What is your vision of a world that works for everyone?
Since information is what makes ‘the world go round,’ I will simply say that the world that works for everyone is such that both the rich and poor alike and irrespective of their place of abode can access information easily without any form of inhibition. “An informed mind is a reformed mind.”
What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today?
Lack of proper dissemination of information is the most pressing problem I see facing the world today. The rich and high-class members of the society can and always do get the information they need. But what about the poor who do not have enough money to buy books, magazines, log on the net e.t.c
How do you feel these problems could best be solved?
More people should be encouraged to read, but the materials should be made available to them at prices they can afford.
Profile
I am Mabadeje Abiodun. I hold Higher National Diploma (i.e HND) in Insurance. And that is just it for insurance. As a motivational speaker and writer my dreams and goals are to speak in seminars and conferences all over the world and to be a best selling author with my books being published in different languages as the Lord will permit. My interests are reading, writing, acting, and motivational speaking and dancing (not in order of priority).
I have read quite a number of books and to pick a favourite might be an herculean task. But I will say “The Great Investment” by Bishop T. D. Jakes, “Developing The Leader Within You” by John C. Maxwell, “Soaring With Eagles Wings” by Bill Newman, “Parable of Dollars” by Rev. Sam Adeyemi, Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki and some others are wonderful books.
For movies, let’s just say I don’t have favourites but Jackie Chan, Jet Li and Van Damme are guys I like watching their films.
I was the editor of my department’s annual magazine when I was in HND 1 (the magazine is called “The Underwriter) and Public Relations Officer (P.R.O) for the same department in my final year in school (i.e HND II). In my secondary school I was President of the school’s Christian Fellowship, the captain for my class as well as the Assistant Senior Boy of the school in my final year.
I am not yet married but that will happen within the next three to four years.
I already have two books printed and a third one coming out soon.
