Waken the Giant Within
Mohammed Sannoh (Liberia)
Sannohmohammedm@gmail.com
Below are some highlights from a recent assessment:
Taking control of your own life: This idea is important because it empowers individuals to become proactive rather than reactive. By taking responsibility for my own actions and choices, I can shape my lives according to my desires and values. For example, I have seen people who have transformed their lives by taking control of their health and making positive changes in their diet and exercise routine.
Setting goals: Goal-setting is crucial for personal growth and success as it provides direction and motivation. By setting specific and achievable goals, I can focus on my efforts and measure my progress. For instance, I have witnessed individuals who have set financial goals and worked diligently to save money, invest wisely, and ultimately achieve financial freedom.
Challenging limiting beliefs: Our beliefs shape our reality, and challenging limiting beliefs is essential for personal growth. By questioning and replacing negative or self-limiting beliefs with empowering ones, individuals can unlock their true potential. For example, I have seen people who have overcome their fear of public speaking by challenging their belief that they are not good enough and instead adopting a belief that they have valuable insights to share.
Strategies for personal change and growth: Personal development requires consistent effort and action. By implementing strategies such as visualization, affirmations, and modeling successful individuals, individuals can accelerate their personal growth. For instance, I have observed individuals who have improved their confidence and performance by visualizing success and adopting the habits and behaviors of successful role models.
Emotional mastery: Emotions play a significant role in our lives, and learning to manage them effectively is crucial for personal success and well-being. By mastering emotions, individuals can respond to challenges and setbacks in a more resourceful manner. For example, I have seen individuals who have transformed their relationships by learning to communicate their emotions effectively and respond empathetically to others’ emotions.
The role of physiology in personal transformation: Physical health and energy are fundamental to personal growth and success. By prioritizing physical well-being through exercise, nutrition, and self-care, individuals can enhance their overall performance and well-being. For instance, I have witnessed individuals who have improved their productivity and mental clarity by incorporating regular exercise and healthy eating habits into their daily routine.
Strategies for creating lasting change: Creating lasting change requires overcoming obstacles and developing empowering habits. By implementing strategies such as identifying and overcoming limiting beliefs, taking consistent action, and surrounding oneself with a supportive environment, individuals can create sustainable change. For example, I have seen individuals who have transformed their habits and achieved significant weight loss by identifying and addressing the underlying emotional triggers that led to their unhealthy behaviors.

What Others Are Saying

How have I Changed?
The studying has helped me in so many aspects. I’m not sure I can record it all. In more sincerity, I’ve changed in so many notable ways.
Someone once said, “no one can take away what ones possess in the aspect of wisdom.” Truly, even when I couldn’t assess my learning materials, the impartation and knowledge gained still couldn’t be taken off
Recalling from the beginning, I felt so empowered to aim high and strive to achieve it from the learnings of Jonathan Livingstone Seagull. Before, I felt alone in my thinking, seeing myself as if I’m the only one aiming too high, when the surroundings opposes it. Though, my heart usually opposes it when preached in church that to desire to make it early brings about lots of sin. Even, I had to neglect a gift of book, teaching about suffering on earth in order to make heaven. Reading this book,I felt the power in me to after what I aimed. The quote that “you don’t need faith to fly,you need understanding” makes me know it’s not just about prayer and more religion. But to learn more on how to bring it to pass.
Moving on to As a Man Thinketh, I understand in so many ways how “a man is the maker of his own self.” How much thinking matters. The two are short books I read over and over again. I love the two because they are like foundation for the learning.
The seven Level One studies all has one major aspect I couldn’t look off or forget anytime. I kept referring to it when discussing with people, recalling the experiences that made me remember it well. For example, joy is one of the major aspect I couldn’t forget in Psychocybernetics by Maxwell Maltz. The writer said “if you are to be happy at all, you must be happy period!” Not because of I kept reading the chapter again and again. It must have been noticed by my family then; because, before, I find it hard to forget situations that put me in a bad mood. I could be angry for a day or two before I finally move on. I don’t oppose people much and I feel sad when people hurt me. If it’s an outsider, I just quit the intensity of the relationship. I changed immediately I read about joy. Also in the book, I gained how to achieve a positive self-image; not blaming oneself when others don’t. Viewing oneself so low even when others envy one’s uniqueness.
As from my younger days, my father always makes me feel as if I’m the worst of my peers. I only get encouraged when the ones regarded higher than me tells me I’m better than them in the same aspect my father despises me. In contrast, now I don’t need any comment or approval to see myself high as I have understand the inferiority and superiority behaviors of people.
I may have forgotten much of my learnings in Success through PMA, one thing I couldn’t forget is to view things in a positive way even when there are lots of odds. This has empowered my memory thinking in lots of ways. Even when in a foreign land, I do remember I must make something happen because everyone thinks it is not possible. For example, I’ve figured out like two ways and how to go about it if I will make millions here, if only I desire to stay long. The author made me understand I can live worse and manage life through NMA or live otherwise. There’s always a last chance if I can try again with faith-filled prayer like the example of SB Fuller in the book. I do put to mind the determination in my book to dress like a CEO one day and take a picture that I will set up to always make me aim at achieving the aim.
In conclusion, success is about not giving up. One can give up due to the intensity of a situation. IIGL has taught most of the formulas to remain on track on my road to success.

Make A Difference
Dream Team 22
Please join Dream Team 22 as our goal is to have 22 people contributing $22 per month. We understand that money is energy and that to sustain and build IIGL we need a lot of people pouring their energy into this endeavor on a regular basis. We also know that not everyone can afford to commit $22 a month – especially our students, who live in countries with economies in which this amount can be equal to a weeks’ salary. So we are offering two options for those who wish to become a part of the Dream Team. One can commit to a $22 a month contribution or to spending 22 seconds each day holding the vision of IIGL becoming financially sustainable by the end of 2024!
Please join the Dream Team and help us create an energetic foundation to support the transformational work of IIGL! You can really make a difference in the world by making a modest contribution of time or money. To make the $22 a month commitment or a one time donation, click the link below. To become a member of the Dream Team 22 by committing 22 second a day to help us hold the vision, contact Deb for details: drosen2@wi.rr.com
