Utomi Jerome Chijioke – Assessments

As a Man Thinketh
Assessment by Utomi Jerome Chijioke (Nigeria)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

The main idea contained in the book titled “As a Man Thinkth” by James Allen is that man is an embodiment of his/her thought, that our thinking structure creates the foundation of what we become. The idea as advanced by James Allen is that the success or failure of every man is primarily dependent on his believe /thought system The idea is that man can never out perform his believe/thought. In summary, James Allen made me to understand that my manner of thinking has direct impact/ influence in determining my character, influence my circumstance and goes a long way to determine if I am going to enjoy good health of mind and body. Also, the book drew my attention to the fact that the way I think will on the long run become a determining influence on my life purpose, achievement, vision and ideals.

2. What were the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

i. That my character and personality is an embodiment of my thinking style.

Thought =habit =character= circumstance=man. The above explains the pivotal role that our thought system performs to determine whom we are or shall become. Through the thought of a man, habit is formed, character is developed and this go along way to determine the circumstance that befalls the personality. This action in this order can never be separated from each other. The engine room, the rudiment of every habit and character is the thought. A very typical example is, if at all time, all that Ii think about in my life is success, greatness and other positive outcomes, This will definitely become my habit and this habit which has registered in my subconscious mind will become my character with time and this obviously will influence the circumstance that will present it self to me. In brief, positive thinking equals positive ideas.

ii.That my thought have a very strong influence on my circumstance.

As I am well aware, my mind is like a very clean slate until I start writing on it . Whatever I choose to write depends on me and whatever I write also, will go a very long way in determining what becomes of my circumstance. The information that I feed my mind with will on the long run make or mare my circumstance . The outcome can make me to become a prisoner of my environment or the creator of that environment. So, in my effort to improve my circumstance, my primary focus should be how to first improve and control my thinking style. I must dutifully have to do these in order to bear good fruit as my thought control will determine what my circumstance becomes. Good seed they say can never produce bad fruit and vise versa .Finally, to ensure that I control my circumstance, the journey must commence with a persistent effort to control what goes into your mind and this effort will help to build my habit, form my character and shape my circumstance.

iii. That my thinking has a very far reaching effect on my health.

As stated above, every accomplishment flows from our thoughts be it negative or positive. Same is applicable to our health, From the mind flows a clean/healthy thought which will on the long run form our circumstance and ordain our destiny. Kindness they say begets kindness and same is applicable to the central idea that is advanced by James Allen. Good health does not occur in a vacuum neither does it occur in isolation . All flows out from the type of thoughts I feed my mind with. Therefore, if my goal in life is to enjoy good health, I must take steps backed with persistent effort to fill my mind with positive and healthy thoughts as this thoughts through the subconscious mind grows to form my habit and later graduates to be my character and determine what becomes my circumstance.

iv. That the way I think will determine the viability and possibility of getting my purpose achieved.

The success or failure of any man is determined by the set of conceptualized purpose set in his mind through his /her thoughts. The burning desire in ones thought helps one a great deal in realizing his purpose in life. So, if achieving my set purpose without fail is my ambition, I should first of all activate that level of thought required in my mind. This thought definitely grows to become a habit and from here turns to my character which will shape my circumstance.

v. That my thinking style plays predominant role in determining what I achieve.

“No one can give what he does not have.” This aphorism best explain the expression that the quality of your thoughts goes a very long way to determining how far one can achieve in life. Yes, it is well agreed that no one can rise above his thought. This implies also that in determining your height of achievement, thought factor must be considered. It is very convincing that the direction of your thought will definitely influence your achievement since everything we become have our thought as its foundation.

vi. That our thoughts have serious influence on our visions and ideals.

Nourishing your inner self with visions and cherishing your ideals builds your thinking power. He that involves his mind on lofty thinking and cherishing great ideals builds his subconscious capacity. Knowing very well that the vision I carry and the ideals I cherish I shall come to achieve, I am left with no other option than to stop feeding my mind with negative visions and ideals but vigorously peruse vision and ideals that enriches the mind that will in no distant time mature into a habit , build my character and influence my circumstance..

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way, both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so, how?

Now that I have been exposed to the fact of the ages that my thought forms my character over time. I have to vigorously purge myself of negative thoughts and fill my subconscious memory with positive thoughts as this will graduates into making a personality with a positive character. When I possess good character, it will influence my circumstance and by extension affects my world.I have to take it upon myself to extent these new found knowledge to all around me. This I can do by becoming a peer educator, organizing personal/self development classes for the youths and reorientation classes for the adolescents. On health, I have to religiously put a positive way of thinking into action and as well educate the people of the benefits of positive thinking to ones health. On vision and ideals, I have to make It constant exercise purging my mind of negative thoughts so as to lay a very good foundation for a healthy mind that generate positive visions and ideals. On circumstance, before now I have always believed that my circumstance is caused by external factors not knowing that they were internally generated and are directly connected to my thinking style. Finally ,the idea has been planted in me, it is a new vision and a new world of exposure which I hope to make very effective use of this opportunity to transform my thinking, rebuild my character, transform my circumstance and change my world.

4. Quotes: Are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why they were important to you.

“Man is made or unmade by himself.”

I see the above comment as thought provoking and a wakeup call to me. It remains me of the fact that whatever I am, I am responsible for it and that I still have the will power to change my present circumstance that is, if I don’t like . This I have come to understand from my reading of this book that I can do by changing my thought system.

“Men are anxious to improve their circumstance but are not willing to improve themselves.”

The above quote again brought to the fore the wrong formula I have been trying to solve my problems. I have come to understand from this author that circumstance are not mechanically changed but requires a systematic process of first changing one’s self by changing the way and manner of thinking in the person.

“Change of diet will not help the man who will not change his thought.”

I learned from the above that for a change to occur in someone, it must not be externally influenced but internal. Change of diet is an external factor and hence cannot do much. For a true change to occur, it must start from my inner self through a change in the way and manner that I think, through the information that I allow to go into my sub-conscious mind . It is all these that will bring about through change and not diet.

“A man can only rise, conquer and achieve by lifting up his thought.”

The author, James Allen was explicit about this, that your thoughts after sometime becomes a habit, habit grows into character and it is your character that attract your circumstance. So, for me to achieve, I have to think achievement and for me to conquire too, I must be success conscious.

5. Is there anything in the book that you do not understand or are unclear about, or are there ideas which you disagree with and, if so, why?

The central idea as contained in the book is a total new world of knowledge and experience. Though strange ideas but they are convincing and sensible postulations and I am totally in agreement with the ideas as advanced by the author, James Allen.

6. Did the book contain exercises for the reader to complete? If so, did you complete all of the exercises and did you find them helpful?

The book did not give any specific exercise on one hand but the central idea of the book is a life long exercise. It calls for day to day constant practice of mind training, regulation, command and control. It requires constant incubation and coordination of new and positive ideas. It involves the act of uprooting negativities from my thought and filling my subconscious mind with positive visions, ideal and information.

7. Was there anything you read in the book that you would like to comment on that was not covered in the previous questions? If so, please comment.

Based on my objective evaluation of the book, I very sincerely believe that it covered enough ground. It is obviously a very good starting point for me going into self development.

Jonathan Livingston Seagull

Assessment by Utomi Jerome Chijioke (Nigeria)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

The author, Richard Bach, main idea as advanced in the book Jonathan Livingston Seagull centers on the notion that I can become whatever I want to be irrespective of the situation or environment I find myself. He centered on shift of our thinking from limitation to freedom using personal efforts, perseverance and constant practice as a vehicle to achieving these. The main or the central idea as advanced is that one should at time fight the long standing negative traditions, rituals, superstitions and have them replaced with new knowledge that brings about libration of mind, body and world at large. The author made me to understand that in every environment, one is born into, there are always limiting belief, tradition which are in most cases based on tradition, superstition rituals at some points. Believing in these tradition or norms, makes one ordinary but viewing it from a positive perspective with a view of effecting change in areas that are not progressive makes one extraordinary.

2. What were the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

i. That my purpose of living is to find perfection and show it forth to my neighbor.

Jonathan Seagull, the lead character/narrator demonstrated a new way to live which I am willing to imbibe. That new life is that I should make effort to develop myself by learning something new. But he did not stop at the point of personal development, rather, he went a step further to use his new found knowledge to develop others and at the same add to the development of the world. This has greatly inspired me and had made me to make up my mind on taking leadership positions wherever I find myself by impacting on the lives of others most especially in my locality or groups that I belong to. This, I believe will help me in no small way to make the world a better place.

ii. That I should stop seeing myself as somebody that is trapped inside a container.

This idea is a librating force to me ever since I came across it in this book. Before now, so many considerations keep me away from aiming very high. At times, I find myself as someone that is caged by this considerations/factor. But with this new found knowledge, a new vista of thinking is been opened in my life. I am now internally inspired and I now occupy a world without limit. I will no longer according to Jonathan see myself like a bird that is free but is not convinced of his freedom. It is obviously a brand new way of thinking and it has ushered me into a new existence.

iii. That even when i fail, i should not stop but continue to make effort as constant effort brings perfection.

Failure to a majority of people is like a death sentence. I have before now belonged to this school of thought. But reading this book and learning how Jonathan Seagull handled failure, I became very inspired. Looking at how he overcame every stumbling block of tradition, superstation, shame and other artificial obstacles, I am greatly inspired and this has also brought about a shift in my paradigm of living. Also, looking at the way Jonathan finally attain perfection, it has reinforced in me the saying that impossibility does not exist. I am now convinced that obstacle can only stop me when I remove my eyes from the goal that I am pursuing but with my eyes fixed on the goal, no difficulty can stop me.

iv. I should continue to work on love

I have been exposed to an entirely new mentality, How? This book has taught me that on my journey to greatness and self libration that I should not be in anyway selfish but should be ready to practically demonstrate my love for all irrespective of what they have done to me in the time past on my journey to greatness. I should be ready at all time willing and eager to share my time and talent with my neighbors. Jonathan Seagull after librating himself from ignorance and limitation made every effort humanly possible to liberate others by impacting the same knowledge to them.

v. I need to stand out and should not allow myself to be limited by tradition and superstition

Just like Jonathan Seagull, most of us were born into different environments with different traditions and superstitions. But some of us got easily conformed while others like Jonathan refused what the society was forcing down on their throat which was not palatable. Seeing the success that Jonathan attained as a result of his non conformity, I have been greatly inspired to stand out of the crowd by not letting the tradition and superstition that exist in the environment that I found myself get me suppressed.

vi. That there is more to learn among which is doing away with laws that does not lead to freedom

Jonathan placed serious emphasis on continuous learning through effort and acquiring of new knowledge. This practically accounted for the great success recorded. This, has also ignited my burning desire to make learning a continuous exercise in my life. Learning not just for learning sake but learning to generate ideas that will bring about a positive change in my world and at the same time do away with all those traditions and superstition that have kept mankind in captivity for a very long period of time.

vii. That I will choose my next world through what I do in the present.

Finally, one of the sterling ideas derived from this book is that I am the architect of my life . That what I do today will definitely determine what my look and fortune shall be tomorrow (the next world). So, this idea from this book has increased my eagerness to be careful with what I do presently as there is a constant link between the past, present as well as the future. It has bring to the fore, the fact that today is the slate that I will write how my tomorrow/ future shall look.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way, both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so, how?

In the first instance, this book has brought a change in my thinking pattern. I used to see myself as somebody who is a second class citizen/creature, as someone that very easily resign to fate, the book has taught me that I am the architect of my life and the captain of my destiny. It has also exposed me to a new method of reasoning making me to understand that the sky is never the limit but rather, that where I place the limit becomes the limit in my life. A new method of thinking has been planted in my subconscious mind. I now see myself as leader charged with the responsibility of discovering and developing talents and bring about reorientation in the lives of the people I am now convinced that I can be successful in any given task or any goal that I choose. Also, before reading this book, when planning any personal project, I naturally create artificial limitation believing that there are levels that I can go and there are levels that are not meant for me.

For a very long time, despair and despondency, very predominantly existed in my subconscious mind and that has been affecting my ability to execute my planned projects to a logical conclusion. In most cases, I get some of these projects abandoned at the middle of the exercise. The knowledge from this book has elevated me to a new level of consciousness thereby bringing a shift in paradigm. I have been educated by the author that at all time, I should not live by the philosophy of succeeding alone. I should at all time try to use my position, talent and treasure to educate , inform and develop the talent deposited in others that are not adequately developed or put into effective use.

Finally, the author has taught me that I should make every frantic effort in ensuring that my environment, culture, ritual, discouraging comments from people or superstition does limit me.

4. Quotes: Are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why they were important to you.

“I don’t mind being bone and feathers mom, I just want to know what I can do in the air and what I can’t, that’s all. I just want to know.’’

The above statement taught me that for me to move from where I am to where t want to be, I should be ready to make sacrifices and pay the price of discipline. This discipline and prices comes in different forms and shapes. It could come through self denial of pleasure, making of constant effort in order to make a dream come through and deprivations.

“We can left ourselves of ignorance, we can find ourselves as creatures of excellence and intelligence . We can be free. We can fly.”

The above statement exposed me to a new level of knowledge by teaching me that I can actually educate myself to whichever level that I would want to. I have now through this comment made up my mind and taken a decision to vigorously indulge in the act of personal development through pursuit of new knowledge, learning of new skills, learning from my mentors and role models as well as made up my mind to understand that I can actually achieve perfection through being focused and committed to whatever I decide to do. The statement has also exposed my thought to the fact that I can fly above every obstacle through personal resolve of mine and through conscientious effort.

“But you can Jonathan. For you have learned. One school is finished, and another and the time has come for another to begun.”

By reading this book coupled with the above comment as contained in the book, I have come to the realization that learning is a lifetime project or exercise. I am now convinced by the saying that the end of one learning process is the beginning of another . The quote have proved to me that as a human, the day I stop learning is like the day one stops growing . From the statement also, I have been told that I can do all things only if I should demonstrate a disciplined attention, persistence and remain focused .

“No Jonathan, there is no such place .Heaven is not a place and is not a time. Heaven is being perfect.”

The quote remains one of the most interesting source of encouragement to me in this new journey of searching for meaning in life. With the comment, my goal in life have been simplified and my target more specific. I now understand that in life, to seek excellence implies seeking heaven. This comment has increased my burning desire to achieve excellence in my chosen endeavor and in my personal relationship with people .It has exposed me to knowing what is important and what is of low value .

“Break the chains of your thought and you break the chains of your body.”

The above uncovered to me that for me to achieve true freedom, it all begin with my ability to change the way I think. True freedom yes begin with my mind set. This I have started to imbibe in my daily living as that will make it manifest physically. It has equally brought about a shift from my negative thinking to a very positive way since am now convinced that whatever I store in my subconscious mind is what will definitely manifest in my life .This new found knowledge have in no small measure restored every form of hope in my life and drove away every form of despair, despondency and negative thoughts that formally exist in my life.

5. Is there anything in the book that you do not understand or are unclear about, or are there ideas which you disagree with and, if so, why?

I must say that I did understood the content based on my own modest and objective analysis as it relates to the central idea of the book .The objective of the writer was clearly stated and conveyed in a simplified language. The characters and their roles were quite clear and chronologically arranged. But, what I would like to seek further clarification on is if the author wrote the book based on personal experience concerning a related challenge faced when growing up or if it was completely imaginative story.

6. Did the book contain exercises for the reader to complete? If so, did you complete all of the exercises and did you find them helpful?

Yes, the whole idea in the book is an embodiment of lifetime exercises . The ideas that the book advanced are things that I should be putting into practice everyday if Obviously I want to reap the gains contained in the book. Though, some of the ideas appeared difficult but to my mind, they are all achievable. Am already reviewing some of the obnoxious laws in my locality and am also taking a vary close look at some of our traditions that lacked a human face in order to know how I can start effecting positive changes .

7. Was there anything you read in the book that you would like to comment on that was not covered in the previous questions? If so, please comment.

The author was diligent in his work. I can say that he virtually touched all the necessary areas that are needed at this level.

Please rate the following questions on a scale from 1 to 10. Ten is good and one is poor.

A. How interesting was it to read? 7
B. How helpful were the contents? 9
C. How easy was it to understand? 6

Success through a Positive Mental Attitude

Assessment by Utomi Jerome Chijioke (Nigeria)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

The main idea of the book, “Success through a Positive Mental Attitude” is that man is the architect of his /her destiny. Man is created with a central clearing house, that is the mind and this mind has to main component called the positive mental attitude (PMA) and the negative mental attitude (NMA) out of which man must work with one. His decision concerning the part of his mind he choose to work with will definitely determine how far or how successful he can go in life. For him to take a decision to succeed in life, He must have to activate his positive mental attitude sending the seventeen principles to work as listed in the book. If on the contrary, one is not interested in living a successful life, he just have to set his negative mental attitude to work by simply working against the seventeen principles of the positive mental attitude. In brief, the central idea of the book is that, what one becomes in life is majorly of personal choice and not necessarily of chance.

2. What were the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

i. Whatever my mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.

This is an introduction into a new way of a life or world without limit and where impossibility does not exist. What the above expression is teaching me is that I should be open to dreams and creative imaginations to create my world. It explains that it should not end at dreams and imaginations but should be accompanied by constant resolve to have that dream or imagination come to life. This can be through having the imaginary pictures of the things you hope to achieve imprinted in your mind and from this stage enters your subconscious mind which will be sending reminder through autosuggestion as well as communicate to the infinite being for the solution to your dreams. Also, the expression is advising, that as I dream , I picture and as I picture, I should start feeling the actualization of that dream. It is advisable that I complete this circle/stages.

ii. We are poor not because of God

The shocking statement caught my attention because of the thought provoking stories used by the author to explain it It got me convinced that one may become poor when he/she fails to use the God given talent deposited in him/her. When one fails to put his / her mind to work in the right way and manner, chances are that he may end being poor. With our God given power of imagination, we are bound to become rich. But when we fail to make use of the God given creative mind, poverty comes knocking and at that point, God should not be blamed.

iii. Our surest way of finding happiness is to devote our time making others happy.

The author’s explanation about using your state of mind to attract whatever you want is very striking. His admonition that in my effort to enlarge others, I get larger, in my effort to make others happy, I feel happier. If this is put to practice by all, it will definitely make the world a better place.

iv. That every adversity comes with seed of greatness.

This statement after coming across it has influenced the way at which I view adversity, challenges and problems. From this idea, being or facing adversity should not be a wasted opportunity. It should be seen as a very good opportunity for self interrogation and self introspection trying to find out the lesson that the adversity holds and find out what one should learn in every circumstance that he finds himself.

v. That I can change my world.

This book, Success through a positive mental attitude introduced me to a very sterling revelation that of all creatures, it is human being that can be internally or inwardly inspired by self. Every other animal depend on external influence, force or factor to be moved to action. This by no small means has, and will continue to make me see myself as dependant on myself for whatever good intention or goal that I want to achieve.

vi. That definiteness of purpose remains the key in every action that am taking or event that am undertaking.

This, I see as one of the principle in the seventeen principles of positive mental attitude. It teaches me to be, and remain focused. Teaching me how to focus on one thing at a time. This I have started to practice and have started seeing that it brings about increase in my productivity.

vii. I Should as in always try to do more.

All the examples and stories from this book shows that developing the attitude ‘’to do more’’ in life is a reflection of a positive mental attitude. It has a far reaching positive effects, In doing more, you achieve what others could not achieve just like the Wright brothers did. In doing more, you go extra mile and going extra mile is where there is no competition and in doing more, you achieve extra ordinary result.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way, both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so, how?

The knowledge that what my mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve has succeeded in up lifting my mind to a level of no despair or despondency. As I received this, I have become more convinced that I can very obviously impact on my environment as I have always conceived in my mind in the time past but was full of fears that it will not work as a result of inadequate resources. I now know that for my mind to have conceived it, shows that it is possible to achieve and all that is needed to believe.

Being told by the author that every adversity has a seed of greatness, has repositioned me from the perspective that I used to view adversities. From now henceforth, I will not see adversity as a death sentence but an opportunity that we can learn from. Armed with the new found knowledge that I can change my world, my pursuit of personal or collective goals becomes easy. It is very important since I now know that the sky is not the limit but rather that I am the limit. That where so ever I place the limit becomes the limit. I have now been inwardly invigorated and will go all out to conquer myself limiting circumstances.

I now have to work out my fate, since I am now well aware that whatever becomes my fate occurred as a result of how I handled my mind. My ability to manage self, time and others will definitely change as I have been exposed to the need to have definite purpose at all time. It will help me in knowing what to do at all time and still remaining focused. It will assist me in knowing how to spend my time on activities that will bring fundamental results as well as aid me in forming priorities. I am now seeing myself as a change agent and this is affecting everything that I am, and will be doing. It will also help to enhance my relationship with others. Looking at those that went extra mile in book and how they achieved extra ordinary results, I have reworked my mind for optimal performance and mediocrity is no longer part of me.

4. Quotes: Are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why they were important to you.

“Anything in life that worth having is worth working for.”

Facing the daily living with a positive mental attitude will among other things expose and convince me that everything in life conceived , is capable of being achieved. But in most cases must not be achieved on a platter of gold .I have to use the positive mental part of my mind to face whatever that my mind has conceived ..

“Do it now.”

Procrastinations is the jailer of ambition and that is exactly what I have learned from the above statement. Whatever that am convinced is achievable, whatever I think is worth doing, what I think that should be of benefit to me, to my neighbor or to the world, that I should not hesitate in doing it. I should just go all out and achieve it without delay so that the law of diminishing intent will set in.

“Success is achieved by those who keep trying.”

Part of the knowledge derived from this book centers on success not being a one attempt arrangement but a continuous one. That even when one fails, it should not mark the end of our effort rather, I should allow it to spur me into further better effort learning from it. Success is not a sprint but a marathon and a lifelong exercise. Even in failure, you learn a better way to achieve success. Even in adversity, I can pluck the seed of greatness which is success.

“Keep your mind on the things you want and off the things you do not want.”

Just as the author said in one of the chapters of this book, “that you are what you think,” same is applicable to our thought structure. What we think, we become. Put in another form, what we think, we are. So I have been exposed to this knowledge that is priceless, the option of what I do with it is left for me. If am success minded and conscious, I will definitely achieve and vice versa.

“The price of ignorance is sickness and death.”

This disclosure has further strengthened the existing maxim which says, “That ignorance is a disease” and by implication, we know where every disease leads to if not given a fight. Ignorance on its own is very expensive. People perish for the lack of knowledge and without knowledge, socioeconomic growth and personal development hardly occurs.

5. Is there anything in the book that you do not understand or are unclear about, or are there ideas which you disagree with and, if so, why?

Currently, I must say that the book is relatively self explanatory most especially when you read in between the lines. The content as well as the central idea of the book was well understood but will require a constant practice to get it well assimilated and perfected.

6. Did the book contain exercises for the reader to complete? If so, did you complete all of the exercises and did you find them helpful?

Both the content and the central idea of the book are nothing but embodiment of exercises. First, as a personal practice adopted from this book, I am learning and putting into practice already the following:

Practicing how to imbibe and assimilate the seventeen principles of the positive mental attitude.

Learning and fighting the self limiting thoughts that have existed within me for a very long time.

I have been energized to do things not the way I used to do then before. I have adopted the spirit of ‘’doing more.’’

I am now learning how’’ to see’’ using pre-recognition.

Learning how to memories comments such as “ As a he thinketh in his heart, so he is.”

Faith without good work is dead.

Do it now.

7. Was there anything you read in the book that you would like to comment on that was not covered in the previous questions? If so, please comment.

My objective comment is that the questions covered virtually all parts of the book. I am only concerned about the diction. The language as used by the author requires a disciplined attention and controlled vision from the reader before he/she can understand it. The language was not simplified like the first set of the two books read earlier.

Please rate the following questions on a scale from 1 to 10. Ten is good and one is poor.

A. How interesting was it to read? 7
B. How helpful were the contents? 9
C. How easy was it to understand? 5
D. Would you recommend it to others? 9
