Please describe your vision of a world that works for everyone.
I see a world where people especially children who are the leaders of tomorrow can gain access \r\n to quality healthcare ,only in this would they be able to maximize their full potentials in the areas of education, business, leadership and the likes. A world where young people can grow into adults positioned to make important policies that would transform and re-engineer every facet of our lives, such that everyone finds living convenient, everyone is able to add their quota and leave this world a better place than we met it.

What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today?
There are a lot of pressing problems, but the one I see as most pressing is the access to good quality health care, in most developing countries the larger chunk of the population has no access to quality healthcare especially children who of course are the most vulnerable because they are yet to develop enough immunity to protect them against these diseases, most of which are preventable. A good example is the Rota virus associated diarrhea that kills children on a yearly basis in developing countries, little or nothing is being done to campaign against it or immunize children against it, the total of number of children that dies through this vaccine preventable disease is not less than a quarter of the persons that die as a result of HIV/AIDS, so it\’s important to begin to focus more on children since they are the movers and shakers of the next generation, investing more in their health is the least we owe them.

How do you feel these problems could best be solved?
In the area of improving access to quality healthcare, it\’s important to realize that leaving it entirely to the government won\’t produce the much anticipated results, as such it\’s important we begin to consider other options. One of the ways I strongly believe can be deployed to solving this problem is encouraging and strengthening health insurance schemes, also another potent way is to encourage more corporate bodies to vote more of their corporate social responsibility fund into the health sector. Another efficacious tool is through the activities of Non-profits, just like Rotary international is spearheading the fight against Polio globally, imagine several other Non-profit also springing up to tackle different global health challenges, the cumulative effect would be phenomenal, one of my strong passions is to set a program to train Medical students on how to start and sustain a Medical Non-profit that is strategically positioned to solve global health challenges. Lastly I would initiate a lot of online campaigns against selected health problems like Rota virus so as to get the attention of health policy makers.
