Mustapha Klah – Assessments

As A Man Thinketh
Assessment by Mustapha Klah (Sierra Leon)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

The author try to reveal the secret factor that is responsible for man action.
Man is the master of him, this mean that man is responsible to made and unmade his condition and destiny or future. For man to be powerful or unpowerful all depends on his thought and the self analysis and experience. From the author the thought of man is the maker and master of character. As a being of self will or power intelligence and love, and master of his own thoughts. Man has the key to every situation that exist within himself that transform and set him backward. All of this agency that work with the behavior of man lies in the thought. According to the author man is the solely responsible for the purity and impurity, its strength and weakness. Man do not attract what they want but what they are, the action of man tells himself the kind of person he is.

The author in his presentation of the idea of thought of man, he presented the idea in the following way.

Thought and character.
The human character starts its Formation from thinking of the heart of man.

As the fruit of flower comes from the blossom of the flower as the starting point, if the blossom has problem their will be no pollination for the success of the fruit or seed will be difficult. Well pollinated flower bring forth good fruits and seeds.
So the act of man is the blossom of thought, and the joy and suffering of the fruits. The thought of man’s mind made him to be joyful or bring suffering to him.
The author confirm that man is always the master, even during his weakest and most abandoned period of man’s life from the challenging thought of man, he will improved his life from the degrading state or foolish.

Effect of thought on circumstances
The author main idea on this topic, were thought should be care for or take care of. He compared the link between the mind and the action of the body with cultivated garden. If the mind is not care for is like garden, the gardener must be care for the garden and will bring forth useless seed or fruits that is not needed by this gardener man has to control his mind or else the body will suffer, as the body is the servant of the mind.

Effect of thought on health and body. The author say that the mind or thought has the power to bring sickness to man’s body.

2. What were the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

* As a being of power, intelligence, love and lord of his own thoughts, man hold the key to every situation, and contains within himself that transforming and regenerative agent by which he may make himself what he will.

This idea that human being has power intelligence, love and lord of his own thoughts and that he has the key to every situation that contains within himself, that transformed and regenerative agent by which he may make himself what he will.
This idea touches me so much that I start to see that I have to take my own responsibility, and this will start within my inner word. I have all the power as human being like any great man that has exist on earth and make history.
Any power should have pillars to sustain it, my power that long time exist in me without my notice, has its pillars intelligence and love. Now I know that I have authority over myself and this will not only stay within me, but will acts outside of my being. The situation that I found myself in presently, I have the key to change or to remain in it. This idea open my vision about human being and started seen human being in the different ways before my participation in the study, is not same view I have now.

* This discovery is totally a matter of application, self analysis and experience.
The idea about thought and the effect on the life of human being is a discovery for me. When the author says about application in the process of self analysis, this tells me that I have to get good thought and applied it, in analyzing every situation that I found myself. In the implementation of my life among the many lives here on earth, once has to know the entry point and the exist route. This idea of me to analyses my life and evaluate my actions through the experience gain from the past, will help me to grow and contribute to the creation of new world , world without war and world without violence. This idea will help me to eliminate contradiction in my thinking and in my action, and this will unify my inner part and action part of my being.

* A man’s mind may linked to a garden. This idea raise a lot of question within me.
What kind of mind do I have ? how I will start my action? Why am I here on earth?
With the many question above , I think this idea has giving me a break through in my life. The author compare the mind of human to a garden meaning man is responsible and must take care of himself. Man has to create image, that kind of image he want for himself in life. The gardener has to select the kind of seed he will want to plant during the farming season. Also select land, tools, labour etc likewise the mind has to select the kind of life the being will produce on earth. The author says that for you to allow the wild seeds to take over your garden with out weeding. If it is weed, will destroy your plant and your garden will grow unwanted plant and produce useless fruit. The mind will have to be take care off.

* Self Control & Self Purification: This idea connects me to the environment that I have seen, and I am living within a giving environment, among other people whose idea of self control is very much important to me. With the idea of self control I need to have control over my action because there is connection between my action and my thought if I do not have control over my thought, my mind will be polluted With bad thought and my body will suffer. Purification to clean every thought that generated within me, needs to be chick properly before it allows to be developed into behaviors and actions outside the body.

* As the man is the lord and master of his thought, he is the maker of himself and the shaper, and author of environment: I am a master of my thought and a maker of my situation, I have the power to shape and direct the environment in which I live. for example if I want to create a violence environment I will do so by becoming an agent of violence, that environment will be shape in to different environment. so man, has the power to build and tire down what is build by others. This idea builds me up to know what kind of freedom I have to what ever I will like to do.

* Self made prison: Most of the sickness that start inside of me some time before I trapped it. Whenever I feel about things changing or whenever my thinking go in the negative region or direction of my body will react with sickness. Now from this study I have come to realize that, to think well of all, to be cheerful with all, to patiently learn to find the good in all, such unselfish thought will help me to be a good moral being and be in the position to help others.

* Effort & Practice: Strength can only be developed by applying individual effort and practice. This reminds me about a time in my life during the civil conflict in my country, life became so difficult with me and I decided to engage myself in any income generating activity. Soap making was then less capital investment, with so many effort that I applied, I was able to learn and with practice I advance in it. This project help me a lot to survive during the civil war in my country. I have now a project which is very new in my country. (Bookkeeping) with effort and practice from research document I am getting on board though it is slow.
Without effort and practice no idea will develop.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way, both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world ? if so how?

This idea will surely help me in my daily life and in my contribution to the creation of better world in the following ways. While building my inner world and unite my thought, feeling and look. This will help to develop a valid action, actions that agreed with my inner being. Develop a skill or technique to manage the present situation. To free from self- imprisonment and work with freedom, which will help me to plan and increase my knowledge about myself. This will help me to have self control over my own actions. Will help me to understand the period or time in which it happen for me to live. This idea will help me to know the kind of value system today that exist and contribute to the value system that are suppose to exist that will create a better world.

4. Are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention ? if so, please quote them and comment as to why they were important to you.

The author used some Quotation that got my attention.

By the right choice and true the application of thought, man ascends to the divine perfection. By the abuse of wrong application of thought the descend below the level of the beast. Between these two streamers ate all the grade of character and man is their maker and master.

This quotation or these statement got my attention because it teaches me and give me a guide to the inner road. This guide concern the inner landscape one many encounter when working with the thought and direction you can imprint on your mental movements. Its allow my being to cast itself to the dark region or abuse and wrong application of my body will wins the battle and it dominate. The sensation and appearance of the spirit, of forces of memories will arise with this you descend below the level of the beast. Here dwell hatred, vengeance, strangeness, possession, jealovesy, and the desire to remain. If I do a right choice and true application, I will have a lot of resistance and fatigue at every step but with effort and practice I will reach to the land of perfection.

Man is buffeted by circumstances so long as he believes himself to be the creator of outside conditions. But when he realize that he is a creative power and that he may command the hidden soil and seeds of his being out of which circumstances will grow, he then becomes the rightful master of himself.

This statement got my attention because there is a reality in it. I also believe that the situation or circumstances I found myself at the moment is created from outside, this will close and destroyed my force and thought that will give rise to the inner power. The and result will be a fail man full of frustration. But if I realizes that I am a human being like Amy another human being and have the same power to create and contribute to the development of humanity , then good thought, action that can bring improvement and development to humanity will sprigs from me

5. Is there anything in the book that you to not understand or are unclear about, or are there ideas which you disagree with and, if so, why?

There is nothing in this book that I disagree with and ever king that I love was clear to me and understood.

6. Did the book contain excises for the reactor to complete? If so, did you complete all of the excesses and did you find them helpful?

I found one exercises during my reading. The exercise of self knowledge.
Self knowledge is a fundamental important tool because it spurs you on towards change which is both positive and conscious .The study of self knowledge, you will also know the uncover areas of self deception when faults are brought to night that you formally considered to be out standing merits.

You should not believed that to know your self you have to sit and meditate. To know yourself, you must study yourself in relation to the actual situation of your every day life. your must consider the events that have happened to you in the past your actual situation at present and what you want to achieved in the future. I completed this exercise and I found it helpful, as it reveal to me the actual situation I live in at the moment My next assignment is the way to work on or break out of the mess situation

7. Was there anything you read in the book that you would like to comment on that was not covered in the precious question ? if so, please comment.

I don’t found any thing that was not cover in the previous question.

Jonathan Livingston Seagull
Assessment by Mustapha Klah (Sierra Leon)

1. What were the main ideas that the author is trying to convey in the book?

The main ideas that the author is trying to convey in the book are:

* The thought of human being;

* The important of some one to have vision in life and work after it regardless of the challenges face;

* New idea should come to light and in the process the old ideas will fight them strongly to destroy but the new one has to continue until the clear image is realize by the general population of the human society;

* The story of Jonathan Livingston Seagull should be compared to the great men in history. Men like Christ, Mohamed, Martin Luther King, Mandela of South Africa etc. Part one of the book reveals the intention of Jonathan Livingston Seagull, who see living beyond working for food; This point reveal that the force in human being should be touch by the individual themselves and work to be know to others
Whenever new idea is germinated, the defender of the existing idea will surely cast the new idea out as a way to put stop to ideas coming up;

* The author raises the fundamental issue about life. Knowing whether we want to live, and deciding on the condition in which we want to do so. All for of violence Physical, Economic, Racial, Religious, Sexual and ideological that have been used to block human progress are to be rejected and condemn all form of discrimination, whether overt or hidden; The suffering of humankind did not appear at once, but with the development and expansion of human kind. And clearly, as human being we do not wish to continue suffering but rather to move on to break through this kind of resistance, to integrate them, and to forge a new part in the continuing process of our human development.

2. What were the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas follow by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal example from you own life.

The seven ideas that were most important to me during my reading of the book are:

* The preaching of heaven in the general perspective is that heaven is a place and time.

I have been convincing since from the time I know myself as human being. With this ideology that there is a special place called heaven and man has to work here on earth to secure one house or room. My personal thought about heaven is that there is a place and that human being has to transform into another state before reaching there. When the transformation process is completed, breaking out off contradiction and give life direction toward the future you have surpass and you can enter in to heaven a place of perfection. The idea that there is more to life than eating, or fighting for power on earth.

* The most important knowledge for living “true wisdom” is not the same as the knowledge found in universal laws or thing of that type but is the question of inner experience. The inner register you have about thing, event and the way you work out to surpass its suffering.

* The idea of faith and understanding. It is better to understand thing than to have faith about that particular thing, event, concept etc. From experience, I was in the study group with my friends. One of my friend told us to work very had to understand everything that the teacher teaches us so that during examination we can be in position to answer question that will be giving to us by the teacher. We said, we have faith to pass. In short during the examination our faith fail us we were unable to answer the question that was giving us. Real it is better to understand thing than to have faith about it.

* The idea of injustice.

If any one put stop to your aspiration in life on earth is not just to your development We see this in history in most time the foundation or root where violence germinated and separated the human group and is felt unto this day. In my home those who were weak during the arrived of the white men in my country are not allow to become leader of the community (s), are still consider in the civilize slavery. Stopping others from living the way they feel will improve them without harming you is injust.

* The idea of limited and unlimited.

We are born on earth unlimited. It is only when you accept to be limited in your thinking and action will stop your progress. Since the nature allow for the human body to grow, then we are not limited and any thing that can stop our growth should be put aside like Jonathan Livingston Seagull who accepted to cast out of the family of the Flock. In order to overcome the limited life pose by the inhuman system of the current one has to development a new style or value that is human in nature.

* Freedom to be yourself.

Man is born free and has the right to reject or to accept thing, Law. Religion or any other things. I have the freedom to choose the kind of life I want live and what I will want to contribute to the human existent here on earth and left it behind as legacy.

* Forgiving and Helping the one that has hurt you.

You have to try very had for the one who hurt to understand your thought and the meaning you are trying to prevail. When you forgive some one that has hurt will not only end with that but you that forgive will also be free.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a particular way, both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world?

The ideas convey in the book will help me at personal level to overcome the internal contradiction within me. These ideas will help to have good thought in my every day activities and in all of my action will work within my own direction.
I will have self control and love the reality and work to build it. My look and reaction will move in a good direction toward the creation of non-violence society.
This ideas have awake the force in me to act in the world with a clear image of diversity of belief and accepting many ideas, placing the human being as the center value and concern. That is to say fighting against all pain and suffering that can degrade the human dignity and reduce the human being to nothing or object.

4. Are there statements which the author made that particular got your attention?
If so, please quote them and comment as to why they were import to you.

“Forget about faith” Chiang said it time and again. “You didn’t need faith to fly, you needed to understand flying . This is just the same .Now try again”

This quotation is important to me because it tell me the true of thing. To understand mean that once have to prove thing to other by mean of practical action.

“Each of us is in truth an idea of the Great Gull and unlimited idea of Freedom” Jonathan would stay in the evenings on the beach, “and precision flying is a step toward expressing our real nature. Every thing that limit us where we have to put aside. That’s why all this high -speed practice, and low-Speed and aerobatics”.

To study all challenges and difficulty that one has to meet along the way during the implementation of intention. This quotation is important because it help to build up the human capacity, and maintain the for cast of the person. One has to overcome the entire problem with the hope of reaching the goal.

“Well, ok, they may be outcast,” said some of the younger gulls, “but where on earth did they learn to fly like that?”

Regardless of the status, background if some one can do something should be praise for that. To know thing in their deepest root is good.

“I don’t mind being bone and feathers, mum. I just want to know what I can do in the air and what I can’t, that’s all. I just want to know”.

This quotation tells me to seek for information or hidden idea that will be value for the existent of man proving it by practicing.

5. Is there anything in the book that you do not understand or are unclear about, or are there ideas which you disagree with and, if so, why?

I did not disagree with any idea in this book, because the idea is not for sect of group or culture .But, the ideas is truly global, that is to say every body can use these ideas for personal benefit and also can be use for social transformation of society.

The ideas in this book was clear after reading and following the advices given by the director of study of International Institute for Global Leadership study.
I must admit that the complete understanding of this book can not be achieved during this short time of reading but the future reading.

6. Did the book contain exercise for the reader to complete? If so did you complete all of the exercises and did you find them helpful.

Exercise
The formation of Landscape – External landscape is what we perceive of things, while internal landscape is what we sift from them through the sieve of our internal world. These Landscapes are one and constitute our indissoluble vision of reality.
Beginning with the perception of an external object, a naïve look may confuse” what is seen” with reality itself. Some go further, believing that they remember “reality” just as it was. And still others confuse objects they have perceived and then transformed in other state of consciousness (Their illusion, hallucinations, or dream images) with material objects.

It is not difficult for reasonable people to understand the objects perceived in an earlier moment can appear distorted in dreams and memories. But the simplicity of daily thing, of doing with and among thing, is shaken to its cope by the idea that perceived objects are always covered by a multicolored mantle woven of other, simultaneous perceptions and memories, that perception is an overall mode of being in- the midst-of- thing and includes and emotional tone and the general state of one’s body.

This exercise continues with situation analysis: “Asking myself, what situation do I live in?” I answered this question in an orderly way. I describe my current situation clearly in term of my age, work, home life, health and friends. For each situation I notice the strongest or most unpleasant tensions I feel, and try also to distinguish the emotional moods or ‘climates” I live in. A “climate” is a diffuse pervasive and some times irrational negative emotional mood or feeling. Example of climate is feeling of desolation, violence, loneliness .injustice, oppression, insecurity etc.

I find the above exercise very helpful as it helps me to start working on my own life. Not telling me or directing me, but myself. Internal physical Relaxation.

7. Was there anything you read in the book that you would like to comment on that was not covered in the previous question? If so, please comment.

The seven questions did not touch on how to convert tension every day images or the technique once can used in over coming the daily problem. My suggestion is that the technique to be applied in a difficult situation in everyday life should be included as the first step to enter the global institute of leadership training programme. The idea of having control over images is very important, because images are the controller of human existent. From imagination, perception images action is developed internally and later reveal to other by interaction relationship.

This process will help one to review once life and search in your memory, find the difficult past situation and experience how they can be an extraordinary source of present tension and discomfort.

Psycho-Cybernetics
Assessment by Mustapha Klah (Sierra Leon)

1: What were the main ideas that author is trying to convey in the book?

The main idea of the author in this book is:
• The way to turn disappointment and failure into happiness and success (transformation).
• The way to do self analysis about oneself from birth to present.

Some question to answers: What did I want from life? What I’m willing to give in return (compensation)? How my landscape was form (habit)? How did I want to rebuild my life? How had my childhood impacted my life as an adult? What were my goals? How effectively was I using my imagination and creativity?

In answering the above question will help oneself to clearly identify what he or she want and how to get what he want without using violence as a methodology to achieving goal in life.

Building Self Image:
Every one of us acts, feels and behaves in a way that is consistent with out self image regardless of the reality of that image. The author point out six steps to follow in building your image for success:

Program yourself for success.
The central theme of psycho-cybernetic is maltz’s idea of the human brain as an internal guidance system. This human servomechanism can be either a success mechanism or a failure mechanism; all depend on the target our mind establishes for it and the way it respond to it.

Imagine Your Way To Success:
Creative imagination, as maltz used the term, is separate and distinct from what we think of our creativity. It is a capacity we all possess, the ability to create images in our mind.
By realizing that our action, feeling and behavior are a result of what we imagine to be true, we can change these actions, feeling, and behavior by changing our mental pictures.

Relax and Turn Stress into Success.
Relaxation is the key to activating our creative imagination, the only state in which our servomechanism can work properly.

Set Goals: A prerequisite to Success.
If we have no worthwhile personal goals, it is easy to conclude that life itself is not worthwhile. The body without soul has no power for him and is chronically depend on other people to do everything for him. So is man without goals.

Use Negative Feedback to point you toward Success.
Once you have established goals, your internal guidance system kicks in. But again, it is your self-image that determines whether or not you remain locked on target.

2: What were the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal example from your own life.

Free Yourself From False beliefs
There is no meaning in life, without the direction of human belief toward a specific object/image. Believe is the moving mechanism within the human landscape that faction the behavior, character rand action of individual. Belief has much to do with the mentality of the human being and the mind is the engine room for human activities.

This idea free yourself from false belief move me greatly during my study period. If you are not free from false belief you will never live life to your own expectation.

For Example: Certain thing were told me when I was a child. Now I have seen them to be false is posing a big challenge in my life. Belief has three main important issues: life is defined by belief, community is created by belief, and the life style is faction by belief. This idea gives me a question to ask myself. Why Africa is poor and my country is always class as the poorest country in the world “ UNDP human development index” Giving answer to the above question, for me what is responsible is the kind of belief we develop long since and is still in action “expecting thing or development from outside not from within”.

Stress: Private enemy number one.
There is no personal achievement without having control or managing your stress level. The stress management way portal by the author in this book “Relaxation” as a tool to manage stress has much to do with how one can maintain himself in the way he want to be.
This idea is very import to me, because, this idea will help me to develop a mechanism within my guiding system “self control”.

Example before this time, I used to worry much about thing even some time loss control without retracting back to the direction. I agree with this idea that stress is a private enemy number one. Because of the negative effect it has cause in my life.

The technique giving by this idea as a way of solving problem or managing stress “relaxation” has help me a lot to reconcile with myself and others. Has also helped me to improve on my creative insight through reflective relearning “self discipline school”.
Relaxation according to maltz proposal in which I agree with him. Maltz give “five rules for freeing your creative machinery”.

“Do you worrying before you place your bet, not after the wheel starts turning”.
This mean to me that I have to do a complete situational analysis, knowing the challenges ahead before taking decision not after decision have been taken before I start finding the challenges.

Form the habit of consciously responding to the present moment.
This principle is saying that one has to solve the problem of today and set a mechanism to prevent its occurrence for next time.

Try to do only one thing at a time.
This principle is saying that doing one thing at a time will increase the concentration of oneself toward your objective.

Sleep on it.
This principle mean that you have maintain your focus regardless of what negative data the left brain can present to you.

Relax while you work.
This principle is saying that relaxing while you work will help you to manage the stress at work and remain flesh in mind as you was before you start your work.

Live Lives By Your Own Script. How to Choose and Set Goals
Now follow attentively what I will explain to you, because it concerns the inner landscape you may encounter when working with the force and the directions you on imprint on your mental movements. On the inner road you may walk darkened or luminous. Attend to the two roads that open before you. If you let your being cast it toward dark regions, your body wins the battle and it dominates. Then, sensations and appearances of spirits, of forces, of memories will arise. On this road you descend further and further. Here dwell hatred, vengeance, strangeness, possession jealousy, and the desire to remain. Should you descend even further you will be invaded by frustration, resentment, and all those dreams and desires that have brought rain and death upon humanity. ”Silo” Humanize the Earth.

According to Silo quotation, a man without goal will completely live in darkness. If the mental world of the human being lack image (goal) will be like a field without care, every unwanted grass will grow so also is a man without goal. Living by your own script this idea is very important for me, because this idea clarified to me how to develop a way of life with clear image. For example: the author speaks directly to me when he said that a poor self image can trap you in limited thinking. A wishful thinking “magical thinking”. I am a victim of the above. Now I see the witch craft in Africa, there is no witch craft in Africa what is responsible for the poverty is lack of the technique idea to set goal. “What they want and why they want?”

Moving Ahead: From Goal- Setting to Goal Getting.
This idea of moving from goal setting to goal getting is a way of implementing the plan of action that has been put together in the achievement of the goal set. SMART out line the the steps involve in the planning process. Planning is a detail activities put together in order to achieved a desire goal.

The road to Success: Six way to Maximize Your Progress
This idea point out the ways one can realize the fullness of your goal.

Focus on your action plan daily. This principle is saying that for any goal set to realize the attainment must remain focus on the plan of action on the daily basis. The failure of achieving a goal will start when a day plan of action is not implemented.

Set up a self-monitoring system: This principle means that, for a project to reach it goal must put or identify the indicators that will serve as a point of monitoring progress.

Make a contact with Friend and Co-workers: This principle is telling us the kind of friend and co-workers to share information with.

Use progressive self discipline to stay on target: This principle mean ,you have to break down your task ,assign time to each of the task and have respect for that you have put down to paper.

Design your own system of motivational rewards: This principle is saying that, you have to review your plan of action always and feel the image this goal will bring for you if achieved.

Control burnout by setting priority and narrowing your focus: This principle mean that for some one to achieve the daily plan of action breakdown from the weekly plan of action. You must make a priority among g the activities, putting them on the scale of important to the achievement of the overall goal.

heeding the danger signals: how to avoid failure. This idea of avoiding failure has been the starting point of human strives. If not done well it will cause damage which makes it dangerous for human existent. The seven warning signals that compose “failure”
1. F- Frustration.
2. A-aggressiveness
3. I-insecurity
4. L-loneliness
5. U-uncertainty
6. R-resentment
7. E-emptiness
So it is important to be aware of the above stated. This idea is very important to me ,it show me the way to recognize the negative feeling and attitudes, and take positive action to correct them.

Making the most of psycho-cybernetics: Being alive Vs. Living.
This idea brings about the analysis of life and the way to live and that live which has been giving you.

There is a link between “life force” and longevity the direct relationship that imparted the following:
1. How, a healthy self-image can add years to your life. The image you will develop about yourself will impart your health status. Sickness reduces the life spam of the human life. The healthy self-image will actually help you live longer.
2. becoming the master planner of your life psycho-cybernetic introduce the way one can take to have control over your own life. With this idea you can plan your whole range of life.
3. How to keep your servomechanism well turned. The well will be turned by the help of oiling servomechanism with daily relaxation. All negative influences will be delete and by the power of relaxation.
4. How to make happiness a habit. This is more than just a message. It give the technique on how to maintain the good feeling store in your internal world. Give happiness your best shot. Always be open to the smallest possibility of it.

3: how will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way, both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create better world? If so how?

These ideas will help me to develop the technique on how to plan my life and the way to implement my life with active non-violence. I will now develop my own script avoiding other people owned script. My believe about myself is now change from the false believe I had before. I have now the tools to use in my daily life (CRAFT) and the technique of relaxation. My contribution of the new civilization of “building a society of non violence”. This ideas has done much for me in term of how my landscape was form, suffering of contradiction, and of those actions that give unity to the stream of life. Desire gives raise to violence “the more gross the desires” which does not remain inside people but spreads to others, contaminating the space of relationships. Violence can be seemed in various forms besides its primary form of physical violence. We need simple forms of conduct by which to orient our lives. “Keep simple commandments” Learn to be a bearer of peace, Joy, and above all hope. To conquer physical pain, science and justice are necessary, to conquer mental suffering, it is important to surpass primitive desires.

4: Are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why they were important

“Idea Weight”
Human being are control by the idea or believe of they have about life. Idea is very powerful to human existent. Idea creates community; define the moral style of people example Christian and Muslim.

“Environment and Reality”
This is the great universal truth: Money is everything. Money is government, money is law, money is power. Money is basically sustenance, nothing is done without money, nothing is possible without money.

At the same time, the traditional bonds of solidarity that once joined people together are fast dissolving. Under these conditions, those who control capital have the power and technology to do as the please with both our material and our human resources. They deplete irreplaceable natural resources and act with growing disregard for the human being. Production of weapon and creation of war.

“You are responsible for the thoughts you have in your head at any giving time. You have the capacity to think whatever you choose, and virtually all your self-defeating attitudes and behaviors originate in the way you choose to think”.
Man has the way to choose what he or she wants to be.

“Be careful what you say to your children”.
Before calling a child “stupid” or “clumsy” or “bad” or “a disappointment” it is important for a parent to consider the question “Is this how I wish my child to experience him or herself?”

5. Is there anything in the book that you do not understand or are unclear about, or are there ideas which you disagree with and, if so, why?

No. It takes me long time to study the 13 chapters in this book Psycho-Cybernetic 2000. I got the basic understanding of each topic and have started practicing them in my life. From the basic understanding acquire from this book, I have started sharing these ideas with two youth organizations who asked me to guide them in their restructuring process and be their local consultant.

I agree with all the ideas in this book, because these ideas for me serve as a guidance system that can free the current generation and generation yet unborn from inhuman system established with it implementing tools “violence”.

6. Did the book contain exercises for the reader to complete? If so did you complete all of the exercises and did you find them helpful?

The exercises were partially completed while some on going activity for life such is the exercise of “Relaxation”. The exercise from chapter four (4): how to identify your false beliefs. Exploring where your beliefs come from a questionnaire. I complete filling the questionnaire, which help me to see when and were my landscape was formed.

Losing you from false beliefs: A worksheet.
This particular exercise is ongoing. It is a daily practice which I am working on it to be new habit.

Chapter 7 Taking stock of your set point. A questionnaire. This exercise helps me to evaluate my set point I completed it. Taking an inventory of your skills. This exercise help me to know the skills I already has.

Chapter 8 How to discover why you procrastinate: A questionnaire on how to set a goal in life.

These questionnaires guide me to develop goal in my life and the important of goal setting.

7: Was there anything you read in the book that you would like to comment on that was not covered in the previous questions? If so, please comment.

No. I agree with all, and believe that the above seven questions covered the whole book.

Napoleon Hill Keys To Success
Assessment by Mustapha Klah (Sierra Leon)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

The author revels the way to personal success through the implementation of the 17 principles in ones life.

The technique for applying the 17 principles, the method by which you can develop them in practical form to influence your life and your community all are just as the author laid them out.
The idea offer instruction, keen insight, and a host of opportunities to improved life situation of human being and become a better, more valuable person as you do so.

The 17 principles of personal achievement layout the philosophy of achievement. The main idea is the thought (Think and Growth Rich) meaning that all success starts from the way one think of himself. On the other hand failure is achieve from the moment you fail to identify thing or goal you want in your life.

This idea layout the foundation to build human being free from violence. If you can define goal in your life and work out a project that will help you achieved your goal in life, will stop you violating other people right because you are focus.

2. What were the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal example from your life

THE IMPORTANT OF PURPOSE IN LIFE
The greatest secrete for success is the definiteness of purpose. This idea has helped me to see the important of purpose in life. As the author put it “definiteness of purpose is the starting point of all achievement and it lack is the stumbling block for ninety–eight out of every hundred people” simply because they never really define goal (s) and work toward them.
Before I start this study, I was among the ninety –eight percent because I had no goal set, all my life was working in darkness (working around without following a path that can lead to a destination “Goal”).

This idea show the step by step one should follow in defining, planning and implementing the activities outline that will lead toward the achievement of the worth goal set. The advantages of definiteness of purpose are: One of the greatest advantages of goal setting is that the goal set will help you to specialize in the follow: Budgeting time and money, alertness to opportunity, self decision making capability, cooperation, faith success consciousness. Each of the point above are very much important in human existence. In today world time and money is highly place value, knowing how to budget your time and money will help you to match with the environment, the current believed.

TEAM WORK.
Any goal set or definiteness of purpose require working with other people in the achievement of the goal set. No one has ever attained outstanding success in any thing without applying the mastermind principle. No one mind is complete by itself, all truly great minds have been reinforced through contact with others that allowed them to grow and expand. This idea has helped me to know the skilled involve in establishing a mastermind alliance in the following way:

1 Forming a mastermind alliance, you must determine your purpose of bring other together. No one will on board a train without knowing where it go.

2 Select the member of your alliance. Informing alliance, you must know the kinds of expertise that are need to put together in the attainment of your purpose. The other quality is the ability to work in a spirit of harmony with others.

3 Determine your rewards. The rewards will serve as motivation for participation in mastermind alliance.

4 Set a time and place for meeting. Putting the above into action is to make your contact (address) known to all members of the alliance and time of meeting. Meeting serve as bond that bring members together, help plan action and evaluate activities done before.
Maintaining your alliance. You must maintain the alliance you form, by developing the following characters:

* Confidence. The people you bring together must relied on you.
* Understanding. The members of alliance must understand the nature of the alliance (clear image).
* Fairness and justice. Every member should agree on the division of labour and benefits each one will receive at the end of the activities (redistribution of proceed).
* Courage. Members of the alliance should know the challenges (difficulties) ahead of their intervention and see the reward if the intervention is successful.

BUILD A POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE.
Perception goes a long way. The way you take thing or understand thing will determined your life style. If you put your mind to work with a positive mental attitude and believe that success is your right, your belief will guide toward whatever your purpose of success might be. If on the other hand you adopt a negative mental attitude and fill your mind with thoughts of fear and frustration your mind will draw those same things to you.

Success and failure lie in the power of thought. That is the power of mental attitude. This idea of taking possession of ones own mind and direct it toward desirable goals, has help me to start retaking control of my mind. It is only when I have gone through this idea of positive mental attitude that I acknowledge that the space you occupy in this world is in exact ratio to the quantity and quality of the benefit of others, plus the mental attitude in which you render it.

Developing the positive mental attitude will help me to live happily with all circumstance pose by the environment in which I found myself.

SELF DISCIPLINE
This idea is very important To me as self discipline require self- knowledge of one abilities.
The structure of the mind and it functions.

The mind has six structures
* The ego
* Emotion
* Reason
* Imagination
* Conscience
* The memory

Further more the mind can operate in four centres.
* Intellectual center
* Emotional
* Motor center
* Vegetative center

The relationship between the subconscious mind and the conscious mind show the complete function of the mind.

To know the way my mind function is a great achievement and has created the opportunity for me to have control over myself (self discipline).

The big four presented by the author gave me way to properly manage my life.

Appetite: This guide me on the kind food to eat or drink that can prolong my life with good health. Bad food shortens life and threatening life a lot of ill health.

Positive mental attitude your mind or mental must be in favour of your whole being or else your life will live a disintegrated life, your thinking , feeling and action will not go in the same direction.

Time: The wasting of time is the devil workshop, everything under the sun or planet earth is measure and that is time. Time should be used in favour of one desire. Definiteness of purpose the guiding principle of movement of thing or action.

MAINTAIN SOUND HEALTH
This idea shows the relationship between the mind and body. The body and mind are one (a mind body) your mind body is in turn at one with nature. The nature in this sense is the changes that occur from the day of conception unto the day of death, and transformation to new life.

The force of fear is very dangerous for human health; fear and anxiety produce inharmonious, irritated restlessness in your mind that leads to serious mental maladjustment and produce, its counterpart in the body in the form of serious disease, perhaps even death. Over coming fear is good for maintaining sound health through positive mental attitude. Eating habits, having control over the food and alcohol in take is important for both body and the mind.

The exercise especially relaxation can play an important role in maintaining sound health. Understanding the steps involve in maintain sound health has help me to control ill health that was fabricated by me out of ignorance.

Sex and sublimation, this topic touch me so much its remind me about the kind activities I have undergone to please my partner (sex is behind all the creative forces that advance human destine). In my community this topic is posing a lot of problems and has reduced many people to feel that they can not do any thing without the intervention of other partner or human being (Oppression and limitation has governed their life).

CONTROL YOUR ATTENTION
Control attention is the act of putting all the other principles that give light to human being in the direct way. The important of this principle is the one that coordinate all the faculties of the mind and direct them to give you their combined power.

Example: Let look at motor vehicle and compare the combination function of each part of the vehicle. The vehicle is divided in to several partitions such as: Body, under carries, Engine, Gear box, Herzog etc. this entire different component has different task to play to move and stop the vehicle. The engine cannot move without coordinating with other component of the vehicle. So also is the human being. All the internal and external function of the human being needs to be concentrated toward the goal set.

PERSONAL INITIATIVE
This idea of personal initiative is telling us that to do thing, or imagine thing or create without outside interference from it beginning is the source of all innovation that has head us to the technological advance world today

In this case a ward will raise between the two parties, Mr you and Mr I , Mr you will want an image fixed in his mind for Mr I why Mr I have different image of himself. This two opposing image will not achieve satisfactory goal for Mr you and Mr I.

Personal initiative will tell you what you want, why you want it and what benefit it bring to your community. You don’t need to wait for outsider to tell you how to solve your problem, you go in with an initiative spirit full of self confidence with clear purpose.

3. How will this ideas or lesions help you in a practical way, both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so, how

The idea presented in this book will help me in a practical way, both in daily personal life and in helping me to create a better world
Personal daily life:
These ideas will help me at personal level in the following ways:
* Develop definiteness of purpose for my life.
* Develop faith and applied it in my personal activities
* Build a positive mental attitude
* Think accurately
* Control my attention
* Accept my mistake and learn from it.
* Maintain sound health.
* Budget my time and money.
The personal emplacement in today world at present, anything that may offer personal reference points, referred to action as well as to ones psychological emplacement in front of this changing world, is subjected to argument.

The precipitous changes in today s world lead us to seriously propose the need for a new direction in life.

If one decides to stand up to these problems, one must give direction to one life, striving for coherence among one’s thoughts, feelings and actions. And because we do not live in isolation, we must extent this coherence to our relationship with others, treating them as you want to be treated.

While it is not possible to fulfil these two proposals they constitute the direction in which we need to advance, which we will be able to accomplish above all if we make these proposals permanent references, reflecting on them deeply well- timed action involve retreating when face with great force, and advancing with resolution when it weakens. When one is subject to contradiction, this idea is important in making change of direction in one’s life.

Social level
The ideas help me to relate myself to other with clear point of view knowing what to do, when to do it the people to work with in term of social project. In social role, a person social role has both psychological and sociological aspects. Each individual performs a certain part, depending on their position in the social structure, according to their social status.

4. Are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why were important to you.

“Set aside at least an hour a day to contemplate your relationship to infinite intelligence. Look for the ways in which it is manifested in your life and for places where its power can be applied.”

This quotation is important for my life, because it shows me the way to evaluate my daily activities, my relationship with the infinite intelligence, plan where and when I need the intervention of the infinite intelligence in my life.

“A positive mental attitude is the right mental standing in any giving situation is most often composed of the plus characteristics symbolized by such words as “Faith” “Integrity” “Hope” Optimism” “Courage” Initiative” Generosity” and “Good common sense”.

This quotation shows me the mental position to take in any giving situation and the power it brings human being. Using this quotation, will develop or transform inner being which will lead to master of situation.

Recognize that any thing worth having has a definite price. Anything worth having is worth working for. The price of self-reliance is eternal vigilance in applying your faith.

Important because it discourage the dependency and encourage independency, self-confidence and faith in oneself.

Acknowledge that the space you occupy in this world is in exact ratio to the quantity and quality of the service you render for the benefit of others, plus the mental attitude in which you render it.

This service as a guiding principle for life and touch me so much that my heart and action has taking the road from Mr “I” to “We” with out the influence of other.

Separate fact from opinions, fictions unproved hypotheses, and hearsay.
To see the real image of every situation one has to think well and in doing so the above quotation must be ad hear to.

5. Is there anything in the book that you do not understand or are unclear about, or are there idea which you disagree with and if so, why?

The author wheat my appetite to work had to have basic understanding of the book. Nothing in this book that was unclear to me, nothing in this book that contradict my faith, all it do for me was to strengthen my faith and help me to have self control, live by my own initiative with definitiveness of purpose.

All the ideas presented in this book by the author was agree because of the ingredient of each of the 17 chapters are important for personal and social development.

6. Did the book contain exercise for the reader to complete? If so did you complete all of the exercises and did you find them helpful?

Success Through A Positive Mental Attitude
Assessment by Mustapha Klah (Sierra Leon)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

Success through a positive mental attitude show how to overcome the storming of the mind (cobwebs) and the way to sight on a goal and attain it through persistent thinking and positive action.

The author in this book reveal the power of the human mind and the important of taking control over it as is the only gift that one has total control over. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose by trying. Success is achieved and maintained by those who keep trying with positive mental attitude.

The secret of the mind of man or the two components that the mind works with are the invisible talisman. On the one side is emblazoned the letters positive mental attitude and on the other the letters negative mental attitude.

The functions of the above components are: A positive mental attitude will naturally attract the good and the beautiful. The negative mental attitude will rob you of all that make life worth living.

We are poor not because of God. We are poor because father has never developed a desire to become rich. The universal law state that we translate in to physical reality that thoughts and attitudes which we hold in our mind, no matter what they are. “Thought of poverty and thoughts of riches are the root of failure and success.

Success, health, happiness and wealth depend on how the man makes up his mind.

2. What were the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal example from your own life.

Idea 1
Keep mind on the thing you did want and off the thing you didn’t want.
When imaging an object, the consciousness does not stand apart, uncommitted and neutral toward this operation, the consciousness in this situation is a commitment referred to the imagined. This idea has helped me to direct my attention and safe much of the wasted energy. I used to spend much time on discussing people instead of my life and development.

Idea 2
Nothing is accomplished without work
This idea is very much important because it has helped me to know the fact in life not opinion. One of the greatest writer in the Bible apostle Paul wrote in 2 Thessalonians 3:9-10 Not because we do not make ourselves an example of how should follow us. For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: if anyone will not work, neither shall he eat.
God himself has proven this idea by ordering human kind to work for their survival.

Idea 3
If you are unhappy with your world and want to change it, the place to start is with yourself. If you are right, your world will be right. The first thing to do is to have situational analysis. Ask yourself, what situation do I live in? Answer this question in an orderly way. Describe your situation clearly in terms of your age, work, home life, health and friends. Clearly see your present situation with regard to age, sex, work, etc. and discover which tensions act in each situation. Then, think about which emotion mood you experience in each situation.
Self knowledge is fundamental tool because it spurs you on towards change which is both positive and conscious. This idea has thought me that to know myself; I must study myself in relation to the actual situation of everyday life.

Idea 4
Words are symbols, as S.I. Hayakawa tells us in his book. And you will find that a one word symbol can mean to you the sum total of a combination of innumerable ideas, concepts, and experiences. This idea of symbols has much to do with images. When we refer to the “space of representation” some readers may think of a kind of “container” in whose interior are certain “contents” of consciousness. If they further believe that those “contents” are images, and that those images operate as mere copies of perception, we will have a few difficulties to sort out before we are able to come to agreement. “Such is the case of God”. This great image accepted by human being has resulted into many ideas with different experiences, experience by their founder. Thanks to this common image that guide and direct human kind.

Idea 5
You can do it if you believe you can?
Whatever the mind of man conceive and believe the mind of man can achieve it.
What make me feel and place myself in a special human culture derived from the information received by my memory during the landscape of formation. Believed has influence over the following human existing.

1 Belief and violence. Violence is not natural, it is not a fate. When one acts with violence, it is because it is believed that violence is necessary to obtain what one wants; because one believes that he/she has the right to use violence. This has accompanied us since the beginning of human history.

A. The Greeks had shown that the earth was round 2000 years ago. 1000 years after this date, the people who supported this idea were suspected of sorcery, and almost every one was convince that the earth was flat. That believes delayed much knowledge of geography and many discoveries.

B. It was believed that the earth was at the centre of the universe, and that the sun orbited around it, where as the earth orbits round the sun. But as some refused to hear this idea, they burned the first people who proven that the earth is not the centre of the universe.

C. It was believed for a long time that objects heavier than air could not fly…….Thus; the sky would be always inaccessible for humans and would remain the field of the gods. This is crazy- did they not see the birds? Since this belief failed, planes and rocket were built and fly.

Thus, it is necessary to keep in mind that beliefs are only beliefs and that for lack of knowledge on certain subjects, our consciousness has no other solution but to function with beliefs.
On the other hand, it is necessary to distinguish those beliefs which are useful for the life and those which are harmful because they prevent the evolution of life and knowledge.

2 Believe and Value. If God, the state, money, or any other entity is place as the central value, this subordinates the human being and creates the condition for the subsequent control or sacrifice of other human beings.

Idea 6
One of the greatest services you can render to children is to motivate them to motivate themselves to select the right kind of friend and associations. All worlds you aspire to, all justice and demand, all love you search for, all human beings you would follow or destroy are also within you. Everything that changes within you will change your direction in the landscape you inhabit. Thus, if you have need of something new, you must surpass the old that dominates within you. And how will you do this? Begin by realizing that even if you change your location, you carry your internal landscape within you. This idea has help me to start developing persuasive communication that will be use to guide children in line with the idea above.

Idea 7
For knowledge doesn’t make you successful. But application of the knowledge will. Action!
That which is most important in human life is constructed with materials of unity or contradiction. And this is the deep memory that either continues projecting existence beyond all apparent limits or causes it to disintegrate precisely at this threshold. May all human beings in their final review find remembrance of their internal unity! And what is the flavour of an act of unity? If you would recognize it, rely on that profound peace which accompanied by a gentle joy, leads you into agreement with yourself. This act bears the sign of the most integral truth, for in it; thought, feeling and action in the world are united in the most intimate friendship. Yes, valid action is unmistakeable, you would affirm it a thousand times over should you live as many lives!

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way, both in your daily and personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so how?

These ideas will help me to build my mental wall with positive mental attitude. Keeping mind on thing that I want and off the thing that I don’t want has build in me a spirit of focusing on thing of good result (non- violence on the life of others).

These ideas has help me to know where to start, if I want to contribute to the development in the transformation of the world in to a better free from violence full of tolerance, Solidarity and human being place as the centre value and concern.

These ideas will help me to rid my mind of cobwebs and set my sight on a goal and the attainment of it through persistent thinking and positive action.

These ideas will serve me as a springboard to success, changing my life from that of an ran to front runner. Developed my human relationships, characters, abilities, and capacities that can make me happy and successful in my environment.

Furthermore, these ideas revel to me how important I am and the power of right mental attitude for each specific occasion, the way to turn disappointment into success and fulfilment in life. Above all these ideas will help me to use the greatest principle for life “The joy of work and loving people and serve them”.

4. Are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why were important to you.

Comment
Perceptions of distance thing are seen very close to the physical eyes through the way they are perceived and comprehend.

5. Is there anything in the book that you do not understand or are unclear about, or are there idea which you disagree with and if so, why?

There is nothing in this book that I did not understand or are unclear about, or ideas found which I disagree with.

How To Win Friends & Influence People
Assessment by Mustapha Klah (Sierra Leon)

1. What is the main ides that author is trying to convey in the book?

The main ideas that the author is trying to convey in book are:

How to deal with people or human being. When dealing with people, let us remember that we are not dealing with creature of logic, we are dealing with creatures of emotion, creatures bristling with prejudices and motivated by pride and vanity. But it takes character and self- control to be understanding and forgiving. One of the most neglected virtues of our daily existence is appreciation.

How to influence people to your own way (making people like you). “What is that is common to all humankind and at the same time particular to each human existing? The search for happiness and the desire to overcome pain and suffering are common to all human being and yet particular to each and every human being. Well then, what is this happiness which the human being aspires? This happiness is what ever the human being believes it to be, everybody in the world is seeking happiness and there is one sure way to find it that is by controlling your thoughts, memory and imagination. Happiness doesn’t depend on outward conditions. It depends on inner conditions. It isn’t what you have or who you are or where you or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. Learn to treat others in the same way that you want to be treated (way of life).

How to change people without arousing resentment. The first things to do in working or changing people without arousing resentment know the impact of contradiction on personal and social level. When I speak of contradiction I am speaking of acts that are harmful to one. I betray myself when I do things opposed to what I feel. That creates permanent suffering in me, and that suffering does not remain in me alone – it contaminates all those around me. All acts that end in one inevitably lead toward contamination of one’s immediate surroundings. Even pure wisdom, intellectual wisdom that resides only within oneself, can lead to contradiction. It is a time for action that called for consists of beginning to help others overcome their suffering that is right action, compassion the moral act per excellence. There is only one act that allows the human being to break with his or her contradiction and permanent suffering. This is the moral act in which human being direct themselves towards others in order to help those people overcome their suffering. If you are not indifferent to the pain and suffering of others, you must bring your thoughts, feelings, and actions into agreement in order to help them. A technique like that makes it easy for a person to correct errors, a technique like that saves a person’s pride and gives him or her a feeling of importance. It encourages cooperation instead of rebellion.

2. What were the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you use personal examples from your own life.

Idea 1
It is the individual who is not interested in his fellow men who has the greatest difficulties in life and provides the greatest injury to other. It is from among such individuals that all human failures spring.

If you let your being cast it toward dark regions, you body wins the battle and it dominate. Then, sensation and appearance of spirits, of forces, of memories will arise. On this road you will descend further and further. Here dwell hatred, vengeance, strangeness, possession, jealousy, and the desire to remain. Should you descend even further you will be invaded by frustration, resentment and all the dreams and desire that have brought rain and death upon humanity. Yet I know and you know people who blunder through life trying to wigwag other people into becoming interested in them. Of course, it doesn’t work people are not interested in you or me; they are interested in themselves morning, noon and after dinner. This idea reveals to me the interest of the people.

Idea 2
Always make the other person feel important.

The so called existentialists assume important and implicit norms of perfection. Their answer to “what is mankind”? “What is the specific human condition”? Are formulated in a descriptive way but function as norms. The perfectionist can value pleasure and happiness highly, but refuse to regard them as ultimate goals. In a parley tactical light, there is little sense in a continual bring to consciousness of pleasure and happiness norms even when they are posited as basic: the blinks of self-centredness (Am I happy?) have the way for passivity and depression. The pleasure norms in particular have a tendency to lead to complacency and the exclusion of the activities tinged by unpleasantness or pain. Making some one to realized or feel important in the three state of human existence.
1. Self- realization
2. Ego- realization
3. Self-realization (with lower case).
These will contribute to human development of life form.

Idea 3
The difference between appreciation and flattery

That is simple one is sincere and the other insincere. One comes from the heart out, the other from the teeth out. One is unselfish, the other selfish. One is universally admired the other universally condemned. In each of these moments one feels strong and happy when he is united with other, according to his age, his landscape and his ideas. But in today’s world the possibilities became smaller. Jealousy, envy, intolerance and discrimination are separating us, and in our hearts remains an empty space, which cannot be filled up by false promises of individual ink. Good is what reinforces the human beings bad is what they weaken. Good is what unites the people, bad is what separates them from experience we can say the common force appear if the people feel united without any egoistic calculation, in a common project through which one everyone wins.

Idea 4
Everybody likes to be praised, but when praise is specific, it comes across as sincere not something the other person may be saying just to make one feel good.

In today’s society, Fundamental rights are attacked more viciously everyday, the social net is being destroyed, and people are set against each other so that every one takes issue with those who are worse of instead of with those who are truly responsible for the situation.

I believe that this situation can only change if people unite instead of dividing into a ridiculous war among themselves. It can change if the ties of solidarity between people are strengthened.

Idea 5
You can’t win an argument.

The noise in today world I observe them, the people around me, the people in my city. They move themselves to some where in the landscape of the city. In the street, in cars, on bicycles and in buses. And above my head airplanes fly over me, full of people who are going some where. Every body moves, from here to there, and back again, a daily endless movement.
And again I perceive an additional noise. The noise of the media, with their oceans of programs which sell the happiness of the human being in TV screen format. And now and then I see flashes of the world in between the onslaught of the media. Flashes of war, of violence, of poverty and great human misery, flashes of despair and grief. I see a moment of possible reflection and then the noise media circus goes on again.

Life fighting to exist among the noise in the world today. It is auto most important to know the negative impact that can be created on the time and human energy. The best way to save yourself, your time from argument is to avoid it.

Idea 6
By fighting you never get enough, but by yielding you get more than you expected.

Regarding violence, the state, institutions, the law and religion, and so as not to exceed the limits of this world. I do not believe that the meaning of human action has to do with senseless upheavals or “useless passion” that ends in nothing but absurd disintegration. I believe that the destiny of humanity is oriented by intention, and that people become increasingly conscious of this intention it open the way toward universality. From what we have previously seen it is abundantly clear that human existence does not simply begin and end in a vicious circle of self enclosure, and that a life aspiring to coherence must open itself, expanding its influence toward people and social ambits, advancing not only a concept or a few ideas but precise actions that extend the growth of freedom.

Idea 7
Letting the other person fell that the idea is his or hers not only works in business and politics it works in family life as well.

When we look at others, we are used to looking at what makes them different from us, and we base all of our relations on this attitude. The system is organized precisely to see only this; to underline the differences between human beings, so that in the end, every one feel isolated different, and not-understood. If we tried, on the other hand, to see the thing that we have in common with others, we could discover that by uniting, things work out better, strength and enthusiasm increase, and relations improve.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way, both in your daily and personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so how?

These ideas will help me the developed and overcome the following:
* To develop the attitude of appreciating people for what they are not flattering them.
* To overcome critic, condemn or complain.
* To develop the attitude of genuinely becoming interested in other people regardless of their background or relation, and become a good conversationalist (improved human relation).
* Show me the way how to get cooperation from people (wining people to my own way of life is a great gift for my life).

4. Are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why were important to you.

“Always make the other person happy about doing the thing you suggest.”

Recognizing the dignity of the human being will help you in the entire thing you do.

“The difference between appreciation and flattery? That is simple. One is sincere and the other insincere. One comes from the heart out; the other from the teeth out. One is unselfish; the other selfish. One is universally admired; the other universally condemned.”

The above quotation show the way many people has been deceived by those that flatter them.

“There’s magic, positive magic, in such phases as “I may be wrong. I frequently am. Let’s examine the facts”.

This phrase opens the heart door of other people when dealing with them and allows them to participate fully with you.

“He who treats softly goes far”

This principle will help one to go above the limited image, if implemented.

“By fighting you never get enough, but by yielding you get more than you expected”.

Treating people the way you will have them treat you, will help you to achieve the above principle.

‘Simple changing one three -letter word often spell the difference between failure and success in changing people without giving offence or arousing resentment.’

Failure and success lie in the field of human mind.

5. Is there anything in the book that you do not understand or are unclear about, or are there idea which you disagree with and if so, why?

There is nothing in this book that I did not understand or are unclear about, or ideas found which I disagree with. The centre theme of the author was that building of human relation with out using the mean of force. Success through a positive mental attitude has opened the door of my mind toward prosperity and fulfilment of hart desire in my life.

6. Did the book contain exercise for the reader to complete? If so did you complete all of the exercises and did you find them helpful?

The New Dynamics Of Winning
Assessment by Mustapha Klah (Sierra Leone)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

The main idea that the author conveys in this book is the mind set for a champion/winner. How to prepare the inside that is the spirit side of the champion. You only give what you have, the psychological traits of those who become winner. Being a champion means thinking like a champion. With the new Dynamics of winning, that’s exactly what you ll learn to do.

The component of thinking who course of your project is:
* The beliefs you have about yourself and the habit or character you develop in relation to your beliefs.
* The wiliness to pay the price of success and following the guiding principles of achieving your personal best
* The secrets of mental toughness and how to overcome setback, making stress and all negative influences that inhabit the mind space to work in your favour instead of working against you.

2. What are the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

i. The Zone, And How to Get There.
This idea the zone and how to get there sound to me like a road map for a traveller who has just imagine to travel to an unknown distance place. The most important secret reveal by this idea is that, how to develop your spirit to over come the pain, frustration and the odds you can encounter during your journey to the zone of success. Getting there is all a matter of mental training, mind over muscle, mind over competition, and mind over every thing.

ii.The Entry Fee to Success
This idea teaches us the important of paying the price or reminds us about the entry requirement for any project weather well or bad it most requires a price to pay before you can entry. This reminds me of the secret society ceremony that is held periodically in my culture, before you initiate into it, you has to pay or fulfil a requirement. I also remember the day I wanted a job, the first question I was asked was my qualification requirement, past experience, some one to recommend me as a production and reliable person. Paying the prince is a key quality in the mind of a champion. You could even say that if success has an entry, like into a collage for career development, the cost is total commitment.

iii. Family Business
Understanding family as business structure is very important. There are many similarities between running a business, coaching a team, and being the head of a family. To be a head of any of the enterprises stated above, you need to fully understand your role during the time of had moment that will lead to layoff in term of business enterprise. This idea has reveal to me that running a business organization is like been a head of a family you can’t delete a member of family because of your earning drop down by 70%. The layoff in business organization is not justifiable. Since the CEOs can not lay off their family member due to the losses or low income. This idea will help me to develop the spirit of solidarity, never punish subordinate for mistakes, since I will not fee good to be punish for mistake.

iv. How to Get Out Of Your Own Way
This idea teaches us the important of following the right mental position or the procedure required for every situation face in life, rather than allowing your individual/ challenges that will lead to adversity and become negative, frustrated, and pessimistic. How to get out of your own way following the principle outline here. You must always bear down and try your hardest to win. Don’t quit! Don’t choke! Whatever you do, don’t lose! Self- defeating misconception is almost a mirror image of the first principle allow your thinking to be open that your mind should just be a black screen and everything you do should be spontaneous. This idea has help me to know the important of giving chance to my mind react and prepared to open up, not to freeze my mind and close the storage capacity of my mind space. Allow the mind to act freely with the positive thing conceive,”quiche not the spirit of the mind”

v. Don’t Rush Success
Shortcut to wealth acumination is the root of all negative desire, violence germinated from desire therefore, rushing into success without setting goal and follow the process in achieving or attaining your goal will lead to you to live a disintegrated life, your thinking, feeling, and action will not move in the same direction. For me this idea is direct me to move away from the negative belief and activities that was developed during my landscape of formation. I was thought that the easy way to acuminate wealth is by cheating , believing in the idea of the strongest survive, gathered as much as long as you are in the position with out connecting yourself to the other people or seem them as human being like yourself. This idea will help me to develop my own internal standard of living, that is in ever step in my life I will fee good in doing thing and connected to my own life

vi. Opportunities, Not Obligations
This idea teaches me the technique of a good leadership. The most profitable ingredient provide by this idea is how “ a leader should subordinate he/her own ego for the people he team to lead them, because the leader work with the minds of people, without the support of people, that is allowing themselves to put their minds together for one specific purpose, their will be noting like leadership. No one can be called leader if other people don’t agree with him and support him to be their leader. This idea distinguishes between good leadership and bad leadership. A good leadership motivate others to their highest level by offering opportunities, not obligations. A bad leadership like that type of authoritarian leaders, they produce fear tactics to succeed for short while sooner or later they lose whatever they feel they have been achieve by the used of this tactics. This idea has helped me to know the important for parent to be authentic leaders for their children, so that the children in turn can grow up to be real leaders in society. Building the landscape of children of solidarity full of the spirit of non-violence and develop the mentality of non-violence as a way of life.

vii. Appreciation and Encouragement
This idea to appreciate has much to do with human relation; every human being want to be appreciated for their work, the lack of it will negatively impact the relationship of people, community, and individual. The presence of this principle will help the community to live in harmony, development work or team work will be the foundation block in the heart of the people. When I started using this principle the attitude of my Family, Friend and people around me has started improving like a miracle, indeed a miracle my human relationship is improving. Great to found this family of human nation.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way, both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so how?

These ideas will help me to develop a very good human relationship and the mind set for my success. The zone and how to get their. This reveal the secret of becoming a champion or winner, every human being fight to reach to the top, and for any ideas that can show me the way without harming another human being during the course of my activities is well accepted , because it does not create any emotional harm to me. Paying the price as the entry fees for any intervention is simple but the main fact for every action you under take. Knowing the important of paying the price as an entry point for a successful or failure actions, many a time we fair to achieve a goal set, because we don’t pay attention to the price that required. Commitment which is the required price for an entry point, this will help me to work on this top as a learning process and will surely achieved whatever goal I set with the application of these ideas. How to get out of your own way human being enclose themselves with the circle of pride and ego not giving chance to other people to reach to their soul door, the door of their soul are close so much that no one can reach them.

4. Are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why they were important to you.

i.” It’s not who you are that holds you back, it’s what you think you’re not”.

This situation you find yourself has no power to hold you back, what is important are the belief you have of yourself. This quotation got my attention because it directs me back to the starting point of action that is the thinking and feeling you have about yourself before action. This quotation emphasizes the fact that winner are naturally action-oriented people. The way you see yourself of think determined the kind of life you live, not condition that fashion your life but the image you create about your self in the thinking world.

ii. And he used four laws of learning: Explanation, Demonstration, Correction, and Repetition.

The author shows here the whole process of learning.

Explanation: For any one to understand some thing you most ask some else to explain the content and context of the topic in question.

Demonstration: This remind me of body language, through demonstration communication are pass on from the sender to the receipt without sound.

Correction: Improvement are achievement are reach through correction of mistake, skill are developed by trial and error that is simply mean that trying and correction is the way one can develop skills.

Repetition: Specialization is achieved through the repetition of doing one thing over and again. This quotation has helped me to know the laws of learning.

iii. “To travel hopefully is a better thing than to arrive”

This quotation got my attention, because it teaches me the fact of travel. The life travelling we are doing as a continue process, from conception, pregnancy , birth , childhood, youthful age, adult, elderly death, and transformation into spiritual body to start the next life. Now it is better to travel hopefully than to arrive, if you cannot enjoy your travel, imagine before you reach your destination , fear, frustration , and all the dream that has brought rain and death upon humanity will cover the vehicle you are travelling with, that is your conscience or the mind that direct human action.

iv Wonderful, Safe again, another new day. Let’s go.

Every day is a new day and need to be open by those who take part of it.
The way you imagine the new day will direct your activities for that day. It is good to have a very good image of the day that you are about to start. Fee good and encourage your family to join you in the same line.

5. Is there anything in the book that you do not understand or are unclear about, or are there ideas which you disagree with and, if so, why?

No. I understand the book though it takes me some time. There is no ideas that disagree with my belief, I agree with all the ideas presented in this book.

6. Did the book contain exercises for the reader to complete? If so, did you complete all of the exercises and did you find them useful?

Yes the book contains exercises for the reader. The twenty one day practical goal setting exercises was completed and has thought me how to set goal, especially breaking down of goal into sub goals and the physical resources that will be need to accomplish the goal set .

I find this exercise very useful because goal setting is very important in life without clear goal set for any human being, that human being will work in darkness, this exercise has save me from working in the darkness and disintegrated activities.

7. Was there anything you read in the book that you would like to comment on that was not covered in the previous questions?

No comment. The six questions above cover the entire book.

Giant Steps
Assessment by Mustapha Klah (Sierra Leon)

1. What is the main idea the author is trying to convey in the Book?

The main ideas the author convey in this book are how human can access to the best parts of themselves so that they can constantly produce the result they desire in life

Giant steps is based upon the finest tools, techniques, principles ,and strategies that are convey in this book to help human being to measure their energy like investment. Whatever action taken will contribute to the development of quality of life.

The author points out the important of decision making to the more specific tools that can reduce the quality of your relationships, finances ,health and emotions, the author also shows us how to get maximum results with a minimum investment of time.

2. What were the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why?

i.) More than anything else, I believe our decisions –not the conditions of our lives determined our destiny. This idea is very mush important to me because its directs, points teaches and guides me to know the important of decision.

The condition in which I have in presently does not have any power to block my future or destiny, the power to live the kind live I desired for the future depend on the of decision I can take now to create that future. I earned from this idea some fact that serves for me as a guiding principles.

The floodgates can be opened by one decision, bringing us joy or sorrow, prosperity or poverty, companionship or solitude long life or early death. To know the important of decision making or taking , has help me to take decision about my life, what do I want in my life and has taking the decision face the challenges that I will face in the process o crating that life.

We all have goals whether we know it or not. This means that every body has a dreams and the only way to interpret your dream into physical being depend on the decision you take in this sense decision in the key to success and failure.

ii). What is the force that determines what we try or fail to try to accomplish in our lives? It is our beliefs about what we are capable of, about what possible or impossible, about who we are. belief has direct effect on our daily and future action, belief has created all ideas pain and suffering on the other side of human endeavors. Faith is your awareness of, belief in and harmonizing with the universal powers. You should not simply have faith, you must use it

In the process of expressing a definite desires for the achievement of a purpose, creating a definite and specific plan for attaining that desire, act on that plan, putting every conscious effort behind it. It is important to know the sources of applies faith since faith or belief is the basis of human action . It is impossible to have active applied faith without a positive, definite belief in a supreme being. There are many approaches to gaining such a belief observation, experimentation, feeling, prayer, meditation etc.

How to get what you really want? Pain, pleasure and mental state that will work in your favor, the choice is yours to remain on the positive mental state you must overcome the negative belief that has hold you back from reaching yourself or working in coherence, your feeling thought and action to work in the same direction not in disintegration.

iii). Quite simply, successful people are those who have asked better question and as a result, gotten better answers,

Communication is a basic requirement for human interaction and survivor. It also an element for human existence as well as in the animal kingdom. The average human being spend abut 70% of his active hours communicating verbally which includes listening, speaking, reading and or writing in that order. Paulo Ferrier la Brazilian adult educator stated that the social human World would not exist if it where not a world able to communicate.

Without communication human knowledge would not be communicated and without a relationship of communication between a subjects (people) that know with reference to a knowledgeable abject, he out of knowing will disappear. As the author put it, therefore, if we want to change the quality of our lives, we must change what we habitually ask of ourselves and others.

Knowing the important of searching for information that will improve the quality of life is very much important for human development this concept of questioning helps us greatly for improve my communication skills, intrapersonal interpersonal communication.

iv).The power of transformational vocabulary and Global Metaphors.

The power of success and fairtime lie in the word, life and death prosperity and poverty all human activities generate from the vocabulary we use. Belief and faith come from hearing of a word. Word have the power to start war or create peace, destroy relationship or strengthen them. Word sometime directs our feeling about the meaning we attach to it.

This idea of selecting word to describe situation has help me to know the difference in emotional intensity between calling something a major problem or a minor challenge. Before this time I used the word problem to describe situation, but now using the word challenge to describe situation give me quick solution.

v). knowing what to do is not enough, you must do what you know. Achievement or success is realized from the result of action not the information or knowledge in the head.

Champion believe in doing than knowing, if for example you plan to start a new kind of business venture, doing all the paper work or blue print in to action before any result. The same kind of thinking that had brought us to where we will not get us where we want to go.

Taking the Ten-Day Mental challenge, during the ten day mental challenge, one grate thing I learnt and will help me throughout the course of my life journey. The moments you perceive a possible challenge immediately focus on possible solution.

vi). If we want the deepest fulfillment, we can achieve it only one way: By deciding what we desire most in life what our highest values are: Then committing to live by our decision every single day.

This idea shows us the way to achievement in life. Human action are directed by our desire and value for example the way I value money will direst my action in investment or wealth creation because my deepest desire is money.

vii). The single step most important step in weeding the garden of our minds is to interrupt our limiting patterns. The limiting pattern that has been installed in our minds has stopped us from getting what we want. To change this pattern there is needed to interrupt that is to say change the limiting patterns that has been installed into our mind space.

The author put it this way if you continue to dwell on unresouceful thoughts or feelings for any measurable length of time, remember global belief that has determined the expectation of people.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so how?

These lessons will help me to do the following:

* “To take good care of the earth (Nature).” So that the future generation can continue live from it. For example, we preserve our forests so the soil does not erode. We rotate our crops and avoid using too much fertilizer so that the land remains fertile and water supply does not become polluted. We avoid leaving trash in our neighborhoods so rodents and insects do not breed and cause disease where we live.

* “To take good care of my possessions” so that I can use them for long time and not have to spend money to replace the . For instance, I repair leaks in my roof so rain water does not enter and rot the roofing beams or ruin furniture. We store and preserve our food properly so it can be eaten instead of going bad and have to be thrown out.

* “To use my time wisely” So that I can accomplish what I need to do and keep my live balanced for example, I go to bed at a reasonable hour so I do not sleep away the following day and miss work or school. I am on time for my engagements so I do not waste other people’s time.

* “To take good care of my mind and body” So I can be healthy (both mentally and physically), Work and live productively, and have a good, long life. For instance, I read wildly and watch educational television programs. I eat health food and do not overeat, smoke, or drink alcoholic regularly.

* “Help to discover and how to develop my talents and abilities” So that I can use them for the glory of humanity.

* “To take good care of my family” So that they have every chance to fulfill their potential as human being and member of human family.

To take good care of my moneys so I can share generously with others and have enough to live on for example I pay tax and thus help the government carry out its mission which includes caring for thee poor and needy .

I save widely so I build financial security for myself for the years roc me I also spend responsible so I satisfy my family’s present needs (Housing , Food ,Clothing Health Education and transportation etc) and have something left ever to use in the future .

4. Quotes: Are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so please quote them and comment as to why they were important to you.

“Quite simply, the words we attach experiences”

This attachment some time bring suffering and misery to our life much of the fear are germinate from the attachment of past experience in dealing with other who have proved untrustworthy and wiling to exploit us for their own benefit

“Small leaks sing the ship”

If you’re thought feeling and action does not move in the same direction your whole life will live in a disintegrated life. Sometime the global metaphors help to redirect people to chance or turnaround their situation or suffering into joy. A value is an emotional state .The thinking of human being and the result attained from that world will motivate the mind to develop the value to situation.

Pain and Suffering is driven by the belief. Positive mental attitude will help to develop action that will helps us move toward a pleasurable value. By asking a question, either of yourself or of someone else you can instantly change focus

Practical goal setting exercises was completed and has thought me how to set goal, especially breaking down of goal into the three hundred and sixty five days and the physical resources that will be need to accomplish the goal set.

I find this exercise very useful because goal setting is very important in life without clear goal set for any human being, that human being will work in darkness, this exercise has save me from working in the darkness and disintegrated activities.

Real Magic
Assessment by Mustapha Klah (Sierra Leon)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

The main idea that the author conveys in this book is the unified field of limitless possibilities deep within the human being.

Here all things are possible, with this background, human have the ultimate awareness of choice. We can choose to function at a lower level of awareness and simple exist, caring for our possessions, eating, drinking, sleeping and managing in the world as pawns of the elements, or we can soar to new and higher levels of awareness allowing ourselves to transcend our environment and literally create a word of our own-a world of real magic.

2. What are the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven follow by an explanation after each one as to why it was important
to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

i. My purpose is to give, to serve, to promote peace and prosperity and to become totally, unconditionally loving to all people.

This idea is very important for me because it shows me the mission of my life.

Giving: this reminds for the principle of receiving and giving, that is to say any thing or knowledge accrued was received from some one or nature. This principle tells us give whatever you accrued for the contribution of life.

To serve: This principle means that you have to serve mankind or the world without any limitation.

To promote peace: Every human being or creature required peace for themselves to achieved this you need to promote peace in every aspect of your life activities.

To share unconditional love to all people: To find unconditional love is more difficultly than to find wealth or riches and knowledge. If this principle of sharing unconditional love to one another is apply we can create an environment of peace freedom for all without line of or class between people.

ii. There had to be such an instant when, for whatever reason, you came from what we call nothingness (no boundaries, nor rules no limits, no form) to somethingness. The question is I “why” why would you go from formlessness to from and show up in this human body to live for a period of time and then go back into eternity, or formlessness?

This idea teaches me to know the origin of my life and the return of my life back to the source I cam from. From the time of conception, human being and the environment create limitation that has pose a lot of blockage in my life before now is over. That is to say I have to design the way I want to live without any boundaries or rules that can put me into limitation.

iii. To stay focused on what you are for in life rather than what you are against.

This idea has helped me to know the way I can live with happiness. Everything that I do should be done in love rather than opposing to love, being against your family will not solve the problem you identify that weakens your family. As the author put is:

As you shift your thoughts away from what you oppose, you will shift your inclination away from fighting those things and to supporting that which is on you’re “for” list. This is an excellent method for eliminating much of the inner turmoil and stresses that surface from your fight list.

iv. Prosperity is about process, not outcome. Process is about purpose. Purpose is about loving and giving.

Understanding the fact of prosperity is very important for me. Prosperity is processing, is not one action and outcome of that action determined the success of prosperity.

Process is about purpose meaning that you must be purposeful or in the other word you must be connected to your process of prosperity and giving the question here is how love, giving is connected to the process of your prosperity? When your mind is on the result rather than what you are doing, you create inner discord that blocks any and all possibilities for miracles to show up.

If you fail to choose loving and giving during the process of your prosperity you enclose yourself with envy, jealousy and discord.

If you make the shift, you can create flow, which leads to prosperity and the awareness of personal miracles in your performances.

v. The Big Lie.

In the landscape of formation, or in the process of forming our believed attitude we grow up with the believing in limitations. While our lives actually manifest those limitations. The action of man, community, institution etc depend on believe. If the foundation of your believe is in violence, Non-violence, limitation, dependency, independency and the like you behave according to the believe you attach yourself to. In my society children are not allowed to contribute to their own formation, they are limited in the way of: talking, action, etc. behave and are forced to believe in the Passover limitation believes long ago surface and root himself in my society. The result of this idea is we grow up with the spirit of limitation and we are convinced that we do not have the power to reach out to the thing or life we aspire.

The five point lies revival here by the author shows the complete danger the big lie produce in human being.

1. I can’t help the way I am; I’ve always been this way.
2. it’s nature, I inherited who I am and it can’t be changed
3. My personality is controlled by my chemistry and metabolism.
4. My family is responsible for my personality. I could never escape from the clutches of my family”
5. I can’t escape my culture and time.

vi. Overcoming the Big Lie

Overcoming the big lie will led to empowering to live the life you aspire. Try to eliminate the lie from your min. “I am a miracle” understanding that you have come into this world housed for a while in a limited body. But you also have an unlimited mind. This mind of yours is unbounded, formless, and infinitely capable of creating any kind of miracle that it chooses when it is fully honored and celebrated. This idea has helped me to know the power or force that resides within me (mind).

vii. being unhappy is a habit.

Being depressed is a habit. Being lazy is a habit. Being limited is a habit. These and many other personality traits, result from the way in which you use your mind.

This idea revealed that the habit of man reside in the mind of man, that is to say, the situation once find himself is self created either consciously or unconsciously. To know that you are responsible for your habit no one else is a great gift to me, because these ideas help me to stop casting blame on other for my problems.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world?

These ideas will help me to build my internal being with the habit and neutrality of total loving, serving unconditionally to all with non-violence action.

To stay focus on what you are for in life rather than what you are against.

To stay focus on what you are for in every circumstance or situation is a great, powerful miracle action in life, and with this action the internal peace will be achieved.

To help create a better world is to contribute in the process of this creation, and give what you have. These ideas has help me to get a very good package that I can used to give to help in the process of creating a world without war, non-violence, full of peace and love.

Being unhappy, depressed, limited is a habit. These ideas also helped me to know how useful is for me to use every moment of life in favour of myself not against me. That is to say I have to develop habit that will work in my favour rather than habit that will disintegrate my action from my thought.

Overcoming the Big Lie. Knowing the source of my unlimited ness will help me to act in this direction.

4. Are there any statement which the author made that particularly got you attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why they were important to you.

Quote:
Powerful relationships arise when two centered individuals commit themselves to unconditionally love one another and to support each other’s growth toward their full potential.

Both live freely, without selfish motives or the desire to lock the relationship into any particular form. There are no boundaries when we full embrace each other.

Comment
The underlining words in unconditional love I total agree with the author when we accept one another on the basis of unconditional love, we can embrace each other without boundaries or lock the relationship into any particular form.

Quote
Whatever you have created your physical body in the way of material things the result of that complete invisible mind of yours. The irony of all of this is that when you know you are already complete, you begin to motivate yourself in a totally different way.

What you have become accustomed to is called deficiency motivation.

Comment
This principle reminds us about the relationship between the spiritual body and the physical body. To know how to mould your spiritual being is very important. This principle has help me to know that thing that I have become accustomed to is my direct responsibility of what my mind created through perception and believe I have of myself.

Quote
The great tragedy is not death, but what dies within you when you are alive.

The second part of life started on December 4, 1988 I crossed to the other side. I went to a room full of lights I was just the Lord that lives within my spinal column which houses the soul I had three plates of light come up to my face and tell me I was love. I could go with that energy there and leave this body or I could go back to this body and resume my destiny. It was my choice.

Comment
The greatest lost in life is when you lost love. You will be invaded by frustration, resentment and all those dreams and desires that have brought ruin and death upon humanity. `

Quote
Remove all doubt about what kind of person you can become. This is a mental world that you live in. everything that you know about yourself as a physical being corresponds to a mental equivalent, or a belief you are holding. If you perceive short comings in your personality, then it is because you have the mental equivalent of short coming in your belief system.

This is called doubt.

Comment
If you believe that your life will end with death, what you think, feel and do have no meaning action and attitude are develop from the belief we hold unto for instance if you are indifferent to the pain and suffering of others, none of the help that you ask for can be justified.

Quote
For a few moments, in your encounters with strangers today, shift to knowing and trusting as your way of interacting. Let go of doubt and treat that clerk or telephone contact with trust and confident. Just try it say to yourself, “I trust this person. I will not doubt him, and I know that things will work out in a positive way? This business of learning through knowing and trusting serves you in millions of ways. Suspend your doubt and fear and trust that things will work out.

Comment
Placing the human being as the centre value and concern is the key to unlock doubt.

The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People

Assessment by Mustapha Klah (Sierra Leon)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

The author of the 7 habits of highly effective people Stephen R. Covey present integrated principles centered approach for solving personal and social problems. Principle are universal while belief are varies from culture to culture, tribe to tribe country to country, the different beliefs has the sources of all the problem, violence, and the style of living.

Principles are universally applicable to e very culture for example: Fairness, every one demand fairness at individual and group level. He presents his ideas in a well organized step-step pathway for living with fairness, Integrity, Service, and human dignity both in the internal and external world of the human landscapes. These principles as reveal by Stephen give us the security to adapt to change and give us the wisdom and power to take advantage of the opportunities. Every adversity has the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit for those who have positive mental attitude (Napoleon Hill´s).

2. What are the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by explanation after each one as to why it was important to you.

Use personal example from your own life.

Idea 1: THE WAY WE SEE THE PROBLEM IS THE PROBLEM

In other word the way we see or perceive situation, understanding and interpretation turn the situation in to problem. Our inner eye controls our external eyes. During the writing of this script something happen between a mother and daughter, daughter came from the bath room and enter the room to dress herself, the mother call her to come she responded mother I am busy wait until I serve myself first . the mother perceive and interpret this girl as disobeying her command , within five minutes the father support the girl and the end result was conflict between this family. We create problem by the we see them. This idea helps me to understand the important of positive seen of images which will guide me to convert non meaning into meaning and fulfillment in life. As the author put it: people are intrigued when they see good things happening in the lives of individuals, families, and organizations that are based on solid principles. They admire such personal strength and maturity, such family unity and teamwork, such adaptive synergistic organizational culture.

Idea 2: AT THE CENTER

This idea reveals to me and the world the tool we use to see the world in which we live. This tool as he called it the lens which we use to see. It is now evident to why the home of man has many cultures, believes, systems and many forms of living all spring the center of our circle of influence. It is here that we deal with our vision and our values. It is here that we use our endowment of self-awareness to examine our maps and, if we value correct principles, to make certain that our map accurately describe the territory, that our paradigms are based on principles and reality. It is here that we use our endowment of conscience as a compass to help us detect our own unique talents and areas of contribution.

Idea 3: THINK WIN|WIN

This principle of interpersonal leadership, we have committed the Golden rule to memory, let us now commit it to life. The sources of selfish, unwillingness to cooperate, resistance to authority, defensive communication, overdrawn from emotional bank account has resulted to the culture of low or non trust. This idea thought me to understand the problem that has divided my country by regions and tribes. MY country Sierra Leone has been divided by the politician in to South, East, North and West. Is common to see that all the tribes in west and North fashion themselves against the South and East all the national development project fall in to the hand of destructive spirits, every fashion is a bad spirit for the other fashion. There is non- development if is not from all and for all. The question remain is that how as a country can develop from the developing stage to develop stage with disintegrated mentality? If my country and my people can understand this idea will able to break down the alternative mentality to Win| Win will lead us to commit our thinking, action and interpersonal relationship to golden rule. Our future will be open to the third alternative, it’s not your way or my way; it’s a better way, a higher way. This third alternative will create new people, culture, country and environment that will poetry peace in the mind, heart and action ( With the six alternatives to win |win has script and developed the mentality Win -Lose

Idea 4: THE PRINCIPLE CENTEREDE PARADIGM

This idea is the idea of reality, that is to say loving reality and you build. There are universal laws that govern the human effort or natural laws that are woven into the fabric of every civilization throughout human history and applied by every family, and Institution that has endure and prospered. If you are principle centered person you always be in the position to take advantage of paradigm shift and understand the right mental attitude with principle to be applied in any giving situation. As the author crown it all: the principles I am referring to are not esoteric, mysterious, (religious) ideas. There is not one principle taught in this book that is unique to any specific faith or religion, including my own. These principles are a part of most every major enduring religion, as ell as enduring social philosophies and ethical systems. They are self- evident and can easily be validated by any individual. They seem to exist in all human beings regardless of social conditioning and loyalty to them, even though they might be submerged or numbed by such conditions or disloyalty.

Idea 5: ACT OR BE ACTED UPON

This idea taught us or gives us the tools that will brush our way in life. There is no success without action and nothing is achieved without taking action in the correct direction. We are failure because we don’t act on our own; we wait for people to act upon us which has lead us to be subordinate or dependence before the great civilization in today world. Before I used to fell that the way to my success is in the hand of others, but this idea has help me to know that no one is responsible for the creation of the image I want for my life. As the author put it : the difference between people who exercise initiative and those who don’t is literally the difference between night and day I m not talking about 25 to 50 percent difference in effectiveness, I m talking about a 5000 plus difference, particularly if they are smart ,aware, and sensitive to others.

Idea 6: THE EMOTIONAL BANK ACCOUNT

This idea taught me the important of how to present myself in the mind space of other. How I can deposit, when and where to do emotional banking. This emotion banking, if you open an account will help to illuminate the hearts and minds, and open the heart and mind toward solidarity. This idea will help to kill the exploitation and persecution of others and create the environment that will reflect: Love, Joy, Balance living, and Non-violence, Solidarity and the presence and my presence in heart and mind of the human being.

The financial bank is a place where we deposit and build up reserve for our future used. The more deposit you made the more you make reserve which will lead to wealth acumination, have more for investment, security, and freedom from financial dependence. What then is emotional banking? Emotional banking is the habits will develop and give out to other in the form of relationship. This account will run like traditional financial bank, deposit and withdrawal. Courtesy, kindness, honesty and the like are the habit we bring to this emotional banking for deposit and reserve our image in the heart and mind of other.

Discourtesy, disrespect , cutting you off, overreacting, ignoring you, becoming arbitrary, betraying your trust, threatening you or playing little tin god in your life, are the habits that withdraw you from the heart and mind of other. The more emotional deposit, the more good human relation we can create that will lead us to the creation of a better world.

Idea7: THE LAWS OF LOVE AND THE LAWS OF LIFE.

The key for unlimited living is unconditional love; there is no meaning in life if everything is done without love. we open life of other by depositing unconditional love, when we maintain the primary laws of love we pave the way for others to live the primary laws of life. In other words, when we truly love others without condition, without strings, we help them feel secure and safe and validate and affirmed in their essential worth, identity, and integrity. The natural growth process is encouraged. We make it easier for them to live the laws of life-cooperation, contributions and self-discipline, integrity-and to discover and live true to the highest and best within them. This idea gives us sufficient insight into the various internal states throughout the course of our life.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way, both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so how?

These ideas will help me to become my own creator.

4. Are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why they were important to you.

Quote: while individuals may look at their own lives and interactions in term of paradigms or maps emerging out of their experience and conditioning, these maps are not the territory. They are (subjective reality). Only an attempt to describe the territory.

Comment: Direction in life is very important, the faith, belief, and all the script we inherent from childhood has create the actual situation we find ourselves in today.

Quote: It is also here that our focused efforts achieve the greatest results. As we work within the very center of our circle of influence, we expand it. This is highest leverage PC work, significantly imparting the effectiveness of every aspect of our life.

Whatever is at the center of our life will be the source of our security, guidance, wisdom, and power.

Comment: one of the best ways to achieve success, security, guidance, and power is when you create your own focused line and maintain. When you are focus you can able to organize your forces which will result to power and greatness.

Quote: Now think for a minute about how your mind is working. Is it quick and alert? Do you sense that you are torn between doing this mental exercise and evaluating the point to be made out of it?

Comment: complete relaxation, imagination, visualization, and quieting your mind will help you to understand the state of your mind. Understanding the state of mind is the beginning of all greatness and success in life since history, the control of the force based within the human dimension has proving the external power of the body, all enduring religions known this and has also way serve them in diverse means.

Quote: Admission of ignorance is often the first step in our education. Thoreau taught, (how can we remember our ignorance, which our growth requires, when we are using our knowledge all the time)?

Comment: Accepting the fact about your status or level will help you to fill the gap with the correct information that is required. Information is power, but there is a need for you to know the kind of information by admission of your ignorance as the first step.

5. Is there anything in the book that you do not understand or are unclear about or are there idea, which you disagree with, and, if so why?

The author presentation of his ideas in this book is clear and motivating to increase the interest of the reader. The layout and format, language used helped me to see my own life in the way it is and give me the tools that I can use in changing or improving the life situation at present.

Applying the principles of the 7 habits of highly effective people with simple formula if you follow, will work big time for you, that is to say will attract anything your heart desire “ success in anything like any other book (s) the full understanding will continue as the reader continue reading.

I agree with the book or the author, it improves my level of understanding in the field of mental science.

Unlimited Power

Assessment by Mustapha Klah (Sierra Leon)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

The author reveal all the factors that is responsible for personal success and the behaviors, attitude, action that accompany one in the strive for success.

SUCCESS to laugh often much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded. – Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Man is the Lord of him; remember that the great end of life is not knowledge but action. This mean that man is responsible to made and unmade his condition and destiny or future through action. For man to be powerful or non powerful all depends on the way we structure our internal representation through our five senses- sight, sound, taste, and smell. In another words, we experience the world in the form of visual, auditory, kinesthetic, gustatory, or olfactory sensations. So whatever experiences we have stored in the mind are represented through these senses, primarily through the three major modalities- the visual, auditory, or kinesthetic messages. The author made it simply by saying- remember that if anyone is able to produce a particular result, that result is created by a specific action, both mental and physical.

Knowing the six keys to success and happiness out line by the author clarified the ingredient require for successful living and happiness.

· How to find out what you really want

· The seven lies of success

· How to reprogram your mind in minute to eliminate fears and phobias

· The secret of creating instant rapport with anyone you meet

· How to duplicate the success of others

· The five keys to wealth and happiness

Unlimited Power is a revolutionary fitness book for the mind.

2: What are the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal example from your own life.

a: You can choose beliefs that limit you, or you can choose beliefs that support you.

In my personal live before my interaction with International Institute for Global leadership (IIGL) I thought to belief in many things that has contributed to slow process of my development. The dependency as the only way out, I have to be thankful to IIGL for supply me with viable information especially on the topic of belief which is the foundation for human action, one cannot talk of success without a concrete action.

Whatever you believe with conviction becomes your reality. I grow up in a society that planted belief into the mind, the belief of dependency blaming others for our situation not accepting or taking responsibility of our situation or condition. With these believes of dependency and casting blame has destroyed many dream and have wipe off the self discipline remaining with hanging potential.

Knowledge the difference between the two kinds of believes: Good belief that will support you to live the desire life such as: Joy, peace, harmony, happiness, wealth etc. and bad belief that will block your potential, and when you are invaded by bad belief you end up in this situation: fear, frustration, self hatred, guilt, blaming others for your situation, self judgment and others, resentment and all the dream that has brought suffering and poverty to this of our beautiful planet.

It is only when you are free, mentally and emotionally, that you can begin to channel your energy and enthusiasm in a forward direction.

b: Let’s start with the first key to living health- the power of breath

I have made some experiences with deep breathing I found it helpful to my health. As the author put it, the foundation of health is a healthy bloodstream, the system that transports oxygen and nutrients to all the cells of your body. If you have a healthy circulation system, you’re going to live a long, healthy life.

This idea has help me to know the important of living or maintaining good health by simple application of deep breath which I have development it as a new habit and is serving me well. The body’s cells depend on the lymph system as the only way to drain off the large toxic materials and excess fluid, which restrict the amount of oxygen. How important is the lymph system? If it were totally shut down for twenty-four hours, you would be dead as the result of trapped blood proteins and excess fluid around the cell. Deep breathing is important and I have adopted as way to contribute to the blood circulation within my body. Remember that the quality of your health is really the quality of the life of your cells. Thus, full oxygenating, your system would seem to be a number -one priority, and breathing effectively is certainly the place to start.

c: the fifth key to the living health program is the principle of eating fruit consumption.

To start with it is important to know the kind of food that the body needs much for it proper functioning. I asked myself why do we food? The answer from my perspective is that we eat food for four reasons: 1 to regain energy, 2 to build up our body, 3 for health and 4 to give sound knowledge.

The food we eat determined our comprehension level. For example hone is well know in my country and by religions to be one of the food that give knowledge to people who always eat it as a daily food. Since the brain required heave energy fruit eating to meet this requirement is important.

Fruit is the most perfect food. It takes the least amount of energy to digest and gives your body the most in return. The food your brain can work on is glucose. Fruit is primarily fructose (which can be easily converted into glucose), and it’s most often 90-95 percent water. T5he means it’s cleansing and nurturing at the same time.

The value fruit hold for human living the author advice us to: what you want is something that is easy to digest, that provides fructose the body can use right away, and that helps cleanse the body. When you take up, and for as long into the day as is comfortably possible, eat nothing but fresh fruit or freshly squeezed fruit juice. Keep this commitment until at least twelve noon each day. The longer you can go with just fruit in your body, the greater the opportunity for your body to cleanse itself. If you start to wean yourself from coffee and other garbage you used to load your body down with at the start of the day, you’ll feel a new rush of vitality and energy you won’t believe.

d: winning start with beginning.

Where there is no vision the people work in darkness, this idea teaches us to know the important of working with image in all of our intervention during the cause of our life.

We need to start the day with a question what do want today? And what am I will to do in other to get what I want? Answering this question will clarify your daily activities and unify your whole being.

People are living in poverty not because of lack of resources, the simple thing that is lacking knowing what they want; my people are living with wishing to be in certain condition without clearly stating what they want as the author put it, there are people – we all know of them- who seem constantly lost in a fog of confusion. They go one way, then another. They try one thing, and then shift to another. They move down one path and then retreat in the opposite direction. Their problem is simple: they don’t know what they want. You can’t hit a target if you don’t know what it is.

To have the skill of goal setting is very helpful; from this knowledge gain I declare to the world that I will never be a failure in any project or goal undertaking.

e: words are the most powerful drug used by mankind, Rudyard Kipling once said. We can all think of times when words did seem to have that magical, intoxicating quality.

Our whole activities are directed by word we speak to ourselves. Success and failure depend on the kind of communication skills or word you develop to speak to yourself at all the time. 90% of human activities are directed by the device by words that we speak in the form of communication. Knowing the important of the word and the impact it create for our existence is having the whole kite for living.

I am working on a strategy to develop the words that I will use in my language. The author gives the magic formula. Am I kidding? No. when I say, ask, I don’t mean whine or beg or complain or plead or grovel. I don’t mean expect a handout or a free lunch or an act of charity. I don’t mean expect someone else to do your work for you. What I mean is learn to ask intelligently and precisely.

f: Many times there are opportunities all around for us to make our lives exactly as we wish them to be. There are ways to see our biggest problems as our greatest opportunities- if only we can step out of our trained patterns of perception.

The difference between happy and unhappy people is perception, perception is the way you take or understand. If I perceive my life to be run by others my whole life activities will be design by other which will disintegrate my power base and weaken my enthusiasm. For any man to gain full control and direction must integrate he thought, perception and action in one box.

Many times, by changing these habitual perception patterns, we can create greater choices for our lives. It’s important to remember that perceptions are creative. That is, if we perceive something as a liability, that’s the message we delivery to our brain. Then the brain produces states that make it the reality. If we perceive creative and innovative image that message will be receive by the brain and will then produce the state that make it reality. This idea has helped me to know how to take picture on thing to give to my brain for production of reality.

g: the five keys to wealth and happiness

This idea has helped me to start a new project of developing seminal on specific theme and present it to my people with title (Klah collected work).

We are living in a capitalist society, without capital you cannot live life want to or aspire; this idea of building capital to start your own investment is very helpful for me and people. As the graft above show that even the man living in the last village can able to build he or her capital for future investment adapting this principle of saving ten percent of earning at any time you earn. Developing this idea into habit and behavior will help me and people to free ourselves from the depende3ncy syndrome that has been inculcate from the beginning of mankind.

Comment: This principle deal with evaluation of situation and converting the image that creates the situation. Practicing this by weekly basis will make one clearly see his image or situation is living in. you cannot improve your situation if you don’t have a clear knowledge of it. Checking yourself always will help one to keep on the right track (desire life style).

Quotation: There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.

Comment: The way we see perceive, understand and interpret always, make situation good or bad. For example in my culture a family can split or scatter for single word baster child (No legitimate of the family). The way we can take thing will create our situation or condition in which we found you .All the words we perceive as abusive or offensive could be over if the world perceive then as good , they will surely be no offensive words again, everything with us the decide to start a world that will have no offensive words.

Nonviolent Communication

Assessment by Mustapha Klah (Sierra Leon)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

The author main idea he convey in this book is the step by step methodology of compassionate communication for personal and social liberation. This compassionate communication which the author names it as non violent communication NVC has four components that we used during our communication: 1 observation, 2 Feelings, 3 Needs and 4 Requests. He further continues to highlight two ways communication take place (sending and receiving).

Communication creates the way we live, our relationship with the world and our value system we establish. We have been educated from birth to present on how to talk, the tone, the style in communicating or receiving has resulted giving birth to morality and immorality. The ideological conflict among various structures arise base on the answer they give to communication ethic.

If we think only to meet our need and feeling while communicating or receiving without observing the need and feeling of the other party we will produce the demand, and diagnose what is right and wrong with people we communicate with. The way we think about other can create misunderstanding and frustration. And still worse, it can lead to anger, depression, and even emotional or physical violence.

When we use NVC in our interactions- with ourselves, with another person, or in a group- we become grounded in our natural state of compassion. It is therefore an approach that can be effectively applied at all levels of communication and in diverse situations:

· Intimate relationships

· Families

· Schools

· Organizations and institutions

· Therapy and counseling relationships

· Diplomatic and business negotiations

·

2. What are the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

a: Moralistic Judgments. It is evident in my community to see this form of communication, if the other party is Muslim and Christian are communicating , the Muslim will judge every words base on the ethic or morality of Muslim culture while the Christian will do the same . Before this parties meet for discussion they will conclude the meeting ahead by prejudicing each other according to their value system. The belief we develop has much to do with our communication with ourselves and other, belief delivers a direct command to our nervous system. If the belief you have is the limited one that limit your action or control the world you should speak and accept during communicating certain people or group is devastating. The good thing about belief is that you can choose belies that limit you, or you can choose beliefs that support your relationship with others.

As the author analyze moralistic judgment: one kind of life -alienating communication is the use of moralistic judgments that imply wrongness or badness on that part of people who don’t act in harmony with our values. Such judgments are reflected in language: “the problem with you is that you’re too selfish”. “They’re prejudiced.” “It’s inappropriate.” Blame, insults, put-downs, labels, criticism, comparisons, and diagnoses are all form of judgment.

b: The first component of NVC entails the separation of observation from evaluation. We need to clearly observe what we are seeing, hearing, or touching that is affecting our sense of well -being, without mixing in any evaluation.

Evaluation is the tool we use to find out or judge a situation or activity. While observing is to allow yourself to see thing happing without giving any comment, judgment and contribution. When you mix observation and evaluation during communication, this kind of communication will end up with contradiction and confusion.

It is important for us to separate observation from evaluation to maintain NVC in our language and communication. As the state, the Indian Philosopher J. Krishnamurin once remarked that observing without evaluating is the highest form of human intelligence. When I first read this statement, the thought, “what nonsense!” shot through my mind before I realized that I had just made an evaluation. For most of us, it is difficult to make observations, especially of people and their behavior that are free of judgment, criticism, or other forms of analysis. This idea requires a lot of self-discipline from my part, as this principle will help to adapt the NVC value in all my communication.

c: Requesting that which would enrich life. Keeping your mind on thing you want and off the thing you don’t want is the beginning of enriching your life, the second step is to make the image you want to be more clear and simple to understand.

90% percent of our communication is requesting from other to meet our needs. At point you need to organize your language and the words that will form that language. Example, I want start a project of Non-violence education in my community I will first look at the other three components of NVC: Observing, Feeling, and needing of the community without any factors that will lead to discrimination. Now I will organize positive language before the actual action of request. Whenever we say something to other person, we requesting for something in return.

”All communication done is request.” We need to make our request demanding and honest. The demand will push us to action while honesty will bear the intended desire fruit. The important of honest requesting is that as soon as we request we except reaction from other, remember after we express ourselves vulnerably, we often want to know three things from the listener: 1 what the listener is feeling, 2 what the listener is thinking and 3 whether the listener would be willing to take a particular action.

d: Punishment damages goodwill and self-esteem, and shift our attention from the intrinsic value of an action to external consequences. Blaming and punishing fail to contribute to the motivation we would like to inspire in others.

The principle has helped me to know three the kinds of punishment and the impact it create for human existent. Punishment reduces the human potential and creates limitation for human action all in the name morality and immorality.

We see how punishment has created separation of power in the world, country controlling countries even unto continent, the most common form of punishment is labeling. We were not meant to succumb to the dictates of should and have to, whether they come from outside or inside of ourselves. And if we do yield and submit to these demands, our actions arise from an energy that is devoid of life- giving joy.

The most valuable thing on earth is having the chance think independently without any form of manipulation. We have been learned to built up in pour head information that lead us to wondering “what is it that others think is right for me to say and do?” Punishment some time reduces us below the level of lower animal making us feel like an object.

e: Don’t just do something. This principle is saying that you have to thing with empathy that is to say in another word you have connected yourself to your feeling and action together before the finer action takes place. This remind me of clarity of an image, before you anything it is important to have a clear image connect that image to the feeling that will work for you and the other person you are dealing with.

It is hard to reveal our deepest feeling and needs in our communication, when have the inability to empathy. Self expression becomes easier, when we empathize with others, because we will then have touched their humanness and realized the common qualities we share. When we listen for feelings and needs, we no longer see people as monsters.

f: The Intention behind the Appreciation. Appreciation is one of the words we used in our everyday language that is accepted by our recipient, even though is a judgment of an action. Appreciation serve as a complimenting effort of others that has done something for you they always expect appreciation as reword for their effort.

NVC clearly distinguishes the three components in the expression of appreciation:

· The actions that have contributed to our well-being

· The particular needs of our that have been fulfilled

· The pleasureful feelings engendered by the fulfillment of those needs

The sequence of these ingredients may vary; sometimes all three can be conveyed by a smile or a simple “thank you.” Saying “thank you” in NVC:” this is what you did; this is what I fell; this is the need of mine that was met.” Will help us to use the three components of appreciation with verbal expression.

g: A way to focus attention. This idea has help me to know the guide for improving my relationship with Family, Friend and any person or group of people I may enter to build relationship with during the cause of my life.

This guide shows us, how to reframe and express ourselves and hear others. Instead of using our old habit, and automatic reactions, our words become conscious and aware of what we are perceiving, feeling and wanting. If we are conscious and aware of our perception, feeling and wanting we will be led to express ourselves with honesty and clarity, while simultaneously paying others a respectful and empathic attention.

Using the guide of NVC you will replace your old patterns of defending, withdrawing, or attacking in the face of judgment and criticism, we come to perceive ourselves and others, as well as our intentions and relationships, in a new light. Resistance, defensiveness, and violent reactions are minimized.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way, both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so how?

These ideas will help me to know how to identify the thing I want in my life. The seven ideas above give me the key to open the door that has been blocking my future.

This Idea will surely help me in my daily life and in my contribution to the creation of better world in the following ways. To knowing the four options for receiving negative messages: blame ourselves, blame others, sense our own feeling and needs, and sense others feeling and need. This will help to develop a valid action, actions that agreed with my inner being.

4. Are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why they were important to you.

Quotation

We are compassionate with ourselves when we are able to embrace all parts of ourselves and recognize the needs and values expressed by each part.

Comment

This principle is encouraging us to learn to apply compassion in every situation we face. You cannot give what you don’t have, train all your parts to know the value and need of using compassion at all time.

Quotation

Distinguish between giving from the heart and being motivated by guilt.

Comment

The source of violent is cause by doing thing from fear of guilt. When you act or motivated to do thing from moralistic point of view you always feel disconnected from the from your own action. Taking responsibility for the feelings of others can easily be mistaken for positive caring. You only give positive caring to others when you do thing from your heart.

Quotation

What others do may be the stimulus of our feelings but not the cause.

Comment

The way we perceive the action of others will produce our feeling. The action of others is not the cause of our action. Our feeling geminated from perception and perception from word, feeling will now develop into thought and thought will develop into action. No one responsible for the cause of our action all depend on the way we develop our feeling.

Quotation

We perceive relationships in a new light when we use NVC to hear our own deeper needs and those of others.

Comment

When we use NVC in a relationship will help to guide us to reframe how we express ourselves and hear other partner. Instead of habitual, automatic reactions, our words become conscious responses base firmly on awareness of what we are perceiving, feeling, and wanting.

Here Tracy presents the essential principles you need to know to make your dreams come true.

2. What are the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

IDEA 1: Take charge of your money

This idea has showed me the formula responsible for financial riches or independency. Taking charge of your money mean you should be accountable to yourself on the way you used your money. This idea advice us to save ten to twenty percent of our income for future investment.

Investing ten percent of your earning will bring back the ninety percent you used from your income as sustenance, pleasure, health, clothing, and others. Using this idea in ten years period will sign your financial independent treaty. The starting point of taking complete control over your financial life is for you to set a series of sort, medium, and long- term financial goals; make plans for their achievement; and then disciple yourself to follow your plans, no matter how difficult or distant your goals.

IDEA 2: You Are Responsible

Taking responsibility of your health developing good habits of nutrition exercises will maximum control over your health. Most of the sickness we suffer from originated within ourselves through psychosomatic. Taking control of your psychosomatic will help you to have physical health and fitness. “Psycho”, the mind make “soma” the body, sick. Knowledge of the relationship between the psycho and soma will help me to have control over my psycho; will improve my health and fitness. As the author put it “The starting point of achieving idea levels of health and fitness is for you to make a decision to get into the best physical condition of your life, and then to maintain that level of physical conditioning and well- being indefinitely. Without this kind of firm decision, nothing happens. But if you make this kind of decision and stick to it, virtually everything is possible”.You are responsible for almost everything that happens to you, stops blaming other for your present situation.

IDEA3: BE True to Yourself

This principle teaches the most important value in human life and holds the key for other values. Be true to yourself open the inner door of the human and healthily organize, direct and coordinate the forces in a focus line to achieve vision into reality at personal and social level.

The more you discipline yourself to live consistent with the very best you know, the greater is your level of personal integrity. And the higher your level of integrity, the happier and more powerful you will feel in everything you do.

IDEA 4: The Iron Law of Self-development.

This principle has help me to know that , there is no limitation naturally limiting me in achieving my goal, but the limitation are create by myself in the form of the way I limit myself in my mind and imagination. To accomplish your goal or fail to all depend on your decision you take today and action that follow. Human being are born free without any form of limitation, all limitation are pose by our society during our landscape of formation “morality and immorality”. This law is say that if you decide to join the top 10 percent in your field, nothing on earth can stop you from getting there, except yourself. Les Brown, the motivational speaker, says, “To achieve something that you have never achieved before, you must become someone that you have never been before”. Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe, the Garman philosopher, said, “To have more, you must first be more”.

IDEA 5: The Excellent Executive.

The seven key results outline here for success and failure, planning, organizing, staffing, delegating, supervising, measuring, and reporting. Life can be compare to any job; life has beginning and end on planet earth and is divided in four common categories:

1. Childhood

2. Teenage and youth

3. Adult

4. Elderly

Reflecting back on my past I question myself ,example, how did my parent and society plan my childhood, the answer is the childhood is gone and blaming myself and others cannot change my situation , the only way out is to become the excellent executive of my life. My success and failure lie in my own hand. I have to apply all the seven key results in my personal and social live.

IDEA 6: Become a Learned Person

As the saying goes learning is better the silver and gold. The more information you get the more power you acquire, developing reading habit will increase your knowledge. This reminds me of the formal education system. The whole learning processing started from zero to 9 and A to Z, this principle is teaching us to add on our knowledge on the daily bases, because every book you read will give you knowledge and knowledge acquired from reading will open your inner eye. “Greater is the one in you than the one in the world”. As the author put it: if you read fifteen minutes each evening, rather than watching television, you could complete about fifteen books per years. Just following this simple philosophy you will become one of the best educated and most erudite people of your generation.

IDEA 7: Hard Work on the Wrong Task.

The direction we take in life has much to do with our time. I have work hard for long time without getting much reward as compare to my work. This principle has help me to know that before you do anything in life you have to set goal analyze the outcome result before you take action. In the circular job market many people are working very hard at their jobs, but they are not working on what their boss consider being most important job. This kind of job relationship produces conflicting images at the end different result is achieved that are not important to the enterprise. Try to create communicate link between activities and people responsible to carry out.

2. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way, both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so how?

These ideas will help me to develop a very good habit on Goal setting and time management, avoiding blaming myself and others for my failure. And increase my human relationship and the mind set for my success. Take charge of your money: money is like a bird that has wing, without proper care it can fly in any direction it chooses to go. There are three categories of people using money:

* Money spender

* Money saver

* And money investor

Controlling your money to fly in the direction you choose is will provide the ground for internal peace and happiness. As the saying goes that money: money is everything. Money is government, money is law, money is power, and money is basically sustenance. Nothing is done without money, nothing is possible without money. There is no personal relationship without money; there is no intimacy without money. Even peaceful solitude depends on money. Paying the price as the entry fees for any intervention is simple but the main factor for every action you under take.

Knowing the important of paying the price as an entry point for a success or failure actions, many a time we fair to achieve a goal set, because we don’t pay attention to the price that required. Commitment which is the required price for an entry point, this will help me to work on these knowledge gain as a learning process and will surely achieved whatever goal I set with the application of these ideas.

4. Are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why they were important to you.

Leadership for Dummies

Assessment by Mustapha Klah (Sierra Leone)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

Leadership for dummies revel the secret of leadership, the situation that require for leadership and the quality a leader may have to influence other to follow.

The author organizes his ideas into seven parts:

* What it takes to be a leader

* Leadership is a process

* The art of leadership

* Leadership in everyday life

* Leadership and vision

* Team building and

* The part of tens.

In part one what it take to be a leader teaches us the requirement and kind of leadership. Leadership begins with the willingness to embrace responsibility and accountability. You can’t be a leader if you are afraid of responsibility and accountability. Three key leadership abilities: * Elicit the cooperation of others.

* Listen well and

* Place the needs of others above your own need.

The myths or believe of leadership. Understanding what leadership isn’t as important as understanding leadership is, because much of the information circulating about leadership I false. Understanding the false and truth believes about leadership will help you to see the clear image of leadership and will assist you to build on your abilities that leadership required.

Everyone has the potential to be a leader. Applying the three abilities of leadership, elicit the cooperation of other, listening to others and placing the need of other above your own need are quality that every person can developed and implement.

Leadership is a process. Situation creates the ground for leadership, the demand for leadership changes as the situation changes, leadership I not end in itself. Since leadership I created by situation the circumstance that lead to the creation of situation need to be fully understood by the leader through self analysis. Why did they pick me? What is expected of me? What information do I need? Answering the above questions will help the leader to assess the situation well and fulfill his mission.

The responsibilities of a leader are to create the climate for growth and success 0f the group or organization through turning a vision into a plan and motivate action. Having knowledge on the important of vision is very helpful as our destiny from the vision we has of ourselves. Nothing happens unless fist a dream or vision, we all have dreamed and vision the situation we want to live in tomorrow. We all want to believe deep down in our soul that we have a special gift, that we can make a difference, that we can touch other in a special way, and that we can make the world a better place. A vision comes from three places:

* Experience

* Knowledge

* Imagination.

Mixing the three sources together will help you to turn randomness into a vision and enter into the world of possibility

2. What are the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

IDEA 1: Using what you have.

To know what you have, do self analysis by using the SWOT method.

Knowing your strength, weakness opportunity and treat will help you to know your starting point. The clear result of this analysis will help you to identify bad information that bring mistake, to eliminate mistakes is to know what you have.

After you put together your SWOT chart, you have a pretty good idea of yourself, chances against any given opponent. But more importantly, you know which kills and attitudes you need to work on to improve your abilities and help make them winners.

IDEA 2: Understanding what is doable

One of the ways you can make your vision doable is to make your vision simple. Gather more information, analyze your information well and workout the strategy for the implementation of your idea. Organize your vision or activities on the principle on putting first thing first basis. You can’t become principle-centered without a vision of and a focus on the unique contribution that I yours to make. Realize the power of a single decision acted upon immediately and with utter conviction. The secret is to make a public commitment, one so forceful you cannot turn back from it. While many thought that his was impossible dream, Gandhi’s consistent commitment to hi decision made it an undeniable reality. What could you, too, accomplish in you invoked a similar level of passion, conviction, and action to create unstoppable momentum? Each of us is endowed with innate resources that enable us to achieve all we’ve ever dreamed of-and more. What is doable? The physicist Isidor I. Rabi, who worked on the Manhattan project and later won a Noble Prize, one said, “With enough money, you can even suspend the laws of Nature. Temporarily!” what he meant was that if a thing could be imagined, it could be done. You have to figure out the cause, whether the price is too great to pay for the result, and, finally, whether the result is sufficiently permanent to justify the effort.

IDEA 3 Turning a Vision into a Plan

Vision will remain in the dream world unless is turn into a workable plan of activities. Defining your vision through a plan help you define the scope of your vision. Your chances of success will be that much greater if you invest some initial time, effort, research, and study into building a solid plan. Plan will make the image of your vision clear and enable you to identify all the resource analysis and the time flame. As you go from an idea or a dream to a vision, you will slowly begin the process known as planning. The purpose of planning is to answer this question: “What should we be doing and how should we do it?”

IDEA 4: Being Dependable and Consistent

If you want to be the best you can be and achieve what is truly possible for you. In business the two parties are depend on each other. The buyer depends on the seller to supply him or her with the desire good or service while the seller depends on the buyer to buy his good or service.

In leadership dependability is the form of good judgment in each of the changing circumstance. The follower look up to their leader to guide, direct, motivate, coordinate the entire activities plan that will take them to their goal. You are always searching for the truth, always listening, always working on the things necessary to keep your group cooperating toward its goal.

IDEA 5: Seeing Things Only in Black and White Most of our project fair because we limit ourselves to the proposal in the black and white without considering the factor of unavoidable changes. One of the problems that come with seeing things in black and white is seeing things in terms of moral absolutes. Remember that, nothing is good or bad only the way you perceive and interpreted will make it good or bad. As a leader avoid the mistake of viewing thing base on morality. As the author put it, we suspect that one of the reasons that violence in school has increased among teenagers is that they spend too much time in church hearing that their behavior is considered evil and aberrant. If you receive the message constantly, you come to believe that you are already damned, so what’s the difference whether you live or die, whether you kill or allow yourself to be killed?

IDEA 6: Setting an Agenda

As a leader you have to be sure about the things you want to discuss with your follower before you call for meeting. In a local organization violence emerge during meeting when the executive fair to set agenda and keep to the agenda. Agenda serve as a guide for organization activities.

IDEA 7: Self-awareness

This idea of self awareness teaches us to know the value of understand your own mood, emotions, and drives, as well as their effect on other. When you are about to take the lead, about to accept responsibility, how you project your decision has a big effect on the outcome.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way, both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so how?

The ideas have thought me the skilled and the situation that required for leadership. My view on leader as before has change. With knowledge gain from the ideas above will help me to contribute to the creation of a better world.

A vision depends on your ability to create a team

Comment You have make other people to know your vision, for your vision to be accepted by other all will depend on the way you convince them. Making your vision simple will go a long way to prove your ability.

Quote:

Keep an Open Mind

Comment

For a leader to be successful, you need to gather more information and open your door to everyone in your organization. Listening well to your follower without discrimination will forester cooperation.

Quote:

Always Put Others before Yourself

Comment

Putting the need of your of other above your own need will help you to gain the cooperation of others.

2. Leadership is a process
3. The art of leadership
4. Leadership in everyday life
5. Leadership and vision
6. Team building and
7. The part of tens.

In part one what it take to be a leader teaches us the requirement and kind of leadership. Leadership begins with the willingness to embrace responsibility and accountability. You can’t be a leader if you are afraid of responsibility and accountability. Three key leadership abilities:

1. Elicit the cooperation of others. 2. Listen well and 3. Place the needs of others above your own need.

1. Experience
2. Knowledge
3. Imagination.

Mixing the three sources together will help you to turn randomness into a vision and enter into the world of possibility

2. What are the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

i. Using what you have.

But more importantly, you know which kills and attitudes you need to work on to improve your abilities and help make them winners.

ii. Understanding what is doable

You have to figure out the cause, whether the price is too great to pay for the result, and, finally, whether the result is sufficiently permanent to justify the effort.

iii. Turning a Vision into a Plan

The purpose of planning is to answer this question: “What should we be doing and how should we do it?”

iv. Being Dependable and Consistent
You are always searching for the truth, always listening, always working on the things necessary to keep your group cooperating toward its goal.

v. Seeing Things Only in Black and White
Most of our project fair because we limit ourselves to the proposal in the black and white without considering the factor of unavoidable changes.
If you receive the message constantly, you come to believe that you are already damned, so what’s the difference whether you live or die, whether you kill or allow yourself to be killed?

vi. Setting an Agenda
As a leader you have to be sure about the things you want to discuss with your follower before you call for meeting. In a local organization violence emerge during meeting when the executive fair to set agenda and keep to the agenda. Agenda serve as a guide for organization activities.

vii. Self-awareness

If so how?

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

The author conveys to us in this book the strategies for setting goal and achieving the goal set.

Brian Tracy makes everything about goal setting simple and easy by providing the steps involve in goal setting he outline twelve. The benefit of this methodology has been proven to over one million people has change their situations by using the ingredients to create goal.

1. Have a desire: what do you really want?

Brian shows us the new discovery from the path of frustration to fulfillment has already been discovered. Hundreds of thousands- even millions- of men and women have started with nothing and achieved great success. Here Tracy presents the essential principles you need to know to make your dreams come true.

2. What are the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

i. Take charge of your money

The starting point of taking complete control over your financial life is for you to set a series of sort, medium, and long- term financial goals; make plans for their achievement; and then disciple yourself to follow your plans, no matter how difficult or distant your goals.

ii. You Are Responsible

But if you make this kind of decision and stick to it, virtually everything is possible”.

You are responsible for almost everything that happens to you, stops blaming other for your present situation.

iii. Be True to Yourself
And the higher your level of integrity, the happier and more powerful you will feel in everything you do.

iv. The Iron Law of Self-development.
This principle has help me to know that , there is no limitation naturally limiting me in achieving my goal, but the limitation are create by myself in the form of the way I limit myself in my mind and imagination. To accomplish your goal or fail to all depend on your decision you take today and action that follow.

Human being are born free without any form of limitation, all limitation are pose by our society during our land scape of formation “morality and immorality”. This law is say that if you decide to join the top 10 percent in your field, nothing on earth can stop you from getting there, except yourself.

Les Brown, the motivational speaker, says, “To achieve something that you have never achieved before, you must become someone that you have never been before”.
Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe, the Garman philosopher, said, “To have more, you must first be more”.

v. The Excellent Executive.

I have to apply all the seven key results in my personal and social live.

vi. Become a Learned Person

Just following this simple philosophy you will become one of the best educated and most erudite people of your generation.

vii. Hard Work on the Wrong Task.

1. Money spender
2. Money saver
3. And money investor

Maximum Achievement
Assessment by Mustapha Klah (Sierra Leone)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

The main idea the author present is the proving principles that will help to untapped the potential that lie deep within human being. Integrating these ideas and principle into your life, you will feel hippies, healthier and more self-confident. You will experience a greater sense of power, purpose and self –direction.

Success is compare to lock, if you know the right number you use to open the door no matter which you are, the most important thing here is to have the right number. The “secret of success” is so simple that it is overlooked by many people. Whatever you want you can have as long you the right number (principles) it doesn’t matter your background, age. Nature is neutral. She is no respecter of persons. She plays no favorites. She gives you back what you put in, no more any less.

2. What are the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

The seven ingredients of success

This idea reminds me of the different recipe used in the preparation of food. The taste, small, color is determined by the ingredients used. In life have two roads to follow:

The road to success and
The road to failure

To know the ingredients of success will help to internally enlighten and weed out all unwanted information (negative) that has prevent us from taking control of our life.
Success require principles or ideas to blend together to give out result, the author made it simple to outline the seven ingredient success required during Strive of success. The seven ingredients are:

Peace of Mind: The starting point for success achievement is to have peace of mind as the mind is field were desire are planted, nurture, grow, mature, flower, fruiting, and harvesting of the result. In agriculture soil or land for cultivation is very important to determine yield of the crop in question, careful selection and organization of all factors are required and implement before success result.

Health and Energy: As peace of mind is your normal and natural mental state, so also is health and energy is your normal and natural physical state. This ingredient teaches us the important of sound health in the process of success achievement, since physical energy for implementation of idea or desire is required.
Loving Relationship: Good relationship with the people you live is very important during the cause of your success drive, bad relationship produce negative information that will lead to permanent negative thought in your mind.

Financial Freedom: In today world money is place as the central value and concern for all kinds of development. The simple equation is: peace of mind+ Health and energy +Loving relationship x Financial freedom =Action. Action brings the result. As the author put it “Full 80 percent of the population is preoccupied with money problems. They think about and worry about money when they wake up in the morning, while they’re having breakfast, and throughout the day. They talk and think about it during the evening. This is not a happy, healthy way to live. This is not conducive to being the best you can be.”

Worthy Goals and Ideas: This principle teaches how happiness and idea are tie together , knowing the relationship between happiness and idea will help me to set a clear goals and make plan to meet my goals. I always feel good when I accomplish one agenda of my plan activities toward my goals.

Self-knowledge and Self-Awareness: According to the author for man to perform best, you need to know who you are and why you think and feel the way do. To have eye to see your inner man is very important as this will help you to take complete control over your life

Personal Fulfillment: This is one of the most important ingredients for success, having confidence and feeling that you are becoming what you want to be will fuel the other ingredients to work together in one direction.

B. The March of Progress

To know the power of your mind is the beginning of all progress. The super conscious for five thousand years of recorded history, reveal that men and women of each civilization have occupied themselves searching for the secret of the ages, the key that will enable them unlock potential that lie within them.

Almost all religious organizations, tradition, and order of proceeding of rate rituals initiations, were introduce as a way to find the secret of the age. Knowing the secret of the age in our days and the technique or the way to have control over the secret of age “Super conscious mind”. This discovery has giving us the key to health, happiness and prosperity and free us from the tradition that has oppress, supress, and limit human development in history.

C. Your Statement about Yourself

This principle has helped me to know the important of taking responsibility of my life in every situation I found myself. No human being, thing, situation can prevent me from getting what I want in my life, all depend on myself, I am the driver of my life, my success and failure are in my hand “responsible.”

As the author put it, “there is a direct relationship between how much responsibility you accept in any area of your life and how much control you feel in that area. Responsibility, control and sense of freedom, or autonomy, go hand in hand”.

D. Your Subconscious Mind

The subconscious mind is the store house of all the information human being can use during the cause of life. This principle pose a question to me saying what kind of information you want to store and used during your life time? After reflection and meditation I came to the conclusion that since the subconscious mind receive any kinds of information I can send to him either good or bad , it is my responsibility to weed out the negative information’s from my mind space that are not working in my favor and replace them with positive information that will work for me.

The relationship between the conscious mind and the subconscious is that subconscious mind take command from the conscious. This relationship can be compare to a gardener, planting seeds, the subconscious mind can be the garden or fertile soil, in which the seed is planted germinate and grow.

I am responsible to coordinate the relationship that exist between the conscious mind and subconscious mind, selecting the kind seeds or the fruit I want to harvest from my garden all depend of the quality of seeds , preparation of the field, timely planting of the seed, care taking required by the plant, harvesting of the fruits “destined.”

E. Visualization

Visualization is one of the way to control mental life “Image”, visualization help one to intensify your desire and deepen your beliefs, this in turn increase your willpower and build your persistence.

This principle outlines four elements of visualization:

Frequency: How often you visualize a particular future event, goal or behavior has a powerful impact on your thinking, feeling and acting.

Vividness: This refers to the clarity you give to the image have I your imagination.

Intensity: This refers to the amount of emotion that you combine with your mental picture.

Duration: This refers to the length of time you can hold the picture of something you want in your mind.
When you combine all four elements of visualization together will increase your inner power to super change yourself and accelerate your movement toward you image.

F. Free Yourself from Guilt

This idea helps me to know the benefit of having your mind free from unproductive information. Developing the attitude of guilty free mind person will help you to be yourself throughout the day and you will live in the stream of happiness, peace of mind, joy, love of self and others.

When I have started practice this techniques to free myself and break others from guilt has help me to stop controlling or manipulating people using guilt as a tool. The way to develop guilt is by, criticizing, condemning or complaining. Whenever you feel guilty you develop the emotion of inferiority of your self-esteem.

G. The Practice of Forgiveness

Forgiveness is one of the tools you can use to delete all unwanted information the subconscious mind store in your mind space. Forgiving the three persons which is the main source of information that will result to guilt. Human life could be divided into three categories:

Formative and information gathering, from birth to 18 years of age. (dependant on parent and community).

18 years to 60 years independent to use the information gather during the formative age to develop the kind life style you wish to live.

60 to death dependant on other for care taking.

Knowing the important of forgiving your parent for whatever mistake they did during your formative age will help you to clean your mind of all negative emotion that has been store by your subconscious mind. Forgiving others will improved your human relation and even make you a reference for other to follow. Forgiving yourself will give you total control over yourself in your entire domain.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way, both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so how?

These ideas will help me personally to have control over my life. These ideas above have clear my inner eye to see the function of words as the main cause to all action. Understanding the God mind “super conscious Mind” has provided the opportunity for me to profoundly meditate on the relationship and function of the three minds. As the Bible put it “your body is a temple were God dwell” to interpreted means God live inside the human being not outside, knowing the different function of the subconscious mind, conscious mind and the super conscious mind, will help me to live a purposeful life and contribute to the create of a world free from all form of violence.

4. Quotes: Are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why they were important to you.

“Do what you can, with what you have, right where you are.”

Opportunities are available every were in the world, all that you need to do is to prepared yourself inwardly or setting goal to tap the available resource convert them into useful product. Use your time well by doing what you can, with what you have, right now where you are.

“Since 80 percent of the people around you are going nowhere, if you are not careful you will end up drifting with the crowd, following the followers, and going nowhere as well.”

Knowing the reason why 80 percent of my people are going nowhere in their life believing that someone, something, situation are responsible for their condition. All my dreams, hope, aspirations and ambitions, are dependent upon the ability and the willingness to set goal in my life. I can become a follower if I fail or ignore to set goal , plan to accomplish them.

“Every time you nose victim language;“I can’t,” or “I have to,” or “I’ll try, “or “I wish,” or “ I’m sorry,” or “Don’t blame me,” or “That’s not my fault;” you are reinforcing the negative emotion of guilt and driving it deeper I not your subconscious mind.”
