Bizimana Elie – Assessments

As a Man Thinketh
Assessment by Bizimana Elie (Rwanda)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

All things are headed, the header is master power , master power is the mind , mind is the thoughts. The author of “As a Man Thinketh” is trying to convey the idea of thoughts as the great weapon which pointing us to the main expected issues. The thoughts reflect our Vision and whom we are. This is being explained through-out different
evidences and the clarity of the book. The author provides his opinions as well as the expert. He told more about this where the main concepts have explained in their categories as well as the steps which shows more clearly determined thoughts. the author expressing the idea of how the living process would become most interesting and well felt by the people due to well engagement and good pattern of thinking in general.
And that this would be attained when we show the great characters of a transformation resident as well as being calm and having the leadership mind. The perspective is also required to improve our well being within the society, by the great thoughts we shall attain more. Within this ideal of having great and deep thinking which participate in our living process, I can add on by providing this statement like “no pain no gain.” The author tells more about how the thoughts can influence in circumstance change to reach on the expected vision wherever we are and whatever we do or need.

2. What were the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

i. The man is literally what s/he thinks, the character being the complete sum of all thoughts.

The people is often live in difficult life as their pattern of thinking is often un developed , and our mind. Involving in the resolution of different circumstances for a man’s own , most things may be possible or not due to the man’s thoughts. The people who have not visions in their life, this is total means they do not have well developed thoughts. As the author provides the most needed materials to make us feel satisfied within our dairy life
by deepening out our pattern of thinking. We always demands to be resulted by those things which are really useful to us, but some of us never take a moment to observe on what can be done in order to bring those expected life issues. In the book, “As a Man Thinketh” we are told to think deeply so that we achieve more and more.

This idea makes me to remember my responsibility as the master power of all my internal facts where I am lifted up to make personal reform in my life with giving external support to all possible world Residents by providing a global expected support as an active World volunteer. As I work as the self motivated person as well as every volunteer in the world , our activities and our support will determine whom we are in our thinking and in our internal attitudes. Here many people may raising up some comments as their opinions, but I am surely agreed with the author that the man is not his physical appearance only but also the internal attitudes such as thoughts and personal activities are his/ her constituents.

ii. The human is a growth by law and not a creation by artifice/ course and effect

Artifice the use of clever methods to trick some body, as the human the naturally made by the world creator as we all believe that we have been created naturally, this will always determine the ability of the man in any situation occurs. The cause and effect of circumstance are also influenced by those factors which may be internal or external factors, the internal facts would surely generated by the human thoughts and his pattern of thinking. Although the man may some time be affected by the external challenges which would be solved by the man’s personal mental potential abilities as well as the perspective self-support.

Greatly, the author tells more, but he mostly focus on the man’s thoughts as the great strong pillar which take part in the personal development. And also he tells about how the person can shift from one part to another by his well decision making due to self-control abilities. For instance, recently, in the most countries in the world, including Rwanda, there was no developed technology, do you think that there was
no communication tools in ancient world ? Yes of course, there was but it was special tools, and even today there is other special way which are some how different from recent ways. So this shows and explain well how a person is a growth by law and not by a creation artifice but he/she involving in the imitations of things as human innovations. So this tale idea is well understood.

iii. True and right choice application of thoughts

The thoughts as man’s power and man’s mind, some time can result into good or bad effects due to how was applied into the actions. The author in the book focused on how by the application of our mind thoughts in our dairy life will result in the manner that match to your patterns of thinking. This means when you engage your thoughts in well determined activities, you will reach to your dreams and if you engage in unplanned way, you will never gain any more. But when the thinking are controlled , its brings you better line to follow while you are planning to achieve some- thing in your process of getting progress. By this idea I gain more feelings and good thoughts of reinforcing my application of ideal in well format way so as getting good result of my application.

Mostly, when you look out in different sectors of activation, the main results gained by the owner of the activities will depend on their actual mental and physical potential abilities. Sometime this would occur due to the personal skills and experiences as well as developed technology by this technology. It doesn’t require natural of experience only but also by great application of our thoughts by engaging in research to invent many new innovations. Hence resulting into the provision of more valuable incomes.

iv. Being transformation

As well as possible, the people often make different decisions in the choice of methods being used in the life process . while taking those decisions there are also what they set in there mind , which will provide motivation to there feeling of activation. This is how their change would be determined as well as their feeling.

This change is likely to be found among some people in the society and the other do not. For those who can change there thoughts and feelings due to the resulted external and internal circumstances are said to be transformation people. Due to the book, transformation is usually possible by deep thinking and well application of the thoughts. This idea makes me to feel great with good attitudes of taking parts in the advises provisions which will raise the capacity of thinking in most world residents by helping them to be transformation while dealing with the world intentions.

v. Self-empowerment/reliance

In “As a Man Thinketh”the author tells about how by deep well thinking the man’s abilities to accomplish some thing would be raised and be demanded and competitive in the field of life. The thoughts influence in the provision of great feeling of being self – confidence and feeling of being more competitive among the others. Also self-empowerment would be full attained when we are applying our thoughts in good expected way by being transformation within our ideas and decisions.

From my round, one time I have faced with the difficult situation when I was walking across the street away from home, that problem was concerning with great conflict between street boy with the street cake trader where by the street boy was complaining with the street cake trader about the real cost of the sold cakes because the street boy had took unknown number of cakes which makes the trader to be confused, they started to fight until when the street boy broken the trader’ head by the great stone. In that moment the street boy runs away while the trader is highly bleeding, in additional to that, it was a special case because the trader was an elder women with by suggestion like 35 ages. After seeing that there is no any person around, I took the struggle myself. first of all I tried to empower my self by providing first support as well as care , then after that I called the second party after showing what I can as self –empowered person. So before failing we are supposed to try our best.

vi. Self-analysis/experience

This book contains most relevant points to be considered while we are analyzing to gain and to know something new. As have shown in the in the book , to analyze some thing require to be self confidence and having great and strong thinking in order to engage in the expected research. The research/ analysis due to the great thoughts would provide great skills and experiences about doing some thing.

vii. Calmness/Self-Control

The calmness of mind is one of the beautiful jewels of wisdom, the author said. Due to that we can add on this that those are the result of long and patient effort in self-control. The calm man having learned how to govern himself, knows how to adapt himself to others. The more tranquil a man becomes, the greater is his success, his influence, his power for good.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way, both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so, how?

As highly influenced by the ideas from this book , there are much possible lessons which I have gained while I was reading. Among all, I am mental influenced on how I can adapt my self by using my thoughts and great feelings to accomplish the expected issues as an expert. Most ideas like being transformation, confidentiality , resilience , calm and more others would be my most pillar which will help me to success in my activities together applying my thoughts in relevant valuable acts to provide a great significant contribution in the change of world’s politics/leadership , economy , education and well being in general.

4. Quotes: Are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why they were important to you.

“The human is a growth by law, and not a creation by artifice, and cause and effect is as
absolute and undeviating in the hidden realm of thought as in the world of visible and
material things. A noble and Godlike character is not a thing of favor or chance, but is
the natural result of continued effort in right thinking, the effect of long-cherished
association with Godlike thoughts. An ignoble and bestial character, by the same process,
is the result of the continued harboring of groveling thoughts. The human is made or unmade by him or her self; in the armory of thought he forges the weapons by which he destroys himself; he also fashions the tools with which he builds for himself heavenly mansions of joy and strength and peace. By the right choice and true application of thought, the human ascends to the Divine Perfection; by the abuse and wrong application of thought, he descends below the level of the beast. Between these two extremes are all the grades of character, and the human is their maker and master.”

“Only by much searching and mining, are gold and diamonds obtained, and man can find
every truth connected with his being, if he will dig deep into the mine of his soul; and that he is the maker of his character, the molder of his life, and the builder of his destiny, he may unerringly prove, if he will watch, control, and alter his thoughts, tracing their
effects upon himself, upon others, and upon his life and circumstances, linking cause and
effect by patient practice and investigation, and utilizing his every experience, even to the
most trivial, everyday occurrence, as a means of obtaining that knowledge of himself
which is Understanding, Wisdom, Power. In this direction, as in no other, is the law
absolute that He that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened; for
only by patience, practice, and ceaseless importunity can a man enter the Door of the
Temple of Knowledge.”

“So You will be what you will to be; Let failure find its false content in that poor word, environment, But spirit scorns it, and is free.”

“It masters time, it conquers space; It cowers that boastful trickster, Chance,
And bids the tyrant Circumstance Uncrown, and fill a servant’s place.”

“The human Will, that force unseen, The offspring of a deathless Soul,
Can hew a way to any goal, through walls of granite intervene.”

“Be not impatient in delays But wait as one who understands;
When spirit rises and commands the gods are ready to obey.”

“The dreamers are the saviors of the world. As the visible world is sustained by the
invisible, so men, through all their trials and sins and sordid vocations, are nourished by
the beautiful visions of their solitary dreamers. Humanity cannot forget its dreamers; it
cannot let their ideals fade and die; it lives in them; it knows them as they realities which
it shall one day see and know.”

“The calm man, having learned how to govern himself, knows how to adapt himself to
others; and they, in turn, reverence his spiritual strength, and feel that they can learn of
him and rely upon him.”

“The more tranquil a man becomes, the greater is his success, his influence, his power for
good. Even the ordinary trader will find his business prosperity increase as he develops a
greater self-control and equanimity, for people will always prefer to deal with a man
whose demeanor is strongly equable.”

Jonathan Livingston Seagull
Assessment by Bizimana Elie (Rwanda)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

Most world constituents are living things as well as non-Living things, this brings us an evidence to what we faced with in our dairy life. I surely say this as the result of my self-test as a scientist , this will also shows us the direction which we are slowly moving on. The author also conveying the ideal of how our living process in the community can direct us to the bright future. Due to the decision practiced together with self confidence and feeling of freedom with high potential perspective. As clarified in the book, there there were a flock/seagulls community with the determined residents whom suggested to be lead by the Jonathan Livingston Seagull later who took himself to engage in visionary attitudes of making research by practicing his thoughts wills together with self-confident facts. We can also focus on the general expected values as well as respect attitudes and leadership styles as our guides forwarding to the best future.

2. What were the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

i. Confidentiality/being competitive

As the author said, “when the seagull come back to the sea , the main forwarding was to lift up the breakfast like but the circumstance was there and also the seagull did not feel afraid because he waited till the boat ceased and then seagull come on with it beak to staining the food. This would show the abilities of the seagull to put in action his thinking without turning back even if the other seagull are not agreeing with him.
So as this determine the seagull’s potential to decide the possible decision, this will teach us on how we are supposed to have self-confidence and feeling much competitive in our dairy life.

ii. Experimenting/practicing

By having much thinking in our daily life as seagull in this book we are told to apply them into the actions in order to attain what we are willing to achieve.
By doing a self test, we will find the main result to be taken as the most use full in our daily activities and this would require much thinking as well as doing more practices.

iii. Decision making/commenting

In order the decision become right, first we need to be self motivated people as well as seagull in the book where he decided himself to continue doing his research even if his parent tried to refuse his ideas. Even if the people in the world are participator divided into categories, we all have to evaluate ourselves by making well developed decision making.
iv. Try and try research

This is the way of gather the researching experiences which you gain when you engage yourself in doing and trying to do something. You can make research as the result of your mind thoughts in order to know whatever beyond. But if we need to get more lets us take part in the self research as well as trying any more

v. Hope/targeting

It is better to think about some thing by having a future vision to direct you to what you need to achieve as the result of your person trying within the research. When we say hope we also think about the expected things in our community by evaluating our self with much self-empowerment by doing in the result of our mind thoughts.

vi. Assitence/ teaching responsibility

As the result of his research, Jonathan started to share what he had discovered to his community residences by teaching them the best new valuable innovations which will increase their standard of living. Sometimes we are faced by the problem of lacking full information about something but as the people living in the community
it will be better to provide some teaching support as volunteers who need to develop our world without being selfish.

vii. Cooperation and Friendship

Not only the assistance or teaching responsibility but also with the cooperation/friendship among us as have shown by the seagull community.
This cooperation would provide the well expected unity and peace with common understanding in the community activities like cooperative, trading; construction, education and so on. This also will provide the well interesting conditions.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way, both in your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so, how?

These ideas which I read in the book is the most motivational and great stimulation to my thoughts application by practicing and expressing my feeling into great visible things. While I was reading this book, I sow that having the confidence and self motivation, I will reach to my will due. Not only that because the cooperation and community assistance of the Jonathan Livingston Seagull makes me to be highly
experienced and high mentality of participating in world changes activities.

4. Quotes: Are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why they were important to you.

“Jonathan Livingston Seagull! Stand to Center! The Elder’s words sounded in a voice of
highest ceremony. Stand to Center meant only great shame or great honor. Stand to Center for Honor was the way the gulls’ foremost leaders were marked. Of course, he thought, the Breakfast Flock this morning; they saw the Breakthrough! But I want no honors. I have nowish to be leader. I want only to share what I’ve found, to show those horizons out ahead for us all. He stepped forward. Jonathan Livingston Seagull,” said the Elder, Stand to Center for Shame in the sight of your fellow gulls!”

“It felt like being hit with a board. His knees went weak, his feathers sagged, there was
roaring in his ears. Centered for shame? Impossible! The Breakthrough! They can’t
understand! They’re wrong, they’re wrong! For his reckless irresponsibility the solemn voice intoned, violating the dignity and tradition of the Gull Family.”

To be centered for shame meant that he would be cast out of gull society, banished to a
solitary life on the Far Cliffs these quotes above show how we must engage in any thing certainly as possible by standing to what will never brings us any kind of shame but providing faith and being good transparent body to any one else.

5. Is there anything in the book that you do not understand or are unclear about, or are there ideas which you disagree with and, if so, why?

Most ideas in this book, I saw that are meaningful and well understandable. but there is some included confusions but with their meaningful corrections. For Example:

“We’re not ready!” said Henry Calvin Gull. “We’re not welcome! We’re Outcast! We can’t force ourselves to go where we’re not welcome, can we?”

“We’re free to go where we wish and to be what we are,” Jonathan answered, and he lifted from the sand and turned east, toward the home grounds of the Flock.
There was brief anguish among his students, for it is the Law of the Flock that an Outcast
never returns, and the Law had not been broken once in ten thousand years. The Law said stay; Jonathan said go; and by now he was a mile across the water. If they waited much longer, he would reach a hostile Flock alone.”

6. Did the book contain exercises for the reader to complete? If so, did you complete all of the exercises and did you find them helpful?

The book does not contain exercises to be completed .

7. Was there anything you read in the book that you would like to comment on that was not covered in the previous questions? If so, please comment.

This book contains most relevant ideas as well as the keys to be pointed on to reach at the expected locality. As the ideas arranged , there is what I gained while I was reading. Among that I would like to comment on:

“We’re not ready!” said Henry Calvin Gull. “We’re not welcome! We’re Outcast! We can’t force ourselves to go where we’re not welcome, can we?”

“We’re free to go where we wish and to be what we are,” Jonathan answered, and he lifted from the sand and turned east, toward the home grounds of the Flock.
There was brief anguish among his students, for it is the Law of the Flock that an Outcast
never returns, and the Law had not been broken once in ten thousand years. The Law said stay; Jonathan said go; and by now he was a mile across the water. If they waited much longer, he would reach a hostile Flock alone.

“Well, we don’t have to obey the law if we’re not a part of the Flock, do we?” Fletcher said, rather self-consciously. “Besides, if there’s a fight we’ll be a lot more help there than here.” And so they flew in from the west that morning, eight of them in a double-diamond formation, wingtips almost overlapping. They came across the Flock’s Council Beach at a hundred thirty-five miles per hour, Jonathan in the lead. By this , there is some determined statements which looks like weakness to some community members , but I become pleasure with the great answers from the Jonathan Livingston which shows ones empowerment. And also in the common to us, I see that tomorrow will be better
if we try to express our thoughts into the actions.

I am Malala
Assessment by Elie Bizimana (Rwanda)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

The author in this book “I am Malala” conveys more and more about her life.
The author consciously stated all events in her early life especially the conformity of the education for young and adult girls as well as all human kind. She mostly determines the difficulties that faced her life and how she recovered and outcomes of all problems. She brought great inspiration to the world, especially the state leaders by advocating the education for girls to be able to prepare their future. For instance, Malala’s acts makes differences to today’s living style of the girls especially in the Education and wellbeing of some poorest families.

2. What were the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

i. Education for Girls

It was great interesting to reach out in this book where every one should do so as much as possible in order to provide significant contribution to the worlds’ people. I was reading the origin of the author’s idea and I found that the education for girls was unacceptable in almost countries in the world as well as in her home country. But she tried to change this situation as much as it is. She made complain together with her father who helped her to cross over the parts of the world. She never gives up even if the circumstance comes to her life. .As she accomplished her 1st session of inspiring the world powers to bring out the state of gender balance to improve the wellbeing of both girls and boys.

ii. Gender Balance.

Actually, it’s better to treat both different sexes equally. Recently, some countries or families in the world were under this bad ideology of separating the two children into unfair manner which would result into family conflict and child abuse. This condition where girls are ignored in some opportunities of valuable activities like education, playing, traveling, giving an ideal to the development of the family have been reduced as much as possible but should be abolished all over the world. Throughout the Malala’s campaign the world residents have changed and understood the human right as well as girl’s right and girl’s freedom.

iii. Human Right

Human right as the great pillar to the society development and good easier way of having welfare and wealthy which is always expected by the normal person. I use this word “normal person” to mean the person who didn’t affect in the brain or who doesn’t refuse being abided by the human right laws. When we say human right we should also think about human duties because some time we could confuse these two statements. Malaya’s activities contributed greatly to the human right especially girls freedom which makes the girls to have preparation of their brightest future.

iv. Good Leadership and Politics

Leadership and politics as the back of the world and chair of the country which takes large part in the change and transformation of the society. So, if the society fails throughout leadership and politics this automatically shows the stability of a country. Here by looking in the book, the author took part in the change of people especially advocating the leaders to initiate new system of treating all children the same with provision of equal chance of participating in certain activities.

v. Volunteering and Support

By committing yourself to do something better to some one else, you don’t only be appreciated by the people but also you will be blessed by the God. In this book, the author have been characterized by this attitudes and behavior of Being helpful to those who need helps together with kind-heart. She always wanted to be successful to her goals of supporting poorer especially the refugees who hadn’t any where to stay during the war. Malala established an organization called Malala fund to be the channel of all support provided to the people. She did this as the open minded person with great determination; however, self motivation was a pillar.

vi. Healthy and Development

It is some time difficult to evaluate the man’s activities which can affect the human life because we always be pleasured by involving in all valuable activities regardless to how it can brings dangerous to our life. One day, Malala have been shouted by The Taliban’s while she was about entering into the bus back to home. She becomes affected onto the head and directly driven to the hospital. The doctors started to keep caring her day to day until she becomes alive. This situation makes her thinking lots about her future but as sooner as possible she heard that she is about returning to her normal life. Within the world, without Healthy there is no life and without doctors the life will stay healthy as slow as possible. So, education should make the greatest changes as well as healthy changes to better condition. We should know that we always work because of good life, so without healthy there is no development within the society.

vii. Peace and Communication

We always need to live in peaceful life. We always need to live with the technology but peace and communication always goes hand in hand with the wealthy. Wealth concerns properties and money, so when the money is not available, some time peace will disappear and when technology disappears communication will be unexpected. This means that, in order the peace and effective communication to be possible in the society the people should working together to make the strongest partnership which will leads to peace and communication. Within the book, the author shows how she was supported by her parents and other people to achieve her tasks.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way both your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world and if so, how?
.
Personally, the greatest influences will be attained throughout these ideas above. But one thing that we should know is that the deepest thinking makes changes when it meets or joins with motivation. To have an idea doesn’t mean to achieve some thing new. And the main characteristic of the future expected leader is to have the widest vision and following strategies to reach on his/her goals as well as missions. Having ideas such as improving education, gender equality, human rights, leadership, health, peace and communication is the best way of starting to contribute to world development. I would like to use these ideas as the pillars to my journey of bringing changes to the world. Because they both support each other, I will do my best by achieving my goals peacefully and I hope that all will go well when I tried to cooperate with others where necessary and sharing the knowledge, experience to both sex without discrimination. Good leadership styles should be applied to maintain the welfare and wealthy within the country.

4. Quotes: Is there any statement which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why they were important to you.

“Every person regardless to his, her work should be responsible and focusing on the public expected things not owns emotional expectancy. We don’t need to do something over the rewards only but we should also volunteer to provide support.”

This is the primary good habit. It makes you more alert, more imaginative, more enthusiastic, and it increases your willpower. You should have one high, desirable, outstanding goal, and keep it ever before you. You can have many no conflicting goals which help you to reach your major definite goals. It is usual that people in certain place likely to involve or participate in many things mostly which wasn’t planned! Means without desire. But this should change. Because nothing better likely to result except falling in loss or losing your direction. Then you start regretting!

Please whenever and wherever you are for whatever surrounding you don’t do or intervene in stranger or unplanned things without paying attention. There’s number of important things but each should be done in real time. This will avoid you mismanagement and loss or regret in your life. Sit and set goals, make search on your purposes and find out more then this help to take good decisions.

ii. Cultivate creative vision and enthusiasm

Remember that controlled enthusiasm is your goal. You will want to be able to summon it at will or shut it off when it is not appropriate or might actually be dangerous.
Once you deepening your mind, your initiative in vision cultivation will be well as expected. Everybody has dreams and desire but some time become hinder to their development, this is because first pillar of thinking and planning for their future have ignored. Once you ignore your future plans your vision, desires, dreams will never be implemented.

I gained how my vision of future either dreams or desires should be placed in suitable conditions as planning for them with high enthusiasm and positive possibilities so that your expectations will be real and achievable. Have you discovered your vision? How are you dealing with it? Mentally, is your vision achievable, real and interesting? If not now, how are you going to make it suitable? It is hard and simple journey accordingly.

iii. Personal initiatives and self-discipline

You may have to force yourself at first to do things without being told to do them. But persistence will make it easier. This is a circular process: the more you exercise it, the more you have it. You are in comfortable situation! Wonderful! Have you started to implement or initiate some sample practices based on your mentality? This is very essential. We should understand all our surroundings and taking decision on how you are going to deal with valuable ones. Please the struggle is there but stay strong and be highly active. Then you will start to implement some expected issues which will open the doors for your journey. By doing them all, you must keep your self safe and maintain awareness of others in your area. Show good attitudes and behavior for all incoming to you. Respectively, recommend your ideas to the people. Don’t hesitate your self to ask for some thing helpfully.

iv. Fair operations and applied faith

Let your mind dwells on positive ideas and on clearing away all negative influences and fears. This takes self discipline. While in your activities you can strengthen your capability of operating. Let all people have comments on your activity or on your services. This will help you and others to evaluate more about your activity. Not only this because you are going to suffer if you delay replying for available bad situations around. Don’t hesitate to approach the experts in case of poor information. Fair treatment and quick clear response is the fact for your success. Implementation and invention is essential but good creative is more vital. You will need to generate innovations in your community but it will be successfully when you firstly based on the existing aspects. Do try to cooperate with all kinds of people in the society regarding to their dignity not to their income or wealth.

v. Team working and positive mental attitudes

The author of this book explains better how to inspire team doesn’t help team member only but you will gain more also. Many people especially those with poor life information think that being successfully requires working hard alone without informing others and they do this so that development will belong to them only and they think they are at the top. Totally, selfish doesn’t work. No matter how you prefer doing your activities but the main pillar for its successful is to assist or cooperate with others. Whenever your thinking is low, you are about getting almost nothing wherever you are.
Practice day to day your internal concerns to discover who you are. Develop your mental attitudes so that in difficulties you will engulf together all solutions to all situations.

vi. Healthy maintenance

Whatever you plan doing in your life, doesn’t go far in development only without considering your life. Without life, there is no survival. One can ask different between them but all should be noted. Better direction is that with good life conditions. Many people don’t look after themselves due to surroundings such as heat activities and high income jobs. But this is unexpectedly total self failure and incompetence otherwise.

vii. Budget your time and money

Please, before going on. Personally, what’s time? How is time related with money?
Actually, without time there is no money. Without money the life is difficult. Means, we need to conserve our time as well as conserving money. Before spending your time or money you firstly need to clarify why. Check whether your time or money is going to be spent for a definite purpose or valuable thing. You should know that once you lose your time for nothing you already lost a lot of money simultaneously. So, you must create a budget for all your expenses and you must use self discipline in sticking to it. I found that a strong and growing savings cushion is an important weapon in your fight against the fear of poverty. Whenever you gain at least little money you should save 2/5 of that income to grow your saving. For example, an employee earns $3 per day and he save 2×$3/5 which is equal to $1 or 2 per day. And he invests the remaining part in smaller business activity to earn profit as well as satisfying his needs. It is possible for all. Please try this out.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way both your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so, how?

Wonderful if I can say so. Today I can say that books, especially keys to success are making difference day by day to my life. This is also inspiring more at my 20 age by then and onwards. Keys to success’ main ideas above have found to be directorate to one’s journey of development. I have already inspired while reading this book and my skills about future growth increase so much if I can say so. I gained knowledge of how I can stay successfully in whatever planning or doing. Even my thinking capacity has doubled and planning abilities goes the same. I knew how better I can clarify my purposes.
Recently, I have ever faced by unsuccessfully situation in my life operations, and I found no additional support. By reading books I discovered solutions of my problems by changing negative attitudes to positive attitudes and operating using automatic mechanism based on my prioritized goals and plans as well as consciousness. I gain how to budget my time in my life. Means, no time to loose. The author states day hour’s division that should be used by people to maintain healthy as well Even if it requires much practice. Eight hours of sleeping, eight hours of working and eight hours of the rest.
But this hour’s division could not be practiced by every one because some time our daily activities become a trap for this. The one him/her Self should know that “being healthy is vital for our life”. So how are you going to manage your hours? Remember 24hrs of the day.

By crossing over this book contents I gained more about positive factors of Pleasing personality such as : maintaining positive mental attitudes, tolerance, alertness, common courtesy, a fondness for people, flexibility, tactfulness, personal magnetism, a pleasant tone of voice, control of facial expressions, sportsmanship, sincerity, a sense of humor, smiling, enthusiasm, control of temper and emotions, patience and proper dress.

4. Quotes: are there any statements which the author made that particularly got your attention? If so, please quote them and comment as to why they were important to you.

Budgeting your Money. Like time, money should be spent with a definite purpose in mind. You must create a budget for all your experiences and you must use self discipline in sticking to it. the rule is pay yourself first .”

“A strong and growing savings cushion is an important weapon in your fight against the fear of poverty.”
.
By this quote, I would like to inform that both money and time should be saved. How? You don’t need to spend much time or money in unplanned situations.

5. Is there anything in the book that you do not understand or are unclear about, or are there ideas which you disagree with and and if so why?

All principles have been explained clearly with examples. I agreed with all ideas.

6. Did the book contain exercises for the reader’s to complete? If so, did you complete all the exercises and did you find them helpful?

No exercises in this book, but I completed the space of comment provided after each principle.

7. Was there anything you read in the book that you would like to comment on that was not covered in the previous questions? If so, please comment.

I answered the previous questions but there is one thing that I want to recommend to you all readers. You need to discover the opportunities surroundings you via widening your mind and controlling your willpower.
The following are steps to strengthen your will as expressed in this book:
1. Actively ally yourself with other people who can help you attain your major purposes.
2. Develop your plan, drawing on all the members of your alliance for knowledge, ability and the power of their Faith.
3. Distance yourself from anyone and any circumstances that make you feel inferior.
4. Close the door on the unpleasant experiences of the past.
5. Surround yourself with every possible means of impressing your mind with the nature of your definite purpose.
6. Watch out that you don’t over inflate your ego.
Apart from the above steps of controlling willpower, I would like t comment on cosmic habit forces as explained in the book.
These are three essentials of cosmic habit forces
1. Plasticity, this means capability to change
2. Frequency of impression
3. Intensity of impression.
All of these above clarify better the self meaning of willpower and cosmic habit forces as well.

PsychoCybernetics
Assessment by Elie Bizimana (Rwanda)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

While reading this book, I was greatly in state of guessing to the next session. But one thing that results beyond my thoughts is totally different to what I was guessing.
It becomes stranger to my thinking but seems more effective. Within this book the author expressed more as shown in the answer. This most inspiring book is expressing the facts on how human life is structured by changes and transformations. This is to mean the life is wide loop containing pillars so that can be taken carefully and be well controlled as setting its direction. Here, some can be confused, but the most and famous to be undertaken is to be emotion by self enthusiasm control.

While reading this book, my mind was exposed to hearing the message at the first time as should be expected by every one who commits to read it. then as the author trying to deepening his idea my actual habit of practicing found to be well but not well enough. I found no body can perform more than ever without taking time to cross over the books as well. but I gained communication and control skills of one’s direction and how one’s thoughts should be deepened.

In this book tried to convey the idea of living in the life with direction of great enthusiasm, control and communication. I say this due to all views of this author where key pillars for keeping our mind development have explained as maintaining self image by control and brainstorming.

Self Pre-reading questions (requires to use your mind)
P1. What’s the difference between psychology and cybernetics?
P2. How do you commit to change the society?
P3. What are your strategies to transform your life?
After answering these questions you are freely to cross over.

2. What were the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

i. Being Self Controlled

Being controlled! By who? My/your self. The author says more about one’s life journey and he proved how to be developing requires a lot of strategies and plan. And that mind set is one of the pillars. I am saying this not as quoting but as author’s expression in wide range of ideas detailed in the book. Whatever you can think doing wherever you are no matter how condition is you need only to control you self.

Don’t panic please, just take care and control. This is an example, imagine that there is a situation in your living area and you are the community leader. Team of bandits attack your home and steal almost your kitchen tools and saloon materials, during night and you are still sleeping. After, bandits start to leave your home and one of them falls down and breaks off. Then you are awakened by loud sound out side. Think you directly call the guardians around and bandit is now caught, you also leave your house through out back in the kitchen and turn in saloon then all materials are stolen! What can you do if you are that leader? Please get this stupid reaction from that leader and then ask yourself what you could do.

ii. Get this reaction then comment on;

The leader was disappointed; he stepped off into a house and back with two knives in both hands. The guardians shout up with loud sound as guessed what wrong is on, the leader regardless surroundings comes toward the broken bandit and push in both knifes one in stomach other in Chester of bandit hence become death. by then guardians comes on to rescue the dead bleeding bandit, the leader with much angriness without regret comes again to fight with guardians as conspirators. He failed… Guardians call upon polices to a cross over the area to rescue.

The leader has particularly prisoner and his family struggling.
What do you get in the above case?
It may not make sense but surely you can gain a little or more accordingly.
You should up take the following:
1. The leader lacked self control abilities
2. The leader lacked leadership skills with no patient.
3. The leader lacked visionary attitudes
4. The leader lacked sympathy and inclusiveness attitudes.
What can you do to raise your control ability? So, what next the leader was missing? Down over. The leader was missing.

ii. Life direction and self image

As we pass many days, we face a lot in our continuous life. Greater situation you face more deepness our mind is. Having deepened mind means to have wide thoughts. Wide thoughts creates whom we are and whom we are reflect our future. We always set goals sometimes in unthinkable manner and we found to be resulted as wrong as we unexpected. The reason for this surprise results is due to poor mindset with no future expectancy and no life direction. It is known that without vision of the future, nothing significant will be attained. This is the problem of lacking self motivation with no self mission.

What is your vision? The author in this book explains how self image is the key to human personality and behavior. Do you think that personality have a face? Yes, personality it self have a face, and this is non physical face of personality which seems to be the real key to personality change.

iii. Unlocking the real personality
Who are you? Personally. What do you have? You will never get success without internal stimulation. your personality is like closed house owned by the boss, this means you should be self motivated and the key of your personality belongs to you , so you might be delaying some responsibilities but this is the time to recover all lost opportunities of you. This recovery together with your image and direction will put you up.

We can take simple example about this recovery and unlock, remember your childhood who told you to be whom you are? Simply, none. So individuals’ mental and spiritual concepts of picture of themselves, is the real key to personality and behavior.

iv. Imagination and life plans

Greatly! Suppose you are on the bank of between two closely river, and enemies apart shut two needles in your eyes, by then you become blind. What could you directly do to save your life against either your enemies or falling aside in flowing river suddenly?
Oh! What interesting question is this!!

Ones can answer as follow:
1. Sitting down directly 2. Making noise directly 3. Jumping aside over the river
So among the above answer, which would you rate more than another?
Answer no1 and no2 could make sense directly as the real solution… but the third one will be rated more. Please, these are not a mistake just think deeply and discover the reasons why the last choice is so suitable than other even if you don’t think so.
So, this is how imagination could be expressed. But to make imagination, you should make sure you have supportive and references. By doing likewise, nothing will be strange and difficulty for you to solve. Can you plan without imagination? Please try this out. Why he preferred jumping aside over river instead of sitting or making noise? This is simple just for imagination. You will find more about your key to better life, the most important psychological discovery of this century is discovery of “Self image”. Whether you realize it or not. This means the greatest tool to use is self imagination, research and good transformation.

v. Power of rational thinking and the power of deep desire

Rational thoughts, to be effective in changing belief and behavior must be accompanied by deep feeling and desire. Power of rational thought is consciously one of the success mechanisms together with deep feeling. But there is a situation where you see how operations are being done without consideration and enough control as well as no rejection or waiting for the missing issues just like the “unthinker.” This is by automatic mechanism which operates like a machine-unconscious mechanism or failure mechanism. This can be conscious when measuring of all issues to be generated to it occurred. This means to generate specific goal to deal with. Picture to yourself what you would like to be and have, and assume for the moment that such things might be possible. A rouse a deep desire for these things. Become enthusiastic about them. Dwell upon them-and keep going over them in your mind. Your present negative beliefs were formed by thoughts plus feelings. Generate enough emotion or deep feeling, and your new thoughts and ideas will cancel them out. If you will analyze this you will see that you are using a process you have often used before -worry!

The only difference is you change your goals from negative to positive. When you worry, you first of all picture some undesirable future outcomes, or goal, very vividly in your imagination. You use no effort or will power. But you keep – dwelling upon the end result. You keep thinking about it, dwelling upon it, picturing it to yourself as a possibility. You play with the idea that it “might happen.”

vi. Habit of happiness

What is the origin of your happiness? This is very important to know what stimulate your happiness. How can you relate your happiness with your pleasure? Don’t just pass these questions by casually. Happiness defined as state of mind in which our thinking is pleasant a good share of the time. Happiness is also a good Medicine for all. It’s native to the human mind. We think better, feel better, perform better and are healthier when we are happy.

For getting successfully accomplishment, we need to set effective plans and strategies. We can not plan while sad or disappointed and we can not operate clearly without plan and good thinking. And thinking occurs when set in good conditions fill of lack of problems, struggles. .. as well as happiness. So happiness is a big factor.

vii. Getting the winning feelings

How do you experience winning strategies in your life? Only using success mechanism and deep feeling desire you will reach on your desire. How to get that winning feelings?
Your automatic creative mechanism is teleological. That’s, it operates in terms of goals and end result. But there are some things which can help you to get your winning success, namely: Think in terms of possibilities, setting your machinery forces, gradualness success is secret, cultivating Faith and courage, don’t take counsel of your fear, and accept negative feeling as a challenge. Additionally, every person should have the following six desires and needs. The need for love, the need for security, the need for creative expression, the need for recognition, the need for New experiences, the need for self-esteem.

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way both your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world? if so, how?

This question is so helpful to all viewers of this assessment and so motivational.
Let me say this, I don’t have a special house to settle my wild animals that I own! How I am going to maintain they life? Do I have ones to support me? Do I have money to invest in them? What am I going to do? Am I going to throw them out? Don’t just pass these questions by casually. Please leave your response in your mind then related them with the views from this book explained below.
In order one to succeed, s/he should also expect and having big feelings and control. The way and methods of operating are very scared. But s/he needs to be well determined. Determination reflects one’s direction. Many ideas and motivations are expressed by the author in this book and in the previous question; I described seven engulfing ideas which is totally showing the book structure. By well goal setting and plan for future, these ideas will act as ones guideline in future growth planning. Without active mind with trial desire, the needs will never be attained. Self image and trial considerations are the facts.
I am already inspired. This is to strengthening my inspirations and increasing hopes for future desire. Surely, I felt sweet while reading and of course I actually decided to involve in valuable activities as much as I read more inspiring books like this.
But, personally I commit myself to initiate, invest, and strengthen all available opportunistic activities without trapped by surroundings.

Begin using it now by practicing the techniques in this chapter. By this expression from the book, I would like to strength the author’s actual text because I surely agree with him for the above quotes as well as other book constituents.”

“Dear readers, it is your session of knowing yourself. Who are you? What is your competitive advantage? What’s in your mind? What about your future? What about your SWOT analysis?”

Success through a Positive Mental Attitude
Assessment by Elie Bizimana (Rwanda)

1. What is the main idea that the author is trying to convey in the book?

While reading this book, I was greatly in state of guessing to the next session. But one thing that results beyond my thoughts is totally different to what I was guessing.
It becomes stranger to my thinking but seems more effective. Within this book the author expressed more as shown in the answer.

This book “Success through a Positive Mental Attitude” was so called after the previous book called “Keys to Success” by the same author Napoleon hill. This is because the name of this book is one of the principles for success mentioned in the previous book. This principle for success namely Success through a Positive Mental Attitude goes deeply about positive mental attitudes and contains more impressive message which directly make the readers to change more things in their life. The author gives clear understandable examples to show how a person can have positive mental attitudes.
Surely, after reading the previous book called “Keys to Success” I felt satisfied due to my recent limited understanding and analyzing level which changed after reading the next book. But after reading this book, I am ally surprised and excited because this book contains almost secret about maintenance of positive mental attitudes. By going deeply, I became a new one with creative vision and found to be mature than before in my mind. By then, I gained new skills of how I can think more and more over the available situations. And this made me to strengthen my future plans. As long as I inspired, I aimed to develop my philosophy and psychology capacity by making research to discover more than ever.

The author of this book used good arrangement of the book contents in five main parts with almost twenty two chapters. After crossing over them all, I became new one directly as I said. And I can say with high honor that my IIGL Director and her supportive individuals or organizations they do very impressive work to support the world residents with positive mental attitudes. Big thanks to them.
Self Pre-reading questions (requires to use your mind)
1. What do you do to reach your goals? Is it possible that you can share your way to success? If so, E-mail the IIGL director to share publicly your testimonies or visit the website and line down to choose student testimonial then submit.
2. Please test yourself to find out your success barriers
3. What are your strategies to transform your life? Serenity is a fact please, be serious
After answering these questions you are freely to cross over.

2. What were the seven ideas which were personally most important to you and why? List these seven ideas followed by an explanation after each one as to why it was important to you. Use personal examples from your own life.

i. The origin of the road to achievement
Here you need to ask yourself where the road to achievement begins. Simply, it will take short time to reach your desire when there are available and approachable really and virtually important living or dead person to strengthen your desire through their inspirations such as their past life, Books and background. You need to know historical background of whom you take as your role model to stimulate your positive mental attitudes. Don’t let your mental attitudes make you a has-been or repelling important facts to success. By then you will have the ability to change your world. You must know that definition of purpose is the starting point of all achievements. And you should discover the success born in you. You can change your world better if you practice them all seventeen principles for success. Try them out please.

ii. Be aware of fire mental bombshells for attacking your success

Heee! Strong one! I think this make changes in you, and makes sense in hearing and understanding. We always fight, and we mostly fight with our surroundings. These surroundings can be; real person, failure, sicknesses, situations, weakness, mental attitudes but negative, lack of support, lack access to opportunities, but that’s good to get problems in your journey even if some time affects badly our future. But you have to answer how you can get problems with positive mental attitudes. Actually, it is possible and helpfully. Because it act as negative catalysts which is going to stimulate strongly positive catalyst to resolve all existing circumstances. These are ten basic motives which inspire all human.

The desire for self preservation. The emotions of love. The emotions of fear. The emotions of sex. The desire for life after death. The desire for freedom of body and mind. The emotions of anger. The emotions of hate. The desire for recognition and self expression. The desire for material gain. Stay strong no matter how the problem will be ceased. But keep up trial of good job of your desire as much as you can do. Test yourself whether you have positive mental attitudes or not. Motive your self as well as supporting others simultaneously.

iii. Attract don’t repel wealth

Usually, we deserve or intend to be wealthier as well. But most time we are barriers to our wish and desire. How? It looks like impossible but surely it’s possible. Because once we don’t know how able we are, we are mostly exposed to the failures. In order the wealth to be attained the people should develop their positive mental attitudes and change negative to positive because always negative attitudes repel the wealth and positive attitudes attract the wealth. Once you develop your negative attitudes, you will eventually fail at all. But if you develop your creative vision with positive attitudes you will attain on your goals then you succeed.

iv. Finding satisfaction in whatever you do

It is expected by everyone to have well healthy, to feel happy, to feel terrific and to feel wealthy! So, what does this mean to you? I don’t think so much about this because surely you already know. So why are you on this level? It’s actually due to your mental attitudes. Mental attitudes makes the different here. Definitely good makes you enthusiastic. Really you are lucky. No matter what your activity maybe boss or employee; cooker, teacher or student, builder, doctor or nurse, manager, satisfaction is mental attitude. With reference to the story from the book, there are three important lessons that changes a lot in my life. Lesson one, the author explained what I expected the most because I already knew that mental attitude is a fact but I didn’t know better how my attitudes can be maintained, by then I discovered that mental attitudes can be controlled by the use of self motivators. Lesson two, I got that if I set goals, I am more appt to recognize things that will help me achieve it than if I don’t set goals. And the higher I set goals, the greater will be my achievements if I have positive mental attitudes. Lesson three, I gained that to succeed in anything, it is necessary to know the rules and understand how to apply them. It is necessary to engage in constructive thinking, study, learning and planning time with regularity. After believing these lessons, I found that to go in action is what I should try myself as much as I can do. So, I would like to tell you “assessment readers” again that satisfaction is mental attitude and please if you set a goal you should aim higher.

v. Raising your energy level and enjoying your good healthy and live longer

May be you ask these questions your self; 1. Who am I now? 2. Where am I? Who was me? Where was I? Why? And so on. You will get deeply with more answers to these questions and this will help you to determine your capacity in action. Based on your daily involvement you will also ask your self that; is it time to recharge your battery? what are the vitamins necessary for a healthy mind and healthy body? Then after discover your level you will work toward your satisfaction desire. After getting your success you will continually enjoy your life with continues development. Remember to use some facts as your success catalysts such as reading many inspiring books. The thing that I get completely is that “happiness begins at home.” By then you are what you think.

vi. Testing your own success quotient and awaken the sleeping giant within you.

Now it’s time to test your own success quotient…hmm, so what about your success quotient analysis? It’s like self check-up! Have you checked yourself? I asked myself this questions after reading this book contents. I found that this book is now with me in my journey to success. Success through a Positive Mental Attitudes urges you to use the powers of your conscious and subconscious mind to: seek the truth, motivate you to take constructive actions, cause you to strive to achieve the highest ideals you can conceive, consistent with good physical and mental health, living intelligently in your society, help you abstain from that which will cause unnecessary injury, start you from where you are and get you to where you want to be regardless of what you are or what you have been.
Please, stop and think for yourself.

vii. The amazing power of bibliography

By reading bible and other books, you will reach your dreams. Mostly for all Christians who believe In God, I hope that praying and practicing some bible’s expressions together with developed Positive mental attitudes the people will reach their desire. I actually believe in God and I pray for God before doing whatever. After crossing over the last chapter of this book, I found more helpful words or expressions or messages from the bible explaining better about living with positive mental attitudes. For instance,
In Proverbs 23:7 bible says “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”
In James 9:20 bible says “Faith without works is dead.”
In Romans 8:31 bible says “If God be for us, who can be against us?”
In 1Timothy 6:10 bible says “the love of money is the root of all evil.”

3. How will these ideas or lessons help you in a practical way both your daily personal life and in helping you to create a better world? If so, how?

As long as I told it to many people including youngsters, youths and older ones even if some of them haven’t any valuable thing they do, their mindset is to attain development. Actually, this is not a miraculous understanding for some people to have big desire with no initiatives.
