The Law of Attraction
Mwesigwa Enock Joseph (Uganda)
mwesigwajoseph@gmail.com

Below are some highlights from a recent assessment:

The Power of Positive Thinking: In my daily life, I’ve noticed that when I focus on positive thoughts, my outlook and experiences improve. By consciously choosing to dwell on what I want, rather than on what I fear, I attract opportunities that align with my goals. This helps me stay optimistic, even in challenging situations and encourages others to do the same, creating a more positive environment around me.

Vibrational Frequency: Being aware of my emotional and mental state has been transformative. I’ve learned that by cultivating feelings of joy, gratitude, and love, I naturally attract more of these experiences. This lesson has taught me to monitor my emotions closely and to actively raise my vibration, which not only benefits my personal well-being but also positively influences those around me.

Clarity of Desire: I’ve found that being clear about my goals is crucial. When I’m specific about what I want, I’m able to focus my energy and efforts more effectively. This clarity has helped me set more defined goals, both in my personal life and in contributing to larger causes, ensuring that my actions are purposeful and aligned with my desires.

The Use of Affirmations: Incorporating affirmations into my routine has helped me shift my mindset. By regularly affirming my goals, I reinforce my belief in them, which motivates me to take consistent action. This practice has been particularly useful in overcoming self-doubt, allowing me to approach challenges with greater confidence and resilience.

Letting Go of Resistance: I’ve realized the importance of releasing doubts and fears that hold me back. By practicing techniques like meditation and reframing negative beliefs, I’ve learned to reduce resistance, making it easier for me to manifest my desires. This approach not only benefits me but also encourages those around me to let go of their own limiting beliefs.

The Power of Visualization: Visualization has become a key tool in my personal development. By imagining my success vividly, I boost my confidence and stay motivated toward my goals. This technique has been particularly helpful in preparing for important events, allowing me to approach them with a sense of calm and assurance.

Taking Inspired Action: I’ve learned that while positive thinking and visualization are important, they must be accompanied by action. By paying attention to my intuition and taking steps that feel right, I create momentum toward my goals. This balance of thought and action has helped me achieve tangible results, both in my personal endeavors
and in my efforts to make a positive impact on the world.

A concept that I struggle to understand is the notion that we attract everything in our lives, both good and bad, through our thoughts. While I believe in the power of positive thinking and its impact on our experiences, the idea that all negative experiences are the result of our own thoughts can be difficult to accept. Life’s challenges often arise from external circumstances beyond our control, and attributing them solely to our mindset may oversimplify complex situations. Also, while the book encourages letting go of resistance and negative emotions, it doesn’t fully address how to deal with deep-seated emotional trauma or mental health issues that may not be easily resolved through positive thinking alone. This is an area where additional would be helpful.

What Others Are Saying

What Have You Learned? How Have You Changed?
Stephen Okot (Uganda)

During Level One and Two of IIGL, I have experienced profound personal and professional transformations through the rigorous curriculum provided. These books have equipped me with invaluable insights and practical strategies, enabling me to foster a positive mindset, clarify my purpose, develop effective habits, understand my strengths and weaknesses, and align my interests with my career path. Additionally, I have learned to harness the power of visualization, master my self-image, enhance my leadership skills, and cultivate compassionate communication. These learnings have culminated in a more empowered, resilient, and purpose-driven life.

Here are some of my key lessons I learned and changes I have undergone:

Shaping my Character and Life through Thoughts. Studying the various personal development principles in the IIGL curriculum has revolutionized my understanding of the relationship between thoughts and personal growth. I have learned that our thoughts not only shape our character but also dictate the course of our lives. This concept has deeply resonated with me, prompting a shift in how I approach my mental landscape. By recognizing that the quality of my thoughts directly influences my behaviors and, ultimately, my destiny, I have become increasingly committed to cultivating a positive mindset. This awareness has been empowering, urging me to take ownership of my thoughts and understand their profound implications.

Defining my Specific Goals. One of the most transformative changes in my journey toward personal and professional development has been the adoption of the principle of having a definite purpose. For example, by articulating a clear and specific goal, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of my ambitions and priorities. This clarity has enabled me to channel my efforts more efficiently, eliminating distractions and fostering a deep sense of commitment. With a well-defined purpose at the forefront, I find myself increasingly motivated to take consistent action toward my goals, knowing exactly where I am headed.

Prioritizing my Daily Tasks and Time Management. Incorporating essential habits has led to significant personal growth. The foundational habits have fundamentally reshaped how I prioritize daily tasks and manage my time. For example, by starting with the end in mind, I now approach my responsibilities with a clear focus on long-term outcomes, ensuring that my daily actions align with my overarching objectives. Additionally, the principle of prioritizing important tasks has taught me to differentiate between what is urgent and what is truly important, leading to better decision-making and a more intentional use of my time.

Strategic Self-Assessment. One significant takeaway from levels One & Two Study is the importance of leveraging personal strengths while addressing weaknesses strategically. The idea of conducting a self-assessment has helped me identify my inherent capabilities and how these can be aligned with my career choices. Through this process, I’ve gained a clearer understanding of my unique skill set and the environments in which I thrive. This insight has empowered me to make informed decisions on career moves, leading to a more satisfying and fulfilling professional life. By focusing on roles that play to my strengths, I have experienced greater engagement in my work.

Integrating Passions into my Daily Responsibilities. Emphasizing the critical link between personal interests and professional paths highlights that successful careers are often a product of this alignment. By following the guidance, I’ve made a conscious effort to integrate my passions into my daily responsibilities. This integration not only enhances my job satisfaction but also accelerates my career progression, as I am more motivated and energized to contribute in ways that matter to me.

Visualizing My Ideal Self. Before delving into these concepts, I often found myself constrained by self-doubt and a limited sense of what I could accomplish. However, through guided exercises, I have learned to visualize a more confident and capable version of myself. This mental rehearsal has translated into tangible changes in my behavior and attitude. I now approach challenges with a belief in my ability to overcome them, which has opened up new opportunities and successes in both my personal and professional life.

Make A Difference
Dream Team 22
Please join Dream Team 22 as our goal is to have 22 people contributing $22 per month. We understand that money is energy and that to sustain and build IIGL we need a lot of people pouring their energy into this endeavor on a regular basis. We also know that not everyone can afford to commit $22 a month – especially our students, who live in countries with economies in which this amount can be equal to a weeks’ salary. So we are offering two options for those who wish to become a part of the Dream Team. One can commit to a $22 a month contribution or to spending 22 seconds each day holding the vision of IIGL becoming financially sustainable by the end of 2024!

Please join the Dream Team and help us create an energetic foundation to support the transformational work of IIGL! You can really make a difference in the world by making a modest contribution of time or money. To make the $22 a month commitment or a one time donation, click the link below.
