Profile
My interest in the International Institute for Global Leadership (IIGL) arises from a longstanding commitment to education, personal development, ethical leadership, and service to others. I am particularly drawn to IIGL’s mission of developing high-integrity, heart-centered, and conscious leaders who are equipped to contribute positively to their communities and the wider world. I value the Institute’s emphasis on leadership as a process of personal transformation, self-awareness, learning, and responsible service rather than simply the acquisition of professional skills.

My academic and professional background has prepared me to engage meaningfully with this approach. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Education and hold graduate degrees in Education, Divinity, Philosophy, and Theological Studies, together with undergraduate degrees in Philosophy, Business Administration, and Arts. My academic interests bring together education, ethics, theology, philosophy, inclusion, human dignity, and social responsibility. Through my research and publications, I have explored issues including inclusive education, disability, ecological responsibility, migration, interfaith and intercultural pedagogy, and participatory approaches to Christian formation.

Professionally, I have worked as an educator and instructor in diverse learning environments. In my role as a Faculty/Instructor with Jesuit Worldwide Learning, I have taught global learners through online education, with particular experience in communication, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, collaborative learning, and learner-centered instruction. My previous teaching experiences in Canada, the United Arab Emirates and Nigeria have also exposed me to learners from different backgrounds and with diverse educational needs. These experiences have strengthened my belief that education can be a powerful means of developing confidence, understanding, responsibility, and meaningful participation in society.

I am interested in IIGL because its approach connects leadership development with inner growth and positive social contribution. I believe effective leadership begins with self-awareness, integrity, empathy, intellectual openness, and a willingness to serve. I hope to deepen these qualities through IIGL’s interdisciplinary and reflective curriculum while learning from participants whose experiences and perspectives come from different parts of the world. At the same time, I hope to contribute my own experience as an educator, researcher, theologian, philosopher, and online faculty member. I would welcome the opportunity to participate in a learning community where knowledge is connected with character, service, and practical action. I see IIGL as an opportunity not only to develop my own leadership capacity but also to become better equipped to encourage learning, inclusion, ethical reflection, and constructive change among the communities and learners I serve.
