Leadership

Leadership – A Different Perspective

Our interest is to produce heart-centered leaders who have discovered their destiny and purpose in life and who are committed to changing the world in a positive manner. This is the reason we begin our studies with the focus on personal development & empowerment. We believe that the old adage “Know Thyself” is the foundation of authentic leadership.

Truly great leaders — people like Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King & Nelson Mandala – to name but a few, are heart centered individuals who have discovered their destiny and purpose in life and who are committed to changing the world in a positive manner.

But there are also thousands of unknown men and women, past & present, who are not and never will be well known individuals. You find them everywhere; in every country, every profession, every race, culture and religion. They are those individuals who know that one person can make a difference in the world and that, together, we can take humanity and the planet to it’s next highest level of potential.

It is for these people, and people like yourself, that IIGL exists. In addition to passion, we need leadership tools. More importantly we need a solid inner foundation of knowing who we are, why we are here and what this is all about. In other words, to become “conscious.” To be authentic leaders, the house of skills and techniques must be built upon a foundation of personal empowerment.

This is what makes IIGL different. Leadership skills and techniques are a part of our curriculum of study, but not the only part. We begin, not with techniques, but with a “curriculum in consciousness;” with books that help us wrestle with the fundamentals of life and discover our true potential for Greatness. Our ultimate goal is to assist students in becoming consciously aware, high-integrity and heart-centered leaders in their communities and the world.
