Please describe your vision of a world that works for everyone.

A world that works for everyone is a world free from corruption, and all people are treated equally no matter their status and position, in the world today we have seen other people being treated badly because they do not speak the same language, people have been discriminated because of their color and region of affiliations, we need to be all equal because we are one people with the same blood color, a world that works for everyone whereby opportunities are given without looking at your background or who you know but through merits we are all equal in the eyes of the Lord so we have to treat each other with out most respect and be on another’s keeper.

What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today?

Most pressing issues in the world is deforestation which is causing global warming, we have destroyed the forest, the natural trees which could hold our soil firming, and attract rains, today the world is coming to an end, we do see land slides killing people, also due to greedy people have sold even the reserved places for world animals and this cause a lot of danger the world animals at some point have been seen in our home compounds killing people and destroying properties, we cut trees and we do not plant, the land remains on covered and when it rains we experience soil erosion, that is why we have less production in terms of food, and causing food issues, people do not have food because of our own mistakes, we have also seen people even building houses on a periphery of the river which cause death when it rains, we need to be enivornmental friendly, we used to have rains and high production but due to human cause we no longer have rains or if it rains it is catastrophic and kills people and destroy properties.

How do you feel these problems could best be solved?

This problem can be solved by strict measures being in place, if someone is found cutting trees he should have a permit to allow him do so and be compelled to plant more cut one plant three, so that we can keep our environment safe and ever green, also those who grab lands and build there we need to reserve our natural forests and land that can be of use for wild animals, the people who grab the land that is meant for natural conservation should be arrested and the land given back to the community, our drainage system should be well maintained so that we do not have such things like land slides, houses being carried away when it rains, people also should be advised not to build near the water areas, there should be a law that makes the water areas be reserved and not interfered with, we should have a day national day for people to plant trees and check areas affected to be monitored so that we keep our world ever green, by irrigation and when it rains we need to have a mechanism of water storage to be used during dry seasons.

Profile

I often think back to my childhood and when any and everyone asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” I often answered with the obvious childhood career fantasies, just to sound appeasing and come off as a young, career-oriented pre-teen. A lawyer; a doctor, a pilot.

Then my answers were more specific by the time I reached high school. A businessman.

The truth is, after my first two years in college I didn’t know what I wanted to do in life. All I knew is that I did not want to teach, to be a doctor, or be stuck in a laboratory somewhere. Make no mistake, all are fulfilling careers when you are committed to the job. If you aren’t committed, do not waste your time.

My life has comprised of many roles and vastly different sectors of business, but I always found myself able to adapt because I saw the common role I was hired for: customer service.

Many of us have been chasing the dream since we were in college, while others have been chasing the dream since we could walk. We have witnessed our parents, grandparents, relatives, and friends struggle throughout a greater part of our lives, often asking ourselves, “When will they catch a big break?”

The younger generation has taught us older hustlers not to wait for the moment, but to continually seize the day. With so many resources at one’s disposal, succeeding is only left to us. What is your vision? Where do you see yourself in the next one, two, five, or ten years? Have you given your future any thought?

We harbor the thought that we do not want to struggle like our family and friends, and we end up chasing our own dreams. By this time, we often ask, “When will I catch a big break?”

“Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe.”

I believed in business, because the fastest way to make money is to sell something, or find a solution to people and they will pay, and that was my turning point in business, I am a married man with three children one boy and two girls, my business career made me who I am today, you will go no wrong with food industries people have to eat with or without money.  I am in the food business whereby I supply food stuffs to the supermarkets and wholesale shops, it is a business that I love so much.

I could like to participate in this program so that  can be empowered with new skills of leadership, also it will help me network with different people from the world, and create exposure to me, by socializing and discussing with like minded people, it will help me transform my society from an informed information, this will also help me know how to take charge in my family, how to lead it, positively and have a well balanced family, through this program I will be able to share knowledge to my community and church members when leadership crisis occur, I will be part of the solution not part of the problem, it will be a stepping stone to better community in my area.
