Please describe your vision of a world that works for everyone.
My vision of a world that will work for everyone is a place where there is integrity, no injustice, racism and religious differences. A world where the rich and poor will see themselves as equal creatures of God. A place where people will do their work or carry out their delegations accordingly without giving or taking bribes. A world of no corruption.
What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today?
In the world today, there is insecurity, inequality, racism, corruption, injustice, wars, famine and hunger, earthquakes, flood and political tussles. For example, in my country Nigeria, the problems we are facing currently ranges from Boko Haram terrorism, kidnappings, several killings, bombings, destruction of lives and properties, avengers of different kinds. People who were used for political aim or the other coming to say they are not settled, resulting to so many killings and kidnappings to make the states inhabitable. Avengers claiming their rights where government and companies failed in their corporate social responsibilities. In summary, insecurity is the main problem in the world today. Because it made people to flee their homes, working places, farms causing over population and hunger in the places, they go. For instance, in Nigeria, there are Internally Displaced Persons camps which are congested.
How do you feel these problems could best be solved?
I strongly believe that most of the problems that we have in the world today is as a result of bad or poor up-bringing, influence from peers, interest in acquisition of wealth which may lead one to being able and to do anything to any length to gain wealth. The word of God said that we should train up a child in the way he or she should go, so, if we want our children to be responsible, good citizens that will not join any bad group or terrorisms group that cause insecurity in the world today, we should bring them up in accordance with the word of God. Secondly, putting our hope and trust in God that He is the author and finisher of our faith, in whom all things are possible, will help us to love one another as we love ourselves, we will not bomb or kill one another.
Profile
Nkemakolam Oluebere Francisca is a very simple person from Ikwuano Abia State, in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria. Born on December 24, 1985 to Mr. and Mrs. Nkemakolam Benjamin Uwaga. Being the third child and the last girl among five children. Starting life was not so juicy due to that our father married very late and had us in his very old age, surviving through minor jobs and hard labor. Our parents were able to see us through primary and secondary school levels. At a later age, my had to go leaving us with our mother.
I have always dreamed big and looked beyond the present condition of my family that I was born into being my quest for greatness and attainment of a higher level, I agreed to go and stay a different family where I learned what life was all about, where I met with graduates and people that made it in life; this went a long way to shape my understanding of life. All these motivated me to go ahead to say that I want to attend a higher institution to acquire more knowledge. A graduate of marketing from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike in Abia state of Nigeria. Being sponsored by a Good Samaritan throughout my university days. I have a good knowledge of home management, office administration and clerical duties. Also, a day will come when I will go higher in my educational pursuit. While in school, I attend a peace and conflict resolution studies and workshop, also passed my exam on it.
A lover of Jesus Christ and a Christian. I believe with God all things are possible. I have the heart to do good to people even when I may not be able to get anything back from them or when they pay me back with evil. With this God has always been merciful to me.
After graduation I have worked with a micro-finance, GSM garage and a supermarket all in search of greener pasture and making ends meet. Currently working as litigation secretary in a law firm, where I’ve gotten knowledge and experience of court filings and other legal work.
I have a dream of bringing my family to limelight, helping the needy around me, help to wipe away tears from someone’s eyes and put up a smile on it. I dream of a world of peace and equity that God make it possible one. A world where only good minded leaders will lead and decide what will happen. And not corrupt people coming to sit on others and deciding their fate. A world that is also free from sicknesses and hardship. Where a graduate will gain employment immediate after graduation be it from a high school or college. I have not travelled much but I love travelling, I also love watching cartoons like Tom and Jerry and any other one that interests me. I love reading motivational books, watching comedies and listening to God’s words. I love cooking and meeting people and also making them happy.
