For example, I used to dwell on the negative thought of my stuttering for a long time how it won’t make me amount for anything in life which affected my confident, made me anti social and withdrawn from people until I made a personal effort to start thinking positive thoughts and I went on to graduate one of the best student in my class.

ii. Circumstances Reflect Inner States

This idea is very personally to me because it made me to understand that my thought is a mirror to my outer circumstances.

For example: Appling for jobs become an issue for me after graduating from school because I was scared of interviews, the thought of stammering in a panel didn’t let me apply for Jobs but when I broke the negative thought pattern even though I prepared more than most people due to the fact that I stammered, I later discovered that it was all in my head interviews are but walkway for me.

v. The Law of Cause and Effect in Thought: The idea behind this actually made me realize that good thoughts lead to positive outcome while Bad thoughts lead to negative outcome. Outcome good or bad is as a result of our thoughts.

For example, recently before reading this books I lost my job and due to the fact that I couldn’t see a way out of anything I fell into depression for weeks, my heart was heavy, I was not sleeping properly because of negative thoughts and holding on to the past, when I started reading the book I realized my thoughts is directly proportional to how I feel and I started thinking happy thoughts and gradually came out of depression and even got many interviews.

Every thought is a seed that when nurture turned into a reality, because your thought over time becomes your action and your actions becomes your character and inturn becomes who you are.

For example, I’ve always continuosly think about majoring in renewable energy as an electrical engineer, over time this thought made me to take action by taking courses and studying more materials in the renewable sector and today I major fully in the renewable aspect of electrical engineering.

vii. Serenity as a Result of Mastery of Thought: inner peace and calmness comes from mastering and controlling our thoughts.

For example, when I fall into depression as an example I was only able to come out of it even thought I’m still working on it by been able to control my thoughts, continuous learning the mastering of my thought to be able to have positive thought about life and myself.
