Please describe your vision of a world that works for everyone.
My vision for a World that works for everyone is there should be equal opportunity or distribution for everyone to acquire education. World free of corruption and hatred.
What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today?
I see insincerity, unlawfulness all over the places. I see people pretending to be leaders but they lack all a takes to be a leader. We have good leader crisis in the world, among the world leaders maybe only 20% will be a real leaders with vision.
How do you feel these problems could best be solved?
One of the solutions is what the IIGL program is about training those who wants to be a leader. Many people assume leadership because of their riches but they lack the ability to served. In my country we have all the resources but our leaders are not able to equally distribute wealth to everyone
Profile
I, Edward S. Miaway, Sr., am a devoted professional with a strong background in Beekeeping /apiculture and agripreneurship. I hold a bachelor degree, in general Agriculture from the Liberia International Christian College (LICC). I have developed a solid foundation in honey production, adding value to local agriculture produce. I am also an alumnus of several programs or fellowship, including the Mandela Washington Fellowship, the One Million Leaders Africa, and Jim Leech Mastercard Foundation Fellowship. Over the past five years, I have gained valuable experience working with both profit and non for profit organizations, like the Jungle Bees Product service Center and the Feed My future organizations, where I have successfully trained bees farmers to become champion of income generators, connected farmers to other training opportunities with some projects in the community. Passionate about making the future holders prepare to take full control, as a result I have consistently pushed kids education with support and advocacy for a conducive environment for learning most especially in the rural sector, I continually seek to expand my knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities that keep his dream fulfilled.
Outside of professional activities, I am also committed to serving as an agent of change in the community where I live. In free time, I enjoy teaching and having dialogue with young people to motivate them into making the change that the communities deserve. With a strong belief in the value of lifelong learning, I am excited about future opportunities to contribute massively to making Liberia a better place for all people regardless of their status. I am a young leader who throughout my life had opportunities to lead people. I have always aspired to learn and be equipped for tomorrow and today but finance has been my challenge. I believe this program will equip me to reach my full potential.
