Please describe your vision of a world that works for everyone.
A world that works for everyone is a world where a good number of people who decide to do things right in their specific society, regardless of their field of endeavor come together as a community to give their services to their society. That is, a doctor who decides to be a doctor that practices medicine right and a lawyer who have made same decision with a politician, engineer, teacher, law enforcement agent, et al come together to give their collective best to their society. That’s my ideal world that works for everyone.
In addition to this, a world that works for everyone is one where all our systems are alive and functional. Where power is exerted with the right jurisdiction and checks. In this world, the average person has their basic needs met or are on an upward spiral towards getting them met, having this assurance that the system works in their favour.
If there is any other thing to add, I’d say it’s a world where the golden rule is followed “love God first and constant, then man next and constant.”
What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today?
From my perspective and from the context of my environment, the most pressing problem facing the world today is the fact that most people find themselves in environments that may either keep one stagnant or fights to pull one down. If the environment I find myself is one that I must engage in one fraudulent activity or the other before I can get my basic needs met or be tagged rich, it would pose a challenge to anyone who wants to get rich the right way. So there is an environment problem that creates a wrong culture which in turn makes people with the wrong mindset who would later become terrible models to younger ones coming up. And this leads to a downward spiral of decadence, poverty, crime and all kinds of negative vices.
How do you feel these problems could best be solved?
The best way to solve this is to import right models from other societies who have gotten it right. I don’t believe that everyone is doing it wrongly, so we pattern others who have and are still doing it right.
However, our emphasis should be on the younger generations. This is because, it is harder to reshape an already malformed mindset than to shape a fresh one.
In essence, the younger the more impressionable. As these young ones begin to see the right standards they automatically begin to judge themselves by those better standards. Then, that which is sown inside begins to reflect in their outward environment. And the environment begins to change to become more conducive to positive changes. This creates an upward spiral towards getting the ideal world that works for everyone.
Profile
I am a leadership research and development coach who trains young leaders and equips them with the required knowledge, tools, and environment that helps them foster positive impacts on the factors that govern their social, economic, religious, political, business, and organizational environment. We do so using a truth-based best-practice approach gathered from holistic and empirical research into leadership, relationships, communication, business, and wealth generation.
On a personal note I am a Christian and in my late twenties. From the eastern parts of Nigeria. I grew up not having the best of opportunities however attended the formal education system in my side of the world from primary through university studying mechanical Engineering in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN (certificate in view).
I discovered my purpose at the early stage of my university days. Knowing I have the flare and gifting through public speaking and relationships to influence and shape the minds of those who listen, I stated a firm called the Miracle of Men (TMM) to share my knowledge on matters related to leadership, relationships, communication and wealth creation. With this, we’ve been able to reach young minds and shape them as best as we could. The said organization is currently transitioning into a leadership research and development firm to be more effective in our reach.
I want to be properly equipped with the right knowledge, tools and environment to help me become positive change in my environment. I know that leadership is a major challenge in our society so I plan to provide solutions that would be relevant in tackling these problems. Finally, with all the ambitions to be and do better, to help and create change if I’m not properly taught systematically and holistically, I wouldn’t amount to much.
Lastly and most important of all, we believe in God first and constant and man next and constant.
