Please describe your vision of a world that works for everyone.
Every person requires knowledge to management their life irrespective of their status in society. A enlightened person is able to secure their interests.
The women and youth for instance are disadvantaged due to lack of empowerment in matters literacy. If we balanced the interest of all including the marginalized groups then we are able to have a population that pulls together towards self development.
Making informed choices is a keep components of a good quality of life.
To e other aspect is integrity. With integrity leaders and those being led are able to consider the interest of all. The population is not unnecessarily burdened and each earns their keep. There are equal opportunities that are accessible and equitably distributed. Efforts and innovations are recognized and rewarded. There is no nepotism and or favoritism on any basis and thus all get their rightful share of opportunities contributing to the development goals.
Leaders should create systems and in a country like Kenya adhere to national values and accountability mechanisms so that the vision of the society at self development can be achieved. No one should rely on handout when opportunities are made equally, when everyone understands their place and responsibility to each other.
What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today?
Corruption this creates inequality of resources and disadvantaging others so that basic facilities are only available to few. Resources do not trickle down. Social classes are enhanced and inequalities in accessing food, health care, education, employment, farming tools and materials, healthcare and other resources is a privileged few.
Technological developments
Health care is a major problem due to emerging trends in diseases. Due to low economic status most of the population are not able to access basic treatment both preventive, curative and palliative. Families and communities are adversely affected as they come together to support treatment especially for chronic deseases like cancer. Children are born out of hospital and get challenges due to lack of professional assistance. Mothers and children due during child birth. Persons living with disabilities struggle more as they cannot access basic facilities.
Poverty and Unequal distribution of resources affect economic opportunities and thus access to basic needs due to geographic placements and purchasing power. There are no equal opportunities to access schools, hospitals, irrigation water, roads and electricity, hospitals and markets for produce generated
Low literacy levels are low for most of the population due to various factors such as historical positioning, war and lack of exposure. The communities are not empowered to afford basics like uniforms, books, bags, shoes, meals and learning materials to access meaningful education. Girls cannot afford sanitary towels and stay away from school. Other children stay away to assist with subsistence crop and livestock farming to support basic supplies like food and medicines.
War and violence disputes all activities of daily living and leads to a lot of destruction. Some of the wars are perpetuated by egos and not conflict resolution. Life’s are disrupted with a degree of permanency for those surviving. Families and communities lose breadwinners and are not able to recover finding themselves displaced to abject poverty. They can no longer continue usual employment and rely on handouts. They have no or limited access to basic amenities.
Climate change affects health and food production. The adverse climate changes come with water, air and soil pollution and environmental changes that affect our water quality and capacity of the land to bear this food insecurity, diseases and generally poor health of the population. Weather patterns changes and so does the crop productions seasons especially for areas relying on rain fed agriculture. Roads, homes and other installations are damaged.
Gender based Violence is a big concern affecting all genders but mostly women and girls due to low empowerment. This results in them falling back in life. There is a lot of embarrassment, teen pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, mental health challenges, dropping out of school and concentrating on brining up children born from the abuse as opposed to concentrating on school, personal, social and economic empowerment. These survivors are not to attain their maximum potential.
How do you feel these problems could best be solved?
Better accountability systems will cap resources witnesses and nub corruption so that those involved return back properties, account and restore what is lost. We are able to measure outputs and directs resources to where they are needed most to foster development. Those who flout laws and regulations are brought to book to ensure deterrence.
Adherence to Constitutional and legal principles to ensure all players act within agreed principles including transparency, accountability, concern for all and public participation. No one is left behind and all interests are secured.
Better education system to empower the populace with expertise in various fields that contribute to a better world.
Equitable Budgeting and Resources allocation to minimize wastage and ensure value for money so that all are facilitated to earn their keep and contribute to the economy.
Justice system ensure prosecution of offenders including in economic and socio-political and war crimes. Maintenance of law and order ensure pple can work, do business and live in peace. Live and property is protected, freedoms and liberties are protected.
Community empowerment initiatives to ensure the people are a less to access and exploit available opportunities for growth and economic development as well as deal with emerging issues.
Dealing with mental health to ensure productive propositions.

I guide a lot on local initiatives towards dispute resolutions mechanisms both formal and informal including court annexed mediation and alternative justice system. It is my responsibility to ensure coordination and response to queries thus handling a large portfolio.
How I carry myself and come out to other actors in the justice sector starting with the justice seeker is a key component to working of the systems and kind of partnerships to ensure access to justice for all.
We are also implementing the blue print strategic agenda christened social transformation through access to justice which encompasses the justice seeker in and out of court, inspiring and motivating staff, deepening partnerships, stakeholder engagement, accountability and general administration including financial management and reporting.
My leadership skills need constant review and updating to stay up to the task. I welcome this opportunity towards self development.
