Anastasia Elebiju
Nigeria
I am a dedicated educator, psychologist and social impact advocate with extensive experience in child behavior management, special education and community development. Born on August 29, 1989, in Nigeria, I hold a Bachelor of Psychology from Benue State University and built a career focused on supporting children with special educational needs, behavioral challenges and vulnerable populations.
Currently, I work as a Special Educational Needs Teacher at Spring Hall British School, where I provide tailored instruction and program planning for children with disabilities, including ADHD and emotional disorders. Beyond education, I have contributed to humanitarian efforts, working as a Monitoring and Evaluation Volunteer Officer at Jireh Doo Foundation, where I collected and analyzed data on displaced persons in Benue State. I also held administrative and social service roles at the Federal Ministry of Labor and Productivity.
I am a leader and changemaker; the 37th IIGL graduate and I also serve as a Social Media Coordinator for the Institute, using digital platforms to enhance outreach and engagement. With my expertise in mental health and psychology, education and leadership, I am eager to further my impact through various learning pathways, where I hope to refine my skills in mental health.
