Please describe your vision of a world that works for everyone.

My vision of a world that works for everyone is one where equity, empathy, and opportunity are the foundation of society. A world where diversity is celebrated, resources are fairly distributed, and every individual has access to quality education, healthcare, and a safe environment that enables people to live with dignity, pursue their dreams, and contribute their unique strengths to the greater good.

What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today?

Inequality, which is not just of income, but of opportunity, education and health which traps people and wastes potential. Unequal access to quality education and healthcare keeps communities from thriving.

How do you feel these problems could best be solved?

I believe these problems are best solved through a mix of thoughtful public policy, community-led action, and sustained investment in people. First, governments must prioritize equitable funding for public education and universal primary healthcare. Second, expand access to quality learning and training through scholarships, school infrastructure, teacher training, and digital connectivity so young people can compete in a changing economy. Third, strengthen primary care and preventive services, invest in community health workers, and remove financial barriers to treatment.

Profile

I am a dedicated and purpose-driven nursing professional with a strong foundation in clinical practice, public health, and research. I hold a Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc) and professional registrations as a Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RM), and Registered Public Health Nurse (RPHN).

I would like to participate in the Institute for Global Leadership program because it offers a unique platform to develop my leadership potential, engage with diverse perspectives, and gain practical skills for driving positive change. I am eager to learn from experienced mentors, collaborate with global peers, and apply the insights gained to contribute meaningfully to my community and future career.
