A world of peace where people are motivated to go all miles in supporting one another. Where individual sees the next Man as very important to him and he is willing to offer support to guarantee peaceful coexistence
What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today?
The world today lacks transformational leaders who are not selfish but who wants to offer their best to ensure we have a peaceful world. Corruptions allegations all over the world is an indication that we now have selfish people who never care about the next man
How do you feel these problems could best be solved?
This problem can be solved by coaching leaders and building people with the right mindset. It is also important to note that the trained leaders must also exhibit the characteristic they want to see in people by being a role model to the young generation. The major way is catching them young and changing the narration of how leaders must behave in society. It is also important that values must be created and preached. Communities must demand these values from the way we live.
I am Aderemi Oluwasogo Adewoye, a Nigerian presently working as the Site Director for a Multinational beverage company. I started off as a Trainee Engineer in a Global chemical company and I gained insight into leadership as a young Engineer by the virtue of the fact that I realized that there is always something different between two different managers who achieve result and the one that finds it difficult to achieve result through people. I discovered the difference is about leadership. I therefore started by reading so many books on how to improve on my leadership and I have deployed most of the learning and I can see massive development in my career and growth as an individual. I am passionate about developing people and creating a peaceful world where people can co-exist together. I am versatile in Managing Operation and have delivered some enviable results in different organizations across West, South and East Africa. I am an expert in Turning a poor performing team into a Winning Team and creating stability even after my exit. “Systems should work either with me or without me,” is my regular saying. I have demonstrated competencies in Plant Management, Budgeting and Control and Maintenance strategy deployment. I have experience in Manufacturing Excellence deployment using Six Sigma tools, a TPM experts. Also, Bottle neck elimination in Operations, OEE improvement via Current state diagnosis; Future state creation and Gap analysis yield improvement Quality, Safety and Environment. I have demonstrated ability to motivate teams to deliver big for organizations in the various organizations I have worked for my objectives anywhere I have worked is to create and add value, getting people to deliver at their full potential. I love to see people grow into their full potential and this I have demonstrated in various positions I have held.
