What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today? The world is navigating an “age of competition” where rising nationalism and shifting alliances are weakening international cooperation. This creates massive instability, hampers collective action, and makes addressing systemic crises much harder.

They include severe geo-economic confrontation, the accelerating impacts of climate change, and the pervasive threat of misinformation. Resolving these issues requires global collaboration, yet the multilateral system is currently under immense strain
The spread of misinformation alongside deep fake technology heavily influences societal polarization and erodes public trust. This damages democratic processes and makes it difficult for societies to agree on objective facts to solve local and global problems
How do you feel these problems could best be solved?
Solving interconnected global challenges like climate change, poverty, and conflict requires a shift from reactionary responses to systemic, localized, and collaborative action. By prioritizing grassroots resilience, empowering local communities with sustainable resources, and embracing multilateral cooperation, the international community can foster equitable development for everyone. Effectively tackling these issues hinges on addressing the specific, interconnected realities on the ground: Multidimensional Support: Poverty and climate change disproportionately impact the most vulnerable populations. Holistic strategies that prioritize social protection, healthcare, and education are proven to be highly effective. Grassroots Resilience: Rather than imposing top-down policies without community context, solutions should empower local innovators. Investing in community-led adaptation strategies and local climate resilience ensures immediate, relevant impacts. Multilateral Cooperation: Global problems are inherently transnational.
