What makes IIGL stand out from the others is that it empowers individuals to empower themselves to grow and evolve in ways that then have a profound and positive impact on others. IIGL gifts its students (most from underdeveloped countries) with a self-directed, no-cost course of study via books on leadership, philosophy, manifestation, self-awareness, intellectual and spiritual growth, and more. As part of the program, students create projects in their communities utilizing what they have learned to benefit others. These projects share knowledge and skills, help feed community members, help others start their own small businesses, and support the empowerment and evolution of others in a wide variety of ways. I have witnessed this time and again! Dweck, Ph.D., discovered a simple but groundbreaking idea: the power of mindset. In this brilliant book, she shows how success in school, work, sports, the arts, and almost every area of human endeavor can be dramatically influenced by how we think about our talents and abilities. People with a fixed mindset; those who believe that abilities are fixed are less likely to flourish than those with a growth mindset; those who believe that abilities can be developed. Mindset reveals how great parents, teachers, managers, and athletes can put this idea to use to foster outstanding accomplishment. In this edition, Dweck offers new insights into her now famous and broadly embraced concept. She introduces a phenomenon she calls false growth mindset and guides people toward adopting a deeper, truer growth mindset. She also expands the mindset concept beyond the individual, applying it to the cultures of groups and organizations. With the right mindset, you can motivate those you lead, teach, and love to transform their lives and your own.

Students/Graduates In Action

IIGL Graduate and Board Member Starts his own Business!

Sunday Elebiju (Nigeria) Elebijusunday@gmail.com developed a passion for solving systemic challenges in food production. With over a decade of experience as an aquaculturist, he began his journey by working with programs like the West Africa Agriculture Productivity Program and the Africa Project Development Centre, training youth in agripreneurship. But he quickly realized a critical gap: conventional fish farming methods were harming both people and the environment. Determined to create change, he took a bold step; he began developing organic, sustainable aquaculture systems that could produce food without degrading ecosystems. This earned him am International award as one of the best under 40 hatchery professionals. Seeing the need for broader impact, he launched an initiative to train and empower individual households in sustainable fish farming and aquaponics. To ensure farmers had a reliable market, he created the “Fried Fish Jumbo Snack;”a nutritious, protein-rich product that also created demand for their fish. His model worked. What started as a small training program soon grew into a full-fledged value chain, connecting fish farmers, processors, and consumers. He also introduced aquaponics to schools and communities, teaching the next generation how to grow food sustainably. Their network of trained farmers is growing, and their goal is to convert thousands of conventional fish farms to organic, regenerative practices across Africa.

Valuable Resources for Personal and Planetary Transformation

Perpetual Gratitude

Perpetualgratitude.org

Have you ever been with a group of friends or family and someone will comment about how bad things are? Setting the alarm on your cell phone for 9am, 12noon, 6pm and 9pm to pause for just a moment to remember how grateful you are for all the blessings of life.
