Today I had the pleasure of sharing my own thoughts on this topic with the\u00a0Girls 4 Girls, Uganda<\/a>Women in Sports Cohort 2 led by my dear friend\u00a0Catherine (Cathy) Nakasi<\/a>\u00a0.<\/span><\/p>\n

Values are the foundation upon which one\u2019s life is built. They are the invisible blocks yet their impact is visible. They are not just words we throw around to sound intelligent.\u00a0<\/span>
\nI often say that we judge people by their values but not our own.\u00a0When we judge people by our own values, they will always fall short.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Values are the silent or loud voice in your conscience that either cheer you on or condemn you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Your values will either draw people and opportunities to you or away from you.\u00a0<\/span>
\nThis includes personal and professional relationships.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When seeking for job opportunities, beyond salary, make sure you look at the values of the organization you want to work for\u2026 if they don\u2019t align with your own, it\u2019s a no go zone.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m from a middle-class family of Nyalenda village. \u00a0Nobody comes in this world, without the support of family and friends. Actually, whatever you will be, it is just because of your family. My father is a respectable businessman in our community. My mother is a teacher. They both love their occupation. That\u2019s I have learned from my parents the value of time, honesty, hard work and commitment to the purpose. We are three brothers and sisters. Being the eldest I am the most liable from my brothers and sisters. I guide and take care of my other siblings. We have our own businesses we are running.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am a devoted professional with a strong background in Beekeeping \/apiculture and agripreneurship. I hold a bachelor degree, in general Agriculture from the Liberia International Christian College (LICC).\u00a0 I have developed a solid foundation in honey production, adding value to local agriculture produce.
