I just want to share a\u00a0recent\u00a0joyous experience.\u00a0It is a true story about synchronicity and manifestation. Twenty-five\u00a0Mandela Fellow\u00a0representing 15 African countries are visiting our state of Alabama, USA for the month of July.\u00a0 I am a Citizen Diplomat with a not-for-profit organization,\u00a0Global Ties Alabama\u00a0(GTA). GTA,\u00a0in collaboration with\u00a0our city’s\u00a0A&M University,\u00a0made their visit possible.\u00a0\u00a0I was\u00a0honored and excited to be\u00a0invited to lunch for only 2 hours with the entire group\u00a0to simultaneously celebrate their visit and our Independence Day holiday.\u00a0I\u00a0was inspired to offer my\u00a0one copy of the IIGL Leadership book but as a free raffle.<\/span><\/p>\n

Personal conversations were limited by sheer numbers\u00a0so\u00a0I was able to connect personally with only a few. The last one\u00a0I\u00a0conversed with was\u00a0Anne Marie Micomyiza Uwamwezi,\u00a0a\u00a0young woman\u00a0from Rwanda.\u00a0\u00a0She\u00a0was very enthusiastic about IIGL and asked\u00a0several questions after I shared that I once\u00a0served as\u00a0President of the Board\u00a0with IIGL.\u00a0She\u00a0specifically\u00a0wanted her younger brother to be aware of the free program. As\u00a0the drawing began everyone took out\u00a0their tickets\u00a0Anne Marie\u00a0said out loud; \u201cI’m going to with this!\u201d\u00a0It was\u00a0truly\u00a0exciting when\u00a0her number was called.\u00a0\u00a0 Josie, the GTA\u00a0 intern who handled the drawing,\u00a0had to call the number twice to confirm to her that she actually did win.\u00a0Everyone applauded and the photo documented we were all smiles.<\/span><\/p>\n

And just an aside, I, being Southern born and bred\u00a0in the USA,\u00a0got to make cornbread for the entire group. I am so happy\u00a0for the opportunity to\u00a0serve\u00a0globally once again.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m updating you on my journey, which all of you have had a huge impact. My life has never been the same since joining IIGL.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under your\u00a0guidance, I have since found my passion for creating music and healing frequencies. Which I have started a YouTube channel with a focus on using sound for healing. Since making a hypnosis project with Michael, I delved deeper into sound design, thus learning to create frequencies which offer healing at a subconscious level.<\/span><\/p>\n

Within the next 2 months I am making the move from South Africa to Poland for my Bsc In Nursing program, furthering my journey as a healer and my goal is to make my creative abilities my primary source of income. My father is a respectable businessman in our community. My mother is a farmer. They both love their occupation. That\u2019s I have learned from my parents the value of time, honesty, hard work and commitment to the purpose. We are three brothers and sisters. Being the eldest I am the most liable from my brothers and sisters. I wanted to guide and take care of my other siblings. Reading is my passion.<\/span>
