One of the learning outcomes of IIGL is to set goals and intentions for personal empowerment and well being. Personally, there have been a few new daily goals and intentions I’ve committed to for my own wellness that I wanted to share! They are:

First, I set intention for the upcoming day! Before I get out if bed each morning, I set intention even at the least in a general sense for a great day for me, for my highest and best to be co-created and then I consciously give gratitude to all that I have and know!

Next, I have a favorite songs list that I choose from throughout the day regardless of what I’m doing especially while completing household chores and computer work! The songs are from all different time periods and genres! They are all available for free on You Tube!

Third, I color every day even if it’s just for 5-10 minutes! I have different books I choose from and mostly use colored pencils and glitter markers! Sometimes I close my eyes and free draw just to see what comes through on a blank page!

Fourth, I exercise, at a minimum for 10-15 minutes a day. It makes a huge difference in my overall attitude and feeling! Every day I do yoga stretches and walk or bike ride even if it’s just walking close to my house.

Also, I check on a friend or family member each day that may be in need of support. I talk with and share a laugh with at least one person every day for connection purposes!

Finally, I have a joy list and do one thing from it everyday even if it’s simple like smell a flower, make myself a nice meal and watch the sun rise and set!

What Others Are Saying

David Banner (USA/WI)
dbanner@mwt.net
I am a Professor Emeritus and Faculty Mentor in Leadership and Organizational Change. Much more than simple principles and platitudes, the book takes readers on an inspiring spiritual journey to find their true and deepest self and reach the ultimate in personal growth and spirituality: the discovery of truth and light. In the first chapter, Tolle introduces readers to enlightenment and its natural enemy, the mind. He awakens readers to their role as a creator of pain and shows them how to have a pain-free identity by living fully in the present. The journey is thrilling, and along the way, the author shows how to connect to the indestructible essence of our Being, “the eternal, ever-present One Life beyond the myriad forms of life that are subject to birth and death. Mapping is a simple technique for success. It has helped individuals achieve success.”

Students/Graduates In Action

Springboard Continues to Flourish!
Springboardnig.com
Recently IIGL Graduate and Former Officer, Lawrence Afere (Nigeria) and his wife Helen shared the following message:
Dear supporters and friends of Springboard,
I am happy to take you on a short, interesting tour of Springboard’s activities during the first quarter 2022. We understand that money is energy and that to sustain and build IIGL we need a lot of people pouring their energy into this endeavor on a regular basis. We also know that not everyone can afford to commit $22 a month – especially our students, who live in countries with economies in which this amount can be equal to a weeks’ salary. So we are offering two options for those who wish to become a part of the Dream Team. One can commit to a $22 a month contribution or to spending 22 seconds each day holding the vision of IIGL becoming financially sustainable by the end of 2021!

Please join the Dream Team and help us create an energetic foundation to support the transformational work of IIGL!
