Please describe your vision of a world that works for everyone<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A world that works for me is a world that understands the virtue of integrity. Where integrity means doing what is right especially when no one is watching. That world would be founded on insuring the freedom and justice of those that live in it. Without a shadow of doubt, integrity would ensure the respect of people\u2019s freedoms as well us serving justice on behalf of them that are wronged.<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

To me the major problem facing the world today is the issue of youth unemployment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Youth unemployment is a major canker affecting most developing countries and as such most people cannot afford to take care of their basic needs due to this most unemployed people resort to various vices just to survive and this poses a serious security threat for most people and countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

How do you feel these problems could best be solved?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The problems of the world can be solved I believe by \u201cpurposed entrepreneurship\u201d where people are aided by either financial or technical means to turn their passions and what they love into viable businesses. This will create a lot of job opportunities for a lot of people and also solve the problem of rural urban migration which is a huge problem for most countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Profile<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

My name is Agbenyo Setsofia Diana, I am 21 years old. I am a Christian. I am the 4th of five children of my parents. I\u2019m a very active person and I like to sew, teach and also to read and write poetry. I dislike wet blankets and lazy people too.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am a go getter, a hardworking and passionate person. I like to speak and engage with people, I love to debate and read as well. I dance as a form of exercise, I actually made up my own exercise routine called \u2018Ridicule dance\u2019. The dance is just my own weird but fun dance moves I do to work. It\u2019s pretty fun and easy but really relaxing. I love to eat local foods like fufu and light soup. and very passionate about making education important to young people .it is with this passion that I volunteer for NGOs like The HuD Group a Christian nonprofit organization that empower hands, enlighten heads and engages hearts for global impact in leadership amongst others, as well as Passionate Africa Leadership Institute, an institution that challenges governance and government policies and also seeks to build the base for young people to partake in the governance of their countries. I also spearheaded a few projects during high school, in one of them, I gathered a couple of friends, initiated and facilitated the formation of my school, Wesley Grammar School\u2018s Writers and Debaters Club. I did this due to my wanting to bring the avid readers and writers in the school together so we can share and learn what we read through debating, we succeeded and came seventh in the regional debating competition, out of twenty schools. I also worked on another project where in conjunction with a local bank I helped open bank accounts for some of my friends as a way to help develop a culture of saving amongst young people,<\/span><\/p>\n

It is my aspiration to impact African and the world through my work and passion and I believe that by working hard and learning I can be among the many people who have contributed immensely to the development of my country and continent as well as the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

When I am not at work or volunteering I like to watch TV and listen to music or day dreaming.<\/span><\/p>\n

My favourite books include \u201cThe Winning Attitude\u201d by John C. Maxwell, \u201cThe Purple Hibiscus\u201d by Chimamanda Adichie, \u201cAs a Man Thinketh\u201d by James Allen, \u201cCommanding Your Morning\u201d by Cindy Trimm.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have started a social enterprise in my community called the \u201cChallenge Project\u201d, a nonprofit educational organization that provides an environment for young students between the ages of 14 and 20 to access the right information and skills to aid them in school work and life in general through mentoring. This project means a lot to me as it challenges my leadership skills.<\/span><\/p>\n
