If people can love one another and have Unity irrespective of race, ethinity, nationality, etc,this world can be better place to live in.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">According to Biblical definition of love(1 Corinthians, Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things; believes all things; hopes all things; endures all things.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The most problems facing the world today include: Wars, Poverty, Hunnger, Disease such as Aids, Terrorism, Overpopulation, Enviromental problems such as global worming,pollution, Religious fanatism, Greed, Lack of Compassion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">How do you feel these problems could best be solved?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">As it can be observed from the above list, most of the problems facing this world are man-made. This means that there is a man-made solutions to thse problems. The most important solution to the above problem is instilling the LOVE among the people living on this planet. If Love without boundaries can be created, all the above problems can becom a myth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Profile<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> My name is Kabera Charles. In this profile I am going to concentrate mostly on the incentives that stimulate me to pursue further studies and reflect the motives for my choice of International Institute for Global Leadershipas well as stating my future career objectives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I completed my Bachelor of Law Degree Program this year at Kigali Independent University (Rwanda). The topic of my Bachelor\u2019s degree Dissertation is \u201cA critical Analysis of Effectiveness of Tax Offences Control Mechanisms under Rwandan Law\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The research experience I obtained during my Bachelor\u2019s degree studies helped me develop the skills I consider very useful. I was able to clearly understand the theoretical and conceptual framework of taxation concepts of Taxation and I recommended measures to address Tax evasion after elaborating causes of tax evasion and its negative effect on national development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">My future plans are to become a good leadeer and formulate good policies that will lead to betterment of my community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fortunately I have ten (10) years of experience working in different fields such as Auditing, Customs, Taxation and I think I may employ that experience as an insight of what is happening outside Academia which I believe will facilitate me to cope up with your training.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I have chosen to pursue this Leadership course because it has such a demand for new ideas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">My education and experience suits me to attend your course . I have a Diploma in Business Studies and a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Law. I have also taken many courses and obtained certificates in:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> \u2022 International Players in public Finance and Debt Management;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> \u2022 Risk Management;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> \u2022 Auditing;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> \u2022 Public Finance;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> \u2022 Elements of Banking;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> \u2022 Data processing;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> \u2022 Taxation<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> I also have a Diploma in French Language as a third language after my native language and English. All this probably makes me a good Operations Policy Leader and Manager, but my objective is to become a better one.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Currently, I am employed as Head of Customs Operations Policy by Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA). My duties and responsibilities are to research operational best practices and procedures, set operational policy standards, issue operational instructions and evaluate outcomes and monitor results. It is therefore my responsibility to:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Come up with proposals for areas where a policy is needed;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> \u2022 Scan the key areas to see where there are gaps;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> \u2022 Observe trends and what is happening in other countries;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> \u2022 Prepare policy proposals to the Senior Management Team(SMT)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> \u2022 Write Policy Documents;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> \u2022 Prepare instructions for the operational staff together with the<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> responsible departments within my organization;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> \u2022 Be resource person in the permanent committees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I devise Policy Programs to assist Departments in RRA to perform better.
