I am Kabera Charles, a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in human resource management, tax administration, customs operations, risk management, compliance, and international trade law<\/strong>. My academic background includes a Master\u2019s Degree in International Economic and Business Law, a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Law, a Degree in Social Entrepreneurship, Conflict Management and Leadership Studies, a Diploma in Business Studies, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice<\/strong>. In addition, I have obtained numerous <\/strong>certifications in <\/strong>leadership, taxation, auditing, mediation, and conflict resolution<\/strong>, Coaching and Mentoring,<\/strong> further strengthening my expertise in policy formulation and organizational leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I firmly believe that leadership is the key to societal transformation<\/strong>. This conviction led me to join the International Institute for Global Leadership (IIGL)<\/strong>, where I continue to refine my leadership skills and expand my impact. I am currently honored to serve as a Member of the Board of Directors<\/strong> for IIGL, contributing to its strategic vision and leadership development programs. I am an IIGL Graduate as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, I serve as a Senior Professional in charge of Knowledge Management<\/strong> at Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA)<\/strong>, where I develop and implement corporate strategies for knowledge retention, sharing, and transfer<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

My research interests focus on taxation, legal frameworks, and leadership<\/strong>. My Bachelor\u2019s Dissertation<\/strong>, \u201cA Critical Analysis of the Effectiveness of Tax Offences Control Mechanisms under Rwandan Law,\u201d<\/em> deepened my understanding of taxation principles and their role in economic development.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have also authored two books<\/strong> focusing on:<\/span><\/p>\n

Tax Offences<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

WTO Dispute Resolution Mechanisms<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, I regularly contribute articles to RRA\u2019s internal newsletter, sharing insights on policy and leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n

My long-term goal is to become an influential leader and policy expert<\/strong>, formulating strategic policies that foster sustainable economic growth and empower communities<\/strong>. Leadership is not merely about holding positions; it is about creating positive change<\/strong>. Through my work in tax policy, knowledge management, and international trade, I strive to contribute to Rwanda<\/strong>\u2019s development and inspire future leaders<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am deeply grateful to IIGL for providing a platform that nurtures transformative leadership<\/strong>. The knowledge and insights<\/strong> gained through this program are instrumental in enhancing my ability to lead, mentor, and drive meaningful change<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
