We cannot achieve any of these goals without the participation of our hands. We all need to be stakeholders in a sustainable development of this world. This will help us to implement new goals and attain the previous counterparts as we fore our heads to a better future and give also my nerves and contribution to the building of a better, health, wealthy, green, peaceful world through good leadership strategies: \u201cThe power of love and change.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">World Hunger<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Global Warming \u2013 the problem goes hand-in-hand with pollution, but can also be held separate because it involves one area of pollution, green-house gases<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Pollution<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Education<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Poverty<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Energy Waste and Efficiency \u2013 production of energy-efficient appliances, vehicles, electronic devices, and so on can help us reduce the amount of energy we waste every day<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Alternative Energy Sources<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Space Exploration<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Health Care<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Disease \u2013 genetics<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Some of these problems and opportunities will most likely bring about new opportunities and issues for us as a people to embrace and deal with along the way. Just as technologies breed new technologies so do opportunities branch into other opportunities and problems produce more problems. The future can become better or worse depending on your own personal outlook on things. I think we need to take a step outside the box and recognize this so that we are moving towards common goals instead of dealing with personal issues if we want to succeed in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">How do you feel these problems could best be solved?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Identifying the right tools to fit the problem is key, but the first step we need to take is to identify and understand what are the most pressing issues and which of them are global. If we see these issues as global then it follows, in an increasingly interdependent world, that we have to develop an approach that involves all nations working within a framework to resolve them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Agricultural advances that will increase efficiency in farming and can increase water resources, development of crops that can grow in drier climates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The problem goes hand-in-hand with pollution, but can also be held separate because it involves one area of pollution, green-house gases \u2013 solutions might include<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The discovery or invention of cleaner energy sources \u2013 increased recycling programs and better recycling methods<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The information age is driving society to learn \u2013 online courses such as this one are available to people across the country, even while they are currently employed \u2013 computers and the Internet are being utilized through programs such as the 1 laptop per child program that was developed to help children in third world countries have the opportunity for an education<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Production of energy-efficient appliances, vehicles, electronic devices, and so on can help us reduce the amount of energy we waste every day \u2013 I bet we produce enough heat through the storage and processing of information each day across the world that we could heat every home in Canada during an entire winter, yet all we can think about is using more energy to find ways to keep our servers cold enough that they do not receive any significant heat damage\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Technology should be embraced and driven as a method for reducing health costs for everyone across the world \u2013 is there really a reason that health care needs to cost as much as it does? or do we need to find more efficient and better ways for providing health care? also nano-technology is giving us a method by which we can deliver medicines and perform surgeries never before possible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Profile<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I am passionate about Youth leadership and social entrepreneurship in finding lasting solutions to problems in communities especially those affecting young girls and women in my country, Rwanda. It is in this regard that i founded the Girls Effect Initiative Ltd that aims at empowering young girls in Rwanda through socio-entrepreneurship, and applying and promoting the Girl Effect approach for the sustainable development of Rwanda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I have been a precious, focused young Girl. Who always sees possibilities regardless of all the odds. My interest in leadership and entrepreneurship sparked up a passion within and leads to Be a core head leader of Hands Up for Her Campaign in Nigeria; in Rwanda nominated as Country Focal Point (CFP).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I am passionate about social media, gender and building capacity of communities in my country for climate change awareness and adaptation. I have also the passion for traveling and meeting with other like-minded youths from around the world to share best practices and develop common global strategies for our local problems. With my other colleagues in Rwanda, I co-founded in 2011 the Rwanda #YACA &#8211; Youth Alliance for Climate Actions which the biggest network of youth in Rwanda working to create awareness and address the negative effects of Climate change &#8211; (Keep Green, Sharing best practice on environment).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I believe in the ability of unity and force working for prosperity and inclusive societies, thriving markets and economies and a green earth. I\u2019m thirsty to be a delegate for national and international transformation for the benefit of my country and the world while being resourceful, innovative and flexible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">However, there is something that is more important and that not many people have ever thought of. For any growing nation, it is important that its people have means and the courage to acquire, not only science skills but also reading and writing skills. It is important that we be able to write our history, news and most importantly to read and critically analyze what we read.
