A world where men do not only strife for their own good but for the collective good of all, where men continually increase in knowledge and strive for mastery, where men understand the sacredness of oneness and how we are all one, a world where everyone contributes for change.

What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today?

Nelson Mandela said “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”, poor education is the most pressing problem facing the world today, we have failed as a people to raise generations of people that are trained and equipped to solve problems, people who are passionate to create change, we have succeeded to replace education with entertainment and have slowly driven ourselves into ignorance. The neglect of the most powerful weapon of change has caused war, violence, fraud, senseless killings etc. the world sure has countless problems but education is the root cause and one of the most important factors.

How do you feel these problems could best be solved?

If the cause of a thing is known, the solution will not be farfetched. To solve our problems we need to strategically educate our generation from the cot to the grave, we need to put mediums in place to foster proper education, not just head knowledge but educating the total man to be useful to the world. We would need to further use the media as an instrument of change rather than destruction. In the process we would succeed to raise men who would be pillars of change in whatever field of endeavor they choose, men who would be ready to transmit and pour themselves into generations unborn through monumental landmarks and influence. If we can educate every man the world would change one man at a time. Like Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said “Let everyone sweep in front of his own door and the whole world will be clean”.

Profile

My name is Nelson Apochi Owoicho, an indigene of odugbo in Apa local government area of Benue state Nigeria.
