Please describe your vision of a world that works for everyone.
My vision of a world that works for everyone is one in which everyone has the capacity to be whatever he/she wants to be regardless of race or social status. A world where everyone has equal chances at survival and Success and where justice is superior to even those in government. A world that works for everyone is also the world in which the government has the integrity and faith to invest in its citizens and pool resources together for communal progress and development .

What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today?
I perceive that the most pressing problem in the world today is the inability for its inhabitants to look beyond the instant gratification of greed and pro actively invest in the future. The widening gap between the elite and common man is also a big issue because the elites have access to lot of things which is invariably beyond the grasp of the common man. Thus, there are no prospects for balance and true prosperity.

How do you feel these problems could best be solved?
The solutions to these problems should start with transparency of the law. Every citizen regardless of surname, hierarchy or account details should be subject to the law and it\’s stipulations. Every human should also be given Equal access to what he desires regardless of sex or social status. The individuals who lead should be visionary enough to act on collective interest rather than selfish ones.

Profile
I am Precious Muogbo Nonye, the second of four children from Anambra State in Nigeria. I am a final year student of Prosthetics and Orthotics at Federal University of Technology, Owerri in the south eastern part of Nigeria. I am a budding entrepreneur in areas of e commerce, agriculture and technology. As a youth in the developing part of Africa, I seek to always pursue service; this is evident in my love for volunteering in humanitarian and social causes. I strongly believe that the ladder to influence is threaded through service and this has shaped my mind to always want to better my eco-space. My interests are: arts, music, journalism, activism, writing, law and global Ambassadorship. I’m currently and undergraduate but engage in online courses to equip myself with tools required for building my knowledge bank. I am pro leadership and positive change in my society and I’m willing to weather any storm to change the Nigerian/African Narrative.

My past education involves basic certificates like WASSCE and certificates I received from online courses in administration, design entrepreneurship and Public Speaking.
I’m currently a final year undergraduate of Prosthetics and Orthotics which basically deals with restoring mobility through professional excellence. We help give hope to those who lost their limb due to diseases, genetics, trauma or war by manufacturing limbs who would help them live a near normal life /reintegrate them back into society. Some infants who are born malformed are also provided with Orthotic devices which help to immobilize the malfunctioning joint for better alignment. I chose my course of study because of the level of negligence and psychological trauma which amputees and malformed children have to live with for the rest of their lives. Most of them don’t explore options due to ignorance, fear and hostile treatment they receive from healthcare providers. The high cost of the facilities is very high which hikes the price of limbs; so we have to deal with issues such as paucity of funds and demand outstripping supply due to the lack of technological advancements which is crucial to delivering the best of services to our patients. I currently volunteer with Organizations like Guardians of the nation International, African Students for Liberty, Cleaner FUTO Initiative and Women Unite To Live Initiative. In each of these Organizations, I help with different activities like administrator, coordinator, content writer/developer and activist.

With IIGL, I look forward to broadening my scope of leadership and strengthening my network of emerging leaders all for the purpose of revolutionizing our society and the world at large.
