Self-awakening is very important, apart from providing formal and non-formal education and creating jobs and business opportunities the study of human consciousness is vital as well.

Profile:
I was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on December 1st 1979. I am the second son of my parents. When I was a small child my father went to war frontier in the east of Ethiopia. Since then all of the responsibility was on the shoulder of my mother and she raised us without our father's involvement.

When I was in elementary school I had been involved in school's mini-media club as an amateur journalist. I think at that time the love for literature and philosophy developed in my heart. It was not easy to study my education at high school strait to finished secondary school; at 10th grade I left the school and went to southern part of the country to work. Before graduating from high school in 2001, I joined Fortune, a local weekly newspaper as sales and marketing promoter that was a decisive time in my life and I did learn a lot & able to see what was going on in the world.

Moreover, I have attended various workshops, seminars, and symposiums on IT, youth forum, policy issues and religion matters.
In  2004 we founded Energize Ethiopia, a local NGO working on solar energy, adult education and literacy, environmental protection and health. In the organization I have a position as deputy manager. In 2005, I joined Music MayDay Ethiopia, an international NGO, which is active and popular on art and culture under the objectives of “Youth education through popular forms of art for positive thinking and development”; before I did quit in 2009 I had various positions and responsibilities, including PR and a coordinator for Book Reading Club.
2008 was a year for stretch further and I did travel to attend my first regional conference in Kenya, and then visited Uganda.  In 2010 I went to Thailand for Buddhist studies, participated a retreat and conference then again stayed more time in trainings.
Currently I involve in the following organizations:
Oaktree Communications - Market Developer
www.YouBloom.com -Marketing
www.humanhealthproject.org- Promoter
www.youthforhumanrights.org- Country representative
www.global-leadership.com -National Coordinator
www.pressenza.com - Correspondent

Reading, travel, discussing and the Internet are my favorites activities.
