If you can become the leader you ought to be on the inside, you will be able to become the leader you want to be on the outside.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This quote emphasizes the central role of leadership in the success or failure of any endeavor. This statement asserts that leadership is the key determinant of outcomes in various aspects of life, whether in organizations, communities, or society at large. It suggests that effective leadership is critical for driving progress, achieving goals, and overcoming challenges.\u00a0The phrase that \u201cLeadership truly develops from the inside out.\u201d\u00a0highlights the idea that genuine leadership begins with self-awareness, personal growth, and values-driven behavior. How Have You Changed?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I started IIGL while in High school, finishing Level One and Two studies it has been very educative, informative and more so fun to study.\u00a0 It has been like unleashing my potential in an earlier age, besides high school studies, I have gained skills for survival, I have learned on how to use my brain effectively and become a more better person in the society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I am becoming more vibrant, conscious in every aspect of my life, and this has helped me to assist other youths in the society, many a times I have been given chances to speak with youths in positive behavior change, and how to gain more in the society by being focus and also be good ambassador in advocating a drug free society in youths. IIGL taught me the importance of flexibility in life that is why I changed my attitude, especially coming from\u00a0 a slum it needs patience, courage and be resilience in order to overcome the odds, this is a place whereby you need skills for survival, it\u2019s a den of all evil things, drug abuse is the order of the day, crime is not a big deal, dropping from school it is normal, but after getting the right people and mentor from IIGL, I changed my perspective and decided to be a better person, it is not a walk in the park to complete High school or primary level education in the slums, there are a lot of distractions, young girls below 15 years they are impregnated and also young boys as earlier as 13 years already are in criminal activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I learned to overcome the fear within and turn the invisible into visible. So many people are not living their dreams because they are living with fear, I know life will always try to make things difficult for me, especially in my case where even having a one day meal was an issue, but after joining IIGL I knew that fear will not build me but break my strength , I started facing my fears boldly and through that I found out that there was nothing to fear in the first place, fear of dropping from school not completing my studies, fear that we will be chased out of our house due to house rent, but I found out that the more I feared nothing worked out, fear will never solve our problems, as the saying goes what doesn\u2019t kill you, strengthens you, through al I have undergone I speak boldly and even people do say that I am changed and very much brave and determined.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To the founder and Dean of studies\/students I like to echo for giving us this platform to transform our lives positively.\u00a0 These studies are a life changer.\u00a0 It is a manual for a better life and a better society it speaks to our brains directly, to our health our soul and it is indeed a wonderful and noble course to take, through this studies it has made me a totally different person in terms of reason , in terms of our I see things and in terms of interaction, also it has given me knew friends whom we think critically and more so in a positive life transformation, knowledge shared is power shared, or this institution sharing the books, knowledge, time and mentorship is transformation of the universe. I understand we have young leaders who are doing better in the society making it a good place; that one person can change a community.\u00a0 It is like when we plant a seed it sprouts to so many fruits that can feed a community.\u00a0 It is the same with IIGL, the impact of IIGL is felt in different countries, that I know one day one time the world will come together through IIGL to have positive solutions to have a better world, a world for all nation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I have also learned that respect and being thankful for everything is a virtue that should be uphold in the society, through respect you are respected back, people will see who you reciprocate before they reciprocate back, what goes round comes round, we need to embrace IIGL, for it is all the society needs for a better world. It cuts across all professionals without discrimination, we are all equal in IIGL, and that is why even the set-up is standard that even my old grandmother can understand the language without biasness. I have managed to employ 6 young men and I also offer some basic tips for electrical safety to my community.
