The New Dynamics of Winning<\/span><\/p>\n

Here are some key points that were highlights:<\/span><\/p>\n

What makes a winner? I have noted the three basic components that are essential to produce a winner in any field of calling. Common sense: this is the inborn ability to interpret complex issues and round them down to basics. Common sense is required in any pursuit in life. The more things are made simple the easier it becomes to achieve them. This is an indispensable gift given by the Almighty to his people to help them reach out for their best in life. Knowing your field: this is what makes you an expert in your field of Endeavour. This is what gives you authority to attract a followership who buys into your vision. people love to follow people who are sure of where they are going and confident that they are reaching there.<\/span><\/p>\n

Paying the price: Achievers don\u2019t just wait for a lucky break; they give it all what they have. They are always on the forefront of the battle. They are prepared to put on an overall and get their hands dirty. Sacrifice is what makes champions and brings about wonderful results. Life demands that in whatever I set my heart to do; I should do it with all my heart without bothering wither I fail. Sacrifice is what turns my obstacles into advantages. Because nothing can stand in the way of a person who is ready to give it a trial.<\/span><\/p>\n

It begins with a dream: Dream is the foundation of all breakthroughs in life. Dream is what I set my mind to achieve in life. without a sound dream life becomes a boring adventure; it lacks excitement. dreams ignite our passion to build a world that is habitable and conducive for human exploration. Life can be very interesting if every person plays his part by living out his or her dream. Dream is what defines a true person and those who are just living for the sake of breathing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fame; fortune and integrity: While it is noble and a worthy goal to achieve fortune and fame; there is need for any person to live a life of honor. Integrity is the pillar of honest achievement in today\u2019s society. When men of integrity speak, they are worth listening. Without integrity no one will risk following me. Everyday of my life I continue to cultivate this trait. This is what will make me live with a free conscience, knowing that all my labors and contribution are not in vain. Integrity will help me to leave being a legacy that can benefit mankind.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visualization of victory: A true leader keeps his eye ahead; he is not limited by the shortness of his followers sights. I have to constantly keep the pictures of where I want to be in the next few years. Visualization enables me to deal with the challenge of failure because I live my dream in advance. I see things before they come to pass. This is the key to reach my destiny.<\/span><\/p>\n

Self- confidence and self-transformation; this is the assurance that I have; that my dream will materialize: Without these two attributes my dream is doomed. As I pursue my dream, confidence will make me stand in times of opposition. Self-transformation will continuously energize me to clean my mind and focus on things that matter most in life. I off-load unnecessary burdens that weigh me down and incorporate things that add value to my dream.<\/span><\/p>\n

The quality of leadership: Everything depends on how I want it done; what I visualize is what will come to happen. So my leadership plays an important role to bring my dream to fruition. There things that I should cherish as a leader to enable me to achieve my goals in life. People enjoy following good leaders. people are ready to invest anything in any dream as long as the person proves that he\/she is a worthy leader. People invest in dependable leaders. I long to be a leader who is reliable and bankable.<\/span><\/p>\n

Feeling truly refreshed and proud that an intellectual cum leadership training program that started four years ago at International Institute for Global Leadership, IIGL, USA has happily come to an amazing end in the early hours of today.<\/span><\/p>\n

To God be the glory as I bag a certificate on ‘Global Leadership Studies’ from this prestigious institute. It couldn\u2019t have been possible without God and my personal efforts. I am sharing this because it has pleased God to make it possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

My Program director, Deborah Rosen after examining my project and my research skills pointed out while congratulating me on my graduation today that she is indeed proud of me. Dear Deb, I pray you will have multiple reasons to be proud of me in the near future.<\/span><\/p>\n

You were and still are a dependable counselor, inspiration, gentle, kind in words and deeds and an inspiring intellectual program director. You have the heart of a great teacher, whose main duty is to inspire. I am so proud that I met a great personality like you. Great figures like you come once in a millennium.<\/span><\/p>\n

You guided me all through the leadership training like an egg on iron; I didn’t and couldn’t slip from thy hands. At no point did I ever get stressed, or attempted to give up. It may interest my readers to know that I read directly about 32 awesome leadership books, an eye-opening writing exercise, research project \/ business plan during this program and about 100 indirect books from other sources that helped in shaping me.<\/span><\/p>\n

I promise to dedicate the remaining part of my life in community development through writing and speaking on leadership development opportunities like goal setting\/ mapping, entrepreneurial pursuits, business & sales coaching, foresight, stewardship, servant leadership, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

To the founder of this great institute Michael Lightweaver, thanks a million times for founding, pioneering and superheading this awesome IIGL initiative and for shaping the lives of many young leaders not just in Africa, but around the world. The future is so bright for IIGL family. Words are truly insufficient for me to deeply express my deep sentiments of gratitude to you Michael.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am so happy to identify with Felix Iziomoh, who was the first graduate of this institute, and who is currently by the special divine design the president of this institute, and who has earlier on sent me a message of congratulations plus welcoming me into the alumni community. I look forward in joyful hope and in blending with the alumni community in doing amazing work in Africa and around the world through my start-up organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

Special thanks to other members of the IIGL family that have been there for me especially Iziomoh B. Emmanuel, and Ziyad R. Abdule. Your advice, suggestions and leadership blending had been legendary.<\/span><\/p>\n

President Emeritus and Graduate in Texas for 4 month Fellowship<\/span><\/p>\n

President Emeritus and Graduate Noeline Kirabo (Uganda); noelinekirabo@yahoo.com started a 4 month Fellowship in August with The Community Solutions Program; where she will be staying in Houston, TX. The program is a professional development program for the best and brightest global community leaders working in the fields of transparency and accountability, tolerance and conflict resolution, environmental issues and women\u2019s issues. Community Solutions provides four-month-long fellowships at U.S. community-based non-profit or other organizations, government offices or legislative bodies. Fellows will work with community leaders to enhance their practical expertise, leadership skills and professional contacts to address societal issues in their home communities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eligible organizations include community-based, non-profit organizations, government offices or relevant institutions in the United States that actively engage in community development projects. Organizations are asked to host, mentor and guide the Community Leaders during their four-month-long fellowships.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sintayehu Asfaw (Ethiopia)<\/span><\/p>\n

I was born August 4, 1979. My home Country is Ethiopia. I am a holder of Bachelor’s of Art in Journalism and Communication from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia and Masters of Art in Leadership and Good Governance from Ethiopian Civil Service University August 2013. While working as a Reporter, Editor, Public Relation officer, Head Communication Affairs office, Advisor to the Minister and Director Change Management in different Government Sectors Specially under Ministry Of water, Irrigation and Energy, Ethiopia. I have within ten years work Experience in Government Sector. I have developed more skills of Communication and Leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n

Benjamin D. Yeagar (Liberia)<\/span>
\n I have many experiences working across three West African Countries which are Ghana, Nigeria and my beloved Country Liberia and among these, I have worked as social worker in Ghana and missionary to rural population in the Central Region. In Nigeria, where I attended Bible College I had the privilege of organizing Bible studies for the local which I worked with. In Liberia, I have worked with both local and international organizations such as YouthVision where I served as administrator and trainer. Currently in Liberia, I am the chief training for one local NGO called Renewed Energy Serving Humanity (RESH) where we trained people into Psychosocial Counseling. I personally teach courses in Conflict Management and Resolution and Community mobilization. In Addition to my work as trainer, I am also involved with Leadership development training where I trained people into personal development, peace building, goal setting, casting vision, youth development and Church growth. I am also an ardent supporter of quality education for all people especially for my Country Liberia that has had a devastating 14 years civil.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am currently working on a USD $50,000 School funding project for the building of a state-of-the-art primary School in my country that will provide quality education for especially Children and women. My personal interests are to see a world where everyone maximizes his\/her potential, develop men and women where they can better use their abilities effectively. I have travelled across six African Countries and those travels have helped to shift my view of the world and the way I treat other people.<\/span><\/p>\n

On an average I read at least one book every month however I sometime accelerate that by reading three books at sometimes and most these books are into leadership development. My favorite books are from the late Christian Authors Dr Myles Munroe and the best I have read is \u201cThe Power and Purpose of Character in Leadership\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

I love intelligence movies where my mind can be stretched and to see things from difference perspective. I also like documentaries such as National Geography, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have had training with leadership Organizations such as Global Leadership Forum and International Leadership Institute, and I have spoken on leadership conferences in many countries especially among youth at Church level. I have many years of leadership training and experiences. I am married to Nigerian and she is a Chemical Engineer by training and we have a son. I am family man and I believe the family should be protected in every sense of the Word so that society will survive. We have been married for the past 4 years and we enjoyed helping people to develop their potential.<\/span><\/p>\n
