It is my greatest delight, honor and privilege to stand before you deeply inspired and touched by your congratulatory messages, inspiration and ideas. My heart is filled with joy for the confidence you placed in me to serve you as Board President.<\/span>
\nI have no reservation to honor that trust, I most humbly accept my nomination as President of this great organization. International Institute for Global Leadership, IIGL USA is committed to training erudite community leaders, high impact change makers and transformational change agents in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you our immediate past president, Felix Iziomoh for graciously preparing, mentoring and guiding me at every step during the one year I served as Vice President. I must confess that I had sufficient time to prepare for this office. Your ideas, inspiration and wisdom were exceptionally professional, and they will continue to guide me to noble paths. I will build on your amazing legacies. As President emeritus and advisory member of the board, I look forward having you and harnessing your quality ideas in our regular monthly board meetings.<\/span><\/p>\n

To our dear Donors, you are our pride; your donations made it possible. You have given us unprecedented opportunity to be useful to ourselves, our communities and the world around us. Thank you for upholding and restoring human dignity by investing in our collective future.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s join hands together to make this happen again. We have come to serve sincerely. We want to assure you that your expectations will never be cut short. You have been wonderful. Our distinguished donors, we will listen attentively to your admonitions always, we are open for fresh ideas on how to take our organization to the next level.<\/span>
\nTo our students and alumni community, I salute all of you, who are tackling some of the global toughest challenges in your various dynamic communities. I am happy that some of you are doing your work not just for recognition, often with little or no resources, but because you share a vision of a better, connected world. Some of you are working to reduce poverty through agriculture, some are on leadership development, some are working with children with special disabilities, some are on working on teen\u2019s mentorship, youth development, education and literacy, coaching, girl child education, resisting poverty and cycles of violence in the world. We are truly a global network of change makers. Thank you for donating yourselves for these noble tasks. I am proud of you all.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am determined to make a difference while following the great footsteps of leaders before me. Let us all work together for IIGL that can deliver more and become more for the good of humanity. I am very optimistic about the future of our global organization. I am very certain that the new crop of inspired leaders, working as a team will do more, become more and achieve more. I have faith in this team. I have come to serve. We cannot do it alone, we need each other at every point, please let\u2019s keep the vision of IIGL alive by supporting this new board members as always.<\/span>
\nThese are ideas I think we should be working on in this new term:<\/span>
\nComing up with huge ideas on how to continuously raise FUNDS for IIGL. I believe this is KEY (and I think we should consider partnering with individual donors, private and corporate organizations both locally and internationally to make this happen)<\/span>
\nHolding a face-to-face meeting\/ convention of IIGL Global family.<\/span>
\nPeriodically promoting IIGL activities on our various social channels; Facebook, twitter, blogs etc. (I am already doing this in my little capacity, and I find joy in it).<\/span>
\nMaking IIGL visible by attracting students in countries where we don\u2019t have students at the moment.<\/span>
\nSpeaking about IIGL to our friends, circles and various speaking engagements- because any person anywhere in the world has a lot to benefit from IIGL.<\/span>
\nHolding regional students workshops, conferences, or networking with each other periodically<\/span>
\nBonding with the alumni community, so that we can be more connected and helpful to our institution.<\/span><\/p>\n

I can’t remember the precise date but I know it was late 2005 when I had the opportunity to hear about IIGL. I was restless until I was able to submit my application to Michael. The first 2 books I read in IIGL opened me to a new perspective about life and why I am here. Prior to that time (before I became an IIGL student) I was studying hard as an undergraduate so I could some day get a job that pays well maybe in the oil and gas or bank. Take care of my families (nuclear and extended), save money for the future, buy a car, and work for money till I die. In 2015, after I began to study at IIGL, my life changed. I realized that the true meaning and reason for me being here is to live for others\/live to make a difference. I realized God put me here for a purpose. I discovered true meaning of life! Here I am today living truly! IIGL is highly instrumental to the establishment of my organization, Springboard – a platform of organic farmers. And a network of producers and rural entrepreneurs with over 2,000 farmers and 500 rural entrepreneurs. Today, I want to appreciate Michael and all supporters of IIGL for establishing IIGL. I do not know what else I would be doing with my life at this moment if I did not meet IIGL in 2005!<\/span><\/p>\n

\nFormer IIGL French Speaking Director and IIGL student Roger Yomba (Cote d\u2019Ivoire\/USA) completed his MBA in May from Saint Joseph\u2019s University in Philadelphia, PA with outstanding grades. Roger is the Co-founder and CEO of Pragly\u2019s LLC and is a Strategy and Risk Management Coach. Roger celebrated the milestone with his wife Gloria and three children! Congratulations!<\/span><\/p>\n

\nI attended the following schools: Nigerian Law School (Kano campus) 2016-2017 with a B.L. Second Class Lower Division. The Relevant Coursework I took was: Corporate Law Practice, Property Law Practice, Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation and Professional Ethics and Skills. I also attended the University of Nigeria, Enugu campus 2011-2016 with a LL.B (Honors) Second Class Upper Division. My relevant Coursework is: Nigerian Legal System, Law of Contract, Law of Consumer Protection, Administrative Law, Commercial Law, Law of Arbitration, Law of Taxation, Company Law, Banking Law Government Day Secondary School Lissam 2003-2009; WASSC and NECO Certificates.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ukwandu Ogechi Perpetua (Nigeria)<\/strong><\/span>
\nI am from Imo State, which is in the Eastern part of Nigeria. I am a mother who is so passionate about creating an enabling and loving environment for my kids and the community I lived in. I am the first in a family of 7 and so naturally I command respect and have this loving personality that people find endearing, approachable and appreciating. I believe in equality and that everyone is same irrespective of religion, tribe or color. I hate seeing people being maltreated and I don’t like negative thoughts, people and vibes as I try to dissociate myself from such. I believe in equality, respect, justice as well as giving a good education to our girls because they can soothe and calm the wave of hatred and violence if given that which they deserve. I love reading and writing, traveling, meeting like minds, photography, inter netting, music and films.<\/span><\/p>\n
